    you use self respect, justifiable and right to describe what is no more than defeatism. The club will remain soulless for as long as the fans do. We are the life blood and the soul not the corporate entity grabbing the reigns. The club does not have an opinion or soul or show respect, men do. The club is a vehicle for our collective thinking,wants and desires, a vehicle that has been hijacked at this time. Absolutely nothing says we cannot get it back other than or subservience and defeatism. Its a matter of want. never mind the nonsense about Rangers being a toxic brand in society, society is the majority view, we are the majority. We are certainly hated but not across society at large although it does seem that way at times.

    agree wholeheartedly with that just don't agree that it is an acceptable reason to quit or an insurmountable obstacle or even a permanent one. Nothing but a blink of an eye in time and no permanent damage has been done, yet. That's like saying if someone breaks into your house moves the furniture around and makes them selves at home it is pointless to throw them out and move your furniture back as it no longer resembles your home. The only recourse is to built another house.

    Don't get me wrong Llambias will do Ashley's bidding and will always look to make SD a buck but i don't think its as black and white as that. Personally think Llambias is the man Ashley uses to counter his own desires. He uses him to try and bring fans happiness and his wants closer. Llambias job will be to ensure they do nothing that strips the club in a fashion that destroys it while maximizing the return for Ashley. He will be the countenance to Ashley's greed. He mars what fans demand against what Ashley takes and tries to find a happy medium. Whether he will be able to find that balance here is another question. Don't get me wrong the guy will lie and cheat to get what he wants but that's not always a bad thing if he is on your side. A better approach would be for the fans to approach him with a list of demands that are our line in the sand with timeline expressing the need for expedience in my opinion.

    agree on Ashley but most of them liked Llambias as far as i have seen.

    its one man stop acting like he is an unstoppable force, he is not. As already said not giving him cash will not in anyway shape or form hurt him. It only hurts us,those who care. I understand you see starting a new team as being the only way. That's fine go do it, just don't kid on in any fashion that it is Rangers or an acceptable substitute for the vast majority. Even if the club died and shut it's doors i still wouldn't see a new club as anything else than a gimmick. You might as well pick a small already existing team and just follow them than start anew. Plenty of teams in Scotland already no need whatsoever for another.

    so what happens if Ashley gets control as a consequence the Easdales become mute as the are edged out and youth starts to be the center of our universe? Is it all still doom and gloom? How far are we away from acceptable foundation for hope?

    Think its fair to say from previous negotiations the club have had with MA that that will cost us more than the resulting shares.

    does that mean in other words take out loans and secure them where you like but do not offer shares to new share holders in layman's terms?

    as said before not too sure Frankie would appreciate me posting ideas as such! put it this way we cannot sway MA we need to get on our side those who represent an equal force to Ashley and who he has need in. Personally while doing that I would attack his soft spot in his love for SD, with the clear demand he enters fair negotiations over merchandise etc. We don't need rid of him just him working to our benefit if that must be under duress then so be it.

    he care not a bit about the club he will make money from the badges either way. The only way to fight Ashley is with an equal and opposite force. That should be our goal.
