If you’ve got £7,000 - £10,000 to spare you might be able to buy this natty number at auction, the shirt worn by George Robledo of Newcastle United in the 1952 FA Cup Final when he scored the goal in a 1-0 victory over Arsenal. Robledo was a Chilean internationalist. His brother Ted also played for Newcastle in the Final as did Scottish internationalists Ronnie Simpson, Frank Brennan and Bobby Mitchell. Arsenal’s Scotsmen were Alex Forbes and Jimmy Logie.
The big surprise is that Jackie Milburn didn’t score for the Magpies.
