  1. This point also needs to be made time and again by us. It has clearly slipped Aberdeen's mid already. Why did they do it, eh? Get them to admit it.... I am just home to the news and while it is welcome, I doubt it is all over yet. Liewell's plan for control needs this to work - he won't give up.
  2. This point needs to be made and remade by us. No-one else will make it known.
  3. The pre Xmas float was extremely suspicious and even for Green his reasoning (he'd promised the fans it would be 'this year') was alarmingly suspect (never having had a problem breaking promises before or since, nor would a claim of he meant "the financial year" and a float in March been hard to defend)
  4. There will be a ruling that you cannot complain or take them to court or you won't be allowed to play. Blackmail, bribery and bullying is their modus operandi.
  5. That interview is a train crash. Just awful. How he can repeteadly say that he has never lied to fans soon after admitting that he met Whyte "6 times" is staggering. Can he not remember what he has said in the past? "Never" "Once last week" "Only once, last week" (that was not the same week), "Twice" and now "Six times". Yet he's never lied to fans.
  6. I fear not. It plays into the hands of our enemies. Our licence to play was granted on the promise Whyte was not involved. We need Shyte's takeover to be ruled illegal and all our punishments that followed decreed unlawful, as we were the victims of a crime and should have been exempt from SPL and SFA attacks* (or regulations as they call those things that they made up.......) otherwise they will attack again. * I believe this to be true but doubt they'll ever admit it - we need experts and honest men batting for us.
  7. They have the cause (the Whyte links and payments) and already are coming after us.
  8. I notice Regan doesn't explain why they have to accept no moaning or complaining or changing for 3 years, why they have to accept everything his way (or his Master's) NOW. this minute, in the midst of a season.... Bassa. Hypocritical, lying bhassa
  9. Yes I know der Berliner but I prefer to read it on the forum and C&P it from here, so thanks are still warmly extended.
  10. Thanks for these updates der Berliner. I am texting them on to a pal who got stuck trying to get there tonight. Both of us are grateful.
  11. Great to see Luca on. I wrote a long article re his arrival at Ibrox
  12. I thought the Linfield game was on RTV - I can't seem to find a working link though Is anyone watching it OK?
  13. Me too, dependent on: A) who replaces him (at the moment Whyte is making claims ffs)... B) the newcomer revealing who is behind Blue Pitch Holdings, who he is actually working for in other words
  14. I can't keep up anymore forlanssister, sorry for asking what is probably a naive question but would Arif Naqvi be good or bad news? I seem to recall he was a pretty big player
  15. "I've been very fortunate to win 11 titles at this club and that there is the hardest that we've won." A curious claim when you consider the last day win Aberdeen with a team of walking wounded to snatch the title - as one of many examples that look far harder than this season landslide win v £30 a week fourth tier nonentities. I think he protesteth too much - though he must be pissed off at having such a miserable "winning week", to be fair
  16. gooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaal, Temps
  17. It is hard to explain. If he thinks it will reflect anything but badly on the club he is representing (and wants to be welcomed into other countries) then he is just being stupid. Trying to think of an alternative reason - perhaps he is worried he has been taped saying it and wants to get his defence in first? Seems far-fetched but would explain why he felt the need to bring it up. But then again if you add the stuff re diCuntio, it was probably just another soapbox rant....
  18. And how can we be expected to believe a word he says? I know Rangers' fans infamously believe lying owners and CEOs but that has got to stop eventually, surely? "Two hundred times bitten, once shy" and all that.....
  19. I am not saying that Whyte is the owner. I don't think any of us know who is. It is not Green though, despite the Sun's headline saying it is him or Whyte. What is unequivocally clear here is that even as Green stood and made ringing pledges that he would never lie to us and that he'd always call a spade a spade, he was in fact lying through his teeth and calling a spade whatever he thought would best disguise its true nature. "I'm an honest guy". Jesus wept. We sure attract them.
  20. Does this short history below not worry you at all? It seems all too reminiscent of all the lies the last two owners fed us (not that Green is a third successive owner but he is a third successive liar): Green on Whyte: I've never met him ....OK I met him once, last Tuesday ..... (Much later) I have only ever met him once, last Thursday. He never introduced me to D+P, that's a lie ....OK he did introduce me to D+P but it was just a coincidence that we were all in the same restaurant He has never had anything to do with my takeover ....OK I was working as his frontman in a secret and fraudulent takeover but only to con him and ensure "I" got the club. (The "I" still very unclear as he is not the owner) From never met him to I was working with him and lying to and for him.*
  21. True but if they want away for whatever reason/have been tapped up/just fed up - they know it is an easy way out now
  22. Sandaza should sue Tommy the Taxi Driver. And let us all know his taxi number so we can "engage in jolly banter" with the "scallywag".
  23. Not as strange as Sky having Di C*ntio at 25/1
  24. McCoist's side were booed off after being held to a goalless draw by Stirling, affirming Rangers' recent poor form that has seen them win only two of their last five games. And the manager has warned the young players that they must produce more to meet the demands of the Ibrox fans. "I've explained to them - that's what it's like being at Rangers," McCoist said. "You just have to find something from somewhere. "The younger lads, Robbie (Crawford), wee Barrie McKay, Airdy (Fraser Aird), Kyle Hutton, Kane Hemmings and boys like that, for a first season, generally speaking, they have played a lot more games than they would have before. "They have done okay but they need to progress, they need to keep coming along. "That was a disappointing performance and result but - do you know something? - it's a point, a hard-earned point which will hopefully help us over the line." McCoist added: "The people in the stands, we all share their frustration. I can totally understand their frustration and I can't ask for anything more from the stands than they are giving us in terms of support. "I know more than anybody at this football club what it's like to play here and the level of expectancy. "That will not change, although there is absolutely no doubt that the team has changed more dramatically in 12 months than it has done in its entire history. "But the expectancy is still very, very high and I understand that." Midfielder Crawford, understanding fans' frustration, said: "I totally understand their frustration and we all feel it as well. "It hurts us just as much and the fans have the right to voice their opinion. They have stuck by us before and we need to do better for them. "There was a lot of youth and not much experience there but we have all come through the youths together so we should know each other's game and we expect to play better than we did." Embolden section one - this is a disgraceful comment Embolden sectioned two - this is simply not true. it is not "very, very high" expectations to expect a modicum of fitness, of passing ability and even an occasional stab at taking a free kick or corner well. Nor is it anything of the sort to expect to see an improvement over a season instead of the same old, dreary lumpen pish. In another interview he reiterates that "training has not changed in 20 years" (it was 30 years last week) - doesn't he understand that might well be the problem? The terrifying thing is that he thinks he has done well this season and these are just reactions to poor results. He is satisfied with how we have played in most games - hell's teeth he's even hinting he's pleased at this point (as his substitutions during it seemed already to indicate).
  25. Ally McCoist today refuted accusations that his players are lying down on the job after Kyle Hutton's Twitter comments sparked a social media storm. Ally McCoist says attitude is correct In the wake of last weekend's shock home defeat to Annan, the midfielder Tweeted after training that he was heading home to stick on the boxset of American CIA drama Homeland. Furious Ibrox punters perceived that as a lack of effort from a team who been victims of a giant-killing. However, the Rangers boss (left) insists that there is no danger of any of his players showing the wrong kind of attitude â?? although he has warned them about the can of worms the internet can open. "There is not a football team in the world who work 9am-5pm," said McCoist. "The object of the team and training is to make sure they are ready for the next game. I have to tell you that training has not changed all that much in the last 30-odd years. "Every manager and coach's job is not to over-train them or under-train them; it's finding a balance. "If anyone needs reassurance we have coaches and fitness staff, and their job is to prepare the boys for the games. They do that to the best of their ability, and they do it very well. "With the greatest of respect, that is a criticism that would be levelled at me and it is one that I would totally refute. "They do their technical stuff, their gym work, their pool work." While McCoist was irritated by both the performance and the defeat last week, he does not believe he has to be seen to be cracking the whip at Murray Park. There were calls for the players to be brought in to do extra sessions and to forfeit their days off by supporters, but the Ibrox boss believes such tactics are not constructive. "I certainly wouldn't do it for spite," he said. "If I thought it would benefit the team or certain individuals, I would, but I wouldn't do it for needless punishment." McCoist, who will not consider a Twitter ban, added: "He [Hutton] has posed himself a problem, but in a normal week it's a throwaway line that no-one bothers with. "It's commonsense. I would far rather that I asked them to use commonsense than start banning things." Someone should tell him the bit in bold is true re Rangers but not of anyone else. Paul Le Guen tried to modernise it once but we rushed back to a few hours a wek and curries and beers were taken off the banned list. Ally's interview comments re football have been as shockingly bad as his defence of the club has been outstandingly good. A great ambassador is our Ally....but when it comes to training, tactics, transfers, controlling games and talking to the press re such matters - oh dear.
