  1. If his deal is up in a year i would imagine he is still on his original £18k pw one, he wants a new one but this is Celtics way of saying they ain't paying players £1m a year anymore. Possibly. Ledley and Brown were on £25k, Commons is by far their best player, he will want to be on similar.
  2. You know the tims are desperate when these stupid stories are fed to their puppets in the media.
  3. 5 at the back this evening. All the favourites picked. I am sure he will say his selection was right after our inevitable victory. Of course i disagree.
  4. The deal when he signed was £500 a week more than what we offered him, i think it was £18k, has he signed a new one since?
  5. Politics and football should never mix but how does one get away from it, there is no avenue or arena to spew any political bile so the football stadium is chosen. On the Israel flag, I remember seeing my first Israel flag way back in the 80s, it was the star that attracted me to it and forced me to ask my dad what it was. It's not a new phenomenon at Ibrox.
  6. No mate, we don't. Merlin interviewed the man you are talking about and was shown cast iron proof that MF had nothing to do with Rangers account. You may however find out whoever was in charge of our account had similar motive but I don't believe it was who you think it was mate.
  7. That was a very very strong Under 20s team. Shocking result. Chasing the league already after one match. That's not good.
  8. The first two goals were outstanding pieces of play, the first one especially. Hearts have been on the up since last Xmas, the Inverness cup tie apart, they have looked pretty decent and looking at their squad, they have actually improved it despite being relegated. Credit to their set up. They have some cracking kids coming through. McHattie, Walker and Carrick to name just 3.
  9. I was asked to leave a financial company in Edinburgh because i was caught with paramilitary pictures on my computer.
  10. Depends which fans you mean, the boycotters or the supporters.
  11. No stumble to anyone who can read mate. It's probably closer to a fact than what i actually feel mate. Certainly whilst Ally is boss we will be nowhere near them mate. Even a domestic trophy is light years away at the minute. I don't think we are as bad as you say mate, i honestly think we have some alright players, no world beaters, no class acts to speak of but we have players good enough to be easily the 2nd best team in the country. Our budget should certainly dictate that anyway.
  12. What good? I said the players are better than they are showing, it's still a every average squad with many passengers and yet still better than all the other teams in the country. Praise should probably be given to the board by the Ally defenders for backing their man so much but questions should be asked of the board by those who expect a club run well as to why they are giving such an inept manager so many tools to play with. Let's be honest, Stevie Wonder could have built the best squad in the country given the same budget as Ally and his buddies. It's not exactly an achievement, it has merely hastened our next financial collapse. Coisty has took average to decent players and made them utterly mediocre.
  13. We have the players to comfortably finish 2nd in the SPL. This is not as bad a squad as their product on the park or past humiliations show, they are far better than that. Our biggest handicap is our management team and i use that term extremely loosely.
  14. I have to disagree to an extant mate, we were winning and beating decent teams. Competing with top European sides. That's all stopped now. Fans are scunnered. Totally scunnered, some yea because of the board but IMO most about the standard of our play and lack of success.
  15. That's funny because I think the exact opposite, how anyone can claim the board are to blame is utter madness. Most normal everyday fans couldn't care less about the board, they are football fans. Only on the online community is tier this minority talk about boycotts and unrest due to the board. I personally away from the forum don't know anyone who has stopped going because of the board but I know plenty who can't stomach any more if McCoist.
  16. We were winning meaningful trophies back then and playing in European competition. Nothing in the last 10 years has come close to the dross Ally has served up since he took over, nothing.
  17. We would have been finished for real. End of story.
  18. People don't want to watch McCoists brand of non football. It's a turnoff. He has drove more fans away than any alleged dodgy board could ever dream of doing.
  19. The quality of player is not our problem and you know that fine well Rab!
  20. And if we couldn't sell them we were stuck with numerous players on £20k + a week. That would have really killed us. The fact is Green and co could not afford to keep the likes of Whittaker, Naismith or McGregor, not even for a few weeks never mind a month or two to find a potential buyer. That would have been genuinely gambling with our future.
  21. I hope the stadium has been fixed since last season. It is so outdated and looking tatty in parts. Badly needs a makeover.
