The ref saw the challange and thought it warrented a yellow which was correct decision. There was no extreme force or stamping involved in the challange therefore only right that club would appeal and it should be returned back to a yellow card. When compared to Taylors tackle against Motherwell that was deemed a yellow even when reviewed by VAR then Cifuentes wasn't even worthy of any card.

Young McCausland needs to learn that beating a player once is enough. He had a couple of opportunities to shoot after dribbling past a defender but opted to try beat another instead of firing a shot a goal.

Yet again my vote goes big John Lundstram, one error aside he strolled it again.

Shankland in is a no brainer imo. He does what it says on the tin, he scores goals. Boyd had no pace and he did alright. Ok so maybe he's not the top quality striker some folk crave for but he will score goals in this league and that's what we are lacking big time. Edit to add....i watched Clement and him at full time and he got a wee bit more than a handshake.

Even though he did try his best to miss his goal in the 3...0 victory last season i still wanted him around.. first choice starter? No but squad player for sure.

Still bemused that not one resolution passed with 100% backing.
