  1. Referee's making a lot of errors again. All in one's team favour.
  2. Agreed, though both shuld be a given, I'd say Wallace should've put us ahead there
  3. jeezo that was close. Madison waltzed through us with no trouble at all there to set that up. Well done Wes
  4. When O'Halloran burst past somebody and into the box, it is always exciting. left whoever that was (Considine?) for dead there.
  5. http://rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/five-changes-dons/ RANGERS make five changes for the visit of Aberdeen to Ibrox. Lee Hodson replaces James Tavernier at right-back while Clint Hill comes back from injury into the starting line up to partner Rob Kiernan. In midfield Kenny Miller moves back into midfield and slots in to replace Matt Crooks. He is joined by Jason Holt and Andy Halliday in the middle. The entire front three changes with Joe Garner, Barrie McKay and Michael O’Halloran coming into the side. Those changes mean that Tavernier, Crooks, Harry Forrester, Danny Wilson and Joe Dodoo start from the bench today. Josh Windass misses out against his Dad’s former side once again with a hamstring problem that he picked up at Firhill last weekend. RANGERS: Foderingham, Hodson, Kiernan, Hill, Wallace; Halliday, Holt, Miller, McKay, Garner, O’Halloran Subs: Gilks, Tavernier, Wilson, Forrester, Dodoo, Waghorn, Crooks
  6. Agreed, though I'd add that I fear that "also" could be replaced with "always". Lets hope not, of course.....
  7. That strikes me as a very odd article for a newspaper to run. What is "news" about it, exactly? Yes, I know it isn't really a newspaper but it's still a bit odd.. man who made millions out of TV and Rangers set up a company years ago and we are going to publish his annual returns now vis-a-vis said enterprise- er, why? You'd almost think an agenda was in play here..............
  8. Yes, you are right - we all remember your unshakeable support for our enemies too Back to the topic - it is a "bit of a riddy" that a Bear wind up of the other lot rebounded like this but perhaps, just perhaps, we'll get lucky somehow, someway through it. They would be a very nice irony indeed, unlikely though it be.
  9. He might pay Hodson at the back and Taverner in midfield. Everyone always seems to pick Halliday in their line up but I can't see why, as he has been honking of late. If anyone ever needed a break it is him.
  10. Indeed. Actually the semi final win over the timz (and brilliant though that was even then it was on penalties and they missed an open goal - great though we played) excepted it probably stretched back to cover 2016. I can't recall many good performances this calendar year. A few but not many. Nb I am not for a minute saying we should change manager at this moment in time - I fear that those shouting for that are getting louder but haven't thought things through. As in who do we get and if they are in the same position next year do we again do the same and then who and how long does he get and then.. etc.
  11. Please note, I never used the cup final aftermath and hatred as 'an excuse' for anything. I was answering a post re the players seeming to enjoy playing for us last season but not to look like they are enjoying themselves now. I'm not sure it can be that enjoyable when everyone from those running the sport, to all other clubs their fans and the media hate you. Being attacked on the pitch and nothing happening to the perpetrators, who did it in broad daylight with malice aforethought and were filmed doing so, is quite likely to take the "fun" out of things. Of course it would be enjoyable to give them all a GIRUY by winning...............or at least you'd like to think that'd be the case.
  12. I don't think that English league 1 is below SPFL level. And anyway they haven't failed in the sense that they are being relegated. They might yet end up second for all we know - which is about the level of English league 1. I think "failed to step up to the level of challenging for the SPFL" would be more accurate. Most players in any league are not challenging for the title, though, be it League 1 or SPFL.
  13. I'm not disagreeing overall but I'm not sure if you have the budget difference with Aberdeen accurately here. Does anyone have the figures? I seem to recall ours being bigger but not being "multiples of..." or "a hammer to crack a nut". My memory being what it is, I stand to be corrected...........
  14. Perhaps the never ending hatred they face and being beaten up on the pitch after the cup final with nothing happening to those who assaulted them stopped the enjoyment.
  15. I'm not sure about Senderos but I don't think we'll ever know as, sadly, we are hardly in a position to give him "a run of games" so that he can "adapt".
  16. f@ckit all. Goodnight bears
  17. Jesus effing C. We just passed it into touch under no pressure.
  18. Very worrying. We've struggled to beat teams in the lower half so I guess it's consistent with that, that hearts and Abserdeen and the unmentionables beat us
  19. We knew it would be like this. Not only do our enemies run the game but any referee giving us any decision at all gets hounded relentlessly. If we ever get close to winning the league I expect it to get exponentially worse, hard though that is to imagine. Oh FFS Muirhead's never scored before (I think they said) and now has 2
  20. It was such a nice "goal" too That replay is infuriating - the goal was standing until Hearts players complained
  21. He was the only one of ours you mentioned in the initial post, though
  22. OH FFS....Offside
  23. WTF did they talk about at HT? We are just as bad - if not even worse
