Well according to CG he isn't signing any SKY deal for next season meaning Rangers games wouldn't be shown. If he sticks to his guns then there will certainly be interesting times ahead. Without us in the top division there is little attraction for SKY to show Scottish football and even if they did it would be on reduced terms next season meaning all the financial promises made recently couldn't be kept.

Liewell & Regan worked together at Coors. That's well known. What needs to be asked is what made Regan prime candidate for the position of SFA Chief Exec. His recent CV is one of abject failure at YCC. Why was he selected & by whom for SFA chief exec ? were there other candidates ? who were they ? why were they not selected? a whole serious oof questions need to be asked about this appointment Perhaps Daly might want to make a documentary about this. Yet again probably not as we know his allegiances too.

Just wait til they start negotiations with SKY & try to find a replacement sponsor for the CB. If CG sticks to his guns regards SKY they've a big problem. I believe SKY won't broadcast any live Rangers games against Rangers wishes. This will mean a serious drop in what they'd pay. Dumbcaster needs to realise Rangers will not subsidise Scottish football via a SKY deal next season like what happened this season.

Think you'll find we might be back in the top division as early as next season so might not be week in week out........
-
We should re-sign him IMO if he wants to come back that is. He's far better than anything we've currently got.
-
who's the main guy in blue pitch holdings ? only thing about shops in belfast & glasgow airports - will they make a profit? The previous one in glasgow didn't
-
as I said on another thread we've 14 SFL3 games left this season. After that a decision needs to be taken regards Ally & his staff.

was it not reid's son & nolan partners who interviewed rhegan for the job. question is, was anyone else interviewed ? if so who & by whom? One of the Rangers websites (think it was RM) questioned this and got a letter from the SFA's lawyers then in true Rhegan style he went on TV and said he was head-hunted with the implication that no one else was interviewed

This is where CG & JT need to earn their money. If JT has anything on Regan & the SFA in general he needs to use this ammunition in the months ahead which I see being very turbulent indeed due to financial promises being made regards reconstruction which cannot be fulfilled unless the financial contributors to scottish football are prepared to take a hit for another season without us in the top division or they may simply walk away altogether
-
Possibly true but after yesterday's debacle we need CB's. I cannot see anyone in scotland who would improve us at CB presently
-
Think we need to look outside Scotland for players. Playing in scottish football is no indicator to their ability
-
Anyway guys what about his statement about sporting merit & having no money? just wait til the summer & scottish football implodes......
-
usual drivel but one part caught my eye... 'it's OK having sporting merit but if you haven't got any money to run your game and you end up with clubs going down the tubesthen that doesn't help anybody'. thought all was well in the SPL ? let me guess. They haven't got a replacement sponsor for the CB for next season and SKY are edgy about it too without us. Ah well they would listen to liewell
-
is shinnie one of them ? would he come back ? as I say no idea who they are and I'd imagine we'd need to rely on them honouring their word as I'm not sure how we could offer pre-contracts to anyone at this stage.

it's all very well have young players but are they good enough? in our current team only McLeod & McKay have a chance of making it IMO. Perhaps this is one area I wouldn't totally blame the manager for I have to say although our scouting system doesn't look fit for purpose -
We need two CB's & MF creativity as a starter. In all honesty we're not going to find these players in Scotland. That's why we need a proper global scouting system which doesn't have Neil Murray as chief scout. If rumours are true there's 2 players in the SPL who are running down their contracts & are joining us next season on SEPT1. No idea who they are.

And why did HMRC allow whyte to continue not paying tax for so long ? A mate who's a chartered accountant says this is virtually unheard of that a business can do this especially when it's someone like Whyte & his business history. -

If Traynor told the SFA & they did nothing then that's extremely serious indeed. Could that be a reason why Traynor's now with Rangers ? i.e. for ammunition to be used against the SFA ? -

I fully respect your opinion m8 but I think there comes a time when every manager reaches a stage where it is apparent things aren't going as well as might be expected and a decision needs to be taken one way or the other. I think we've reached that stage with Ally & some may argue we reached that stage a while ago. I also think a form of nepotism has crept into Rangers when I look at the likes of Ian Durrant(coach) & Neil Murray (chief scout) neither of whom has any real record worthy of mention in these roles elsewhere prior to joining Rangers. They are, I would say, Ally's buddies & that's how they got these positions rather than on abilities. All of these I believe need addressed by CG sooner rather than later. -

everyone can see Ally's not up to the job. CG is a businessman. He must realise people will not continue to pay money to watch this drivel. That will affect the business & he'll have to take action.Personally I'd prefer a foreign manager (Paolo Sergio? Dan Petrescu?) with Scottishcoaches but that's for another day. Given the fact we were about to be given a transfer embargo last august it was imperative Ally got the right players in to see him thro' to the end of it. He didn't & now we're paying for it big style. We're hopelessly short at CB & MF. Last august we were signing players who were available rather than what we needed i.e. CB & MF -

knew what? whyte wasn't paying N.I./PAYE ? Only Stewart Regan seemingly didn't know this despite JT telling his SFA (Liewell must have told Stewart to do nothing to maximise the damage) Just like Regan knew nothing about Whyte's dodgy business history until Daly's documentary in october(aye right stewart. it was in the daily telegraph the day whyte got Rangers but his boss liewell must have told him to say he knew nothing about it) -

CG must come out at some point this month and tell us how he sees the football management side of the business -
And who has tactics, a gameplan, knows his best eleven, gets the best out of players, knows players best positions etc, etc

He's been nearly 2 years as Rangers Manager. How much longer will you give him ? The results & performances simply haven't been good enough.
