Amms - a reply to your comments back a page. You say aberdenn, united are having to go with youth as they are financially fucked. Doesn't take a genius to put us in the same category ie financially fucked. But hey ho david king will ride into town witha bucket load of easy cash and all will be well with world. Me? I would rather we had a good plan...

No need to accept the aberdeen players. We just need to nurture and develop our own. Reality check... we will have to "best" the likes of aberdeen, united etc before we can hope to topple celtic. I trust that we accept that it's unlikely we will have 20 mil to spend so clever building is what is needed. a fair few of these "starlets" are likely to be intrrnational caps by the time we get to spl whatever the fuck it's called. At present rate of development i shudder to think how far we could be lagging. I'm not here trying to big up the shaggers and the arabs et al. Just don' t want us to stick our heads in the sand and "hope" it all works out in the end. Had a look at some stats and untd average attendance down a few hundred. Aberdeen up from 9300 lsst sesson to over 12000 so far this season.i woild have had macinnes at rangers last season in a heartbeat...

The irony is we laughed at them as they would be fucked without us in spl. They are the ones turning to youth, playing better football, young progressive "coaching" managers..as i stay up north i know their fans are excited again, not because they win every game but because they are buying into the philosophy.. thats what people on here are banging on about ally lacking. It's not some impossible fantasy it just needs a proper football manager who can build a club not just assemble a group of experienced pros..

So we spend your 20 million plus to try and catch celtic. Where is the revenue coming from to fund this or are you advocating we forget the recent past and spend money we don't have in the hope we get a champions league windfall?

Oh the times they are a changin.... We need a manager who can develop talent into "international class" players. Thats some youngsters, some average joes that can be taken up a level and the odd gem that we scout from overseas for peanuts...

Just saw Ally on SSN. it's just plain embarassing. He's saying he wants players in not out. Had no idea that cuts were needed. Does he really think the support are taken in with his little media games. I want a Rangers manager who is competent and mature enough to work with his boss to do whats right for this club.

I think in Wallace we have an experienced "football" CEO that will not have the wool pulled over his eyes regarding transfers and squads etc. He knows what we do and don't need, just like most of the fans. Ally will have to get with the programme and start "managing and coaching a team" instead of just assembling a large group of players that will cover his ass....

Don't disagree with Barry's comments re bonus's. Funny he doesn't mention over inflated salary for Ally for managing a third div club.. Finally remind me has Barry repaid the EBT loans he got from Rangers, several mill if i'm not mistaken? Now that would help the cause!
