  1. I thought an article on the Easdales (Scotsman or Herald) mentioned Artemis. Did I hallucinate that?
  2. Full answer on Luca is that he signed a 3 year contract in July 2011 and extended it by a year a month or two ago. So - contracted till July 2015.
  3. Think I'll write "Shakespeare's "Love's Labour Lost" on a yellow folder in black ink and claim I've found the long searched for manuscript. Should be worth a bob or two...as long as no-one looks inside.
  4. The answers would appear to be: a) desperation b) no This makes it worse, not better. Not that names on the deeds would necessarily allay fears anyway. Lets, for argument's sake, say the name is "Sevco Scotland". Wouldn't affect Satan's recent claim in the slightest. However that even that name is not shown in this supposed "clear the air" piece just inflames suspicions.
  5. Not going to be seen online as: To view our exclusive pictures of the title deed documents and to read an in-depth Q&A with Ibrox finance chief Stockbridge – pick up a copy of today's Sunday Mail. So, we need a brave volunteer to actually get, or at least look at, a copy of the hated rag. (I do not have any access to a printed copy, btw, only ones sold near me are always early editions printed the day before and missing the main stories in case rivals pinch 'em.) Here's what is said in the online version: --- RANGERS finance chief Brian Stockbridge opened the Ibrox safe last night to show the title deeds he claims prove Craig Whyte is on a loser. Stockbridge has accused the former owner of holding Rangers to ransom and says he is “deluded” if he thinks he can win back control of Ibrox and Murray Park. In a MailSport exclusive, Stockbridge insisted every penny from the club’s recent £22million share flotation went into Rangers’ coffers and the club is still sitting with “double digit” millions in its bank account. The 39-year-old confirmed former chief executive Charles Green, who resigned last week, is in line for a pay-off, believed to be a substantial six-figure sum, with disgraced fellow director Imran Ahmad also set to trouser a severance package. But Stockbridge is adamant he won’t follow them out the door and is not toxic in the eyes of supporters, who are anticipating another summer of off-field turmoil. He also defended the club’s decision to appoint Deloitte to undertake an in-depth inquiry into the relationship between Green and Whyte when the auditors worked so closely with the former chief executive in the past. Stockbridge revealed he expects the result of their probe within a week and added: “Deloitte are a professional, independent organisation with different teams. It’s not a light-touch investigation.” The Ibrox finance chief also insisted Whyte had no claim on any of the Rangers assets and stated that he didn’t have any shred of a legal case. Stockbridge said: “I have the title deeds for Ibrox, Murray Park and the Albion car park. There is speculation Craig Whyte owns them, or Charles, or that the club doesn’t. It is very easily dispelled. “Most of the rumours circulating are malicious and designed to destabilise. Fans need clarity and to know there is nothing untoward in the company – and there isn’t.” --- I wonder if the cover is a hint of what the photos really are - just folders, no actual names. I doubt the folders on the cover are real either. Just "artists' impressions" of what might be in that "safe" were it actually unlocked. My quote marks are because I suspect the opening lines re the safe being opened to be typical Scottish journalism. i.e. fiction.
  6. I'll second that question. The front cover brings back memories of Green's "Dallas Cowboy e-mail". Nothing is actually shown, everything is claimed.
  7. "Double digit millions" ties in with what Green revealed in his horror STV interview. "Less than 20"...."More than ten?" Pause, calculation, "yes"....so about 11 or 12 then. If it was over 13 they'd say 15, if it was over 15 they'd say "nearly 20". Half the IPO gone I guess. Pre pay offs.
  8. I'll bear that in mind for next week/season. Perhaps summaries every 15 minutes plus goals. Something like that. There may be others in your position.
  9. My pleasure, I wasn't sure if people here really followed it - I'd have made it more detailed if I'd known anyone needed it. "Back in the day" I used to do comms on the IRC. Mad old days when text was the only way many could follow live, mostly great days on the pitch, though.
  10. The thread title may need to be changed as all we are saying is: ""Imran Ahmad has left the club. There will be no further comment.""
  11. Luca G. got a one year extension to his contract about a month ago (probably when/because he turned 18) . Not sure of overall length though, I'll check and get back to you if I find out.
  12. I wonder if Traynor will write about the league Reconstruction again. Apparently - according to someone who listened to BBCeltic's tonight - that is back on the agenda for next season. Sorry I have no details, just a pal bellowing oaths down the phone re us being stitched up again. Did anyone hear it?
  13. Ta for answering. The "dirty linen in public" does worry me and you are certainly correct with your last sentence. In this situation of "no credit", however, I'd rather know, by whatever route, if someone in IA's position at our club was writing such scurrilous bile to a fan site; posing as a semi-literate, short-fused fan while reveling in his own inside knowledge. It is a small part of the crime (by whomsoever is guilty of it) but the sloppiness with which it was done (using "we" and the fake Scotticisms - "neh" !!!) suggests a lack of intelligence that is a worry its own right - unless "the poster" only came online when chemically challenged. PS By the way - he/she/they were right about the running costs though!
  14. I remember when I was in utter fear and horror at Whyte's takeover that the only thing I could cling to was a post on FF from someone claiming to be a Bear who knew the Whyte family and we were to stop panicking. All was going to be OK. There was a line or two that made it seem genuine. It was cleverly done. No doubt it was one of Shyte's lackeys.
  15. Ditto re chatting to mad Tommy, though
  16. Communicate confidentially them to whom in the club? All info seems to go straight to the Sun, Rhebel or BBCeltic in seconds from our club and if not that they might be giving the info to someone working for IA..... I agree though that the situation of a so-far unconfirmed (or denied) allegation of this magnitude is causing high anxiety
  17. Indeed so, Zappa, another summer of being "tangled up in blue" and, as, Dylan so nearly sang in that song: Then we started into dealing with shares And something inside of us died We had to sell everything we owned And froze up inside And when finally the bottom fell out I became withdrawn The only thing I knew how to do Was to keep on keeping on like a bird that flew Tangled up in blue.
  18. Cute name though, puns on "Imran_Gers", in effect. Another morning, another embarrassment. I wonder how Walter will feel being described as one of "a bunch of losers".
  19. Don't know what I did with the first link, apologies. I have fixed it now
  20. The stuff re Traynor will surely bring Traynor out of wherever he is to reply
  21. For those of you with strength still to follow today's goings-ons: http://downloads.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/scotland/scotfoot/scotfoot_20130424-1919a.mp3 Headaches all round, whatever you make of it...... PS not sure how much is about us (very little, I suspect )until about 11 minutes in
  22. The Swifts lead Airdrie 7-1 at HT. I'm fairly new here so haven't had much time to post on onfield matters other than during games. It feels nice....strange....but nice. Now back to crooks and finance....
  23. But they are totally meaningless, have been for quarter of a century
  24. Simply the Best will be on to defend him in a minute. Oh wait, I see...
