I doubt he will be any more unsettled than he was last season. He's been away for months and doesn't seem the type who wants to settle or integrate here. He probably doesn't even speak English yet either. My mate was telling me about his families loving conditions from when the management team visited his family home. He said they were extremely poor and the place was like the slums. One would think the kid would grasp such a chance at Rangers with both hands. -
What's the German for bampottery?
-
Thousands of tickets still left for the Hearts game lads.
-
Why would it not already be settled? The kid left months ago. If that fee is still not settled then i would guess it's more a case of us wanting to get what is owed to us rather than being desperate for a few sheckles.

By Chris McLaughlin BBC Sport Rangers are facing a fresh financial crisis after failing to convince city investors to sign up to a new share issue, BBC Sport has learned. The club issued a document to potential and existing investors with a view to raising up to £10m through an investment plan by the end of August. However, they have so far failed to get the uptake they were looking for. Rangers' April review Business needs to raise up to £30m over three years New share issue planned for autumn 2014 Cuts of £2m have already been made with other savings likely Plan to make the business sustainable by season 2015/16 Aim to make team Scottish Premiership winners by 2017 And the Championship club says it now hopes to launch a £4m issue via all existing shareholders. "The company is considering a possible equity issue in which all existing shareholders would be eligible to participate," read a statement to the Stock Exchange. "Support is being sought from institutional investors to underwrite the possible equity issue. Discussions are ongoing and there can be no certainty of the outcome of these discussions." Prior to the announcement of a scaled down share issue, potential city investors were being asked to buy in at around 25p per share - the current price is around 30p a share. The presentation document, aimed at selling a stake in Rangers, highlights plans for the club to be financially sustainable by the end of season 2015-2016 through restructuring the business in a strategic three-year plan. The paper also mentions "the significant revenue opportunity" that would come with the club being back at the top of Scottish football, and points towards potential revenue streams that would follow from competing in the Champions League. A timetable of events within the document promises to reveal details on 25 July - but that deadline has now passed due to the lack of interest. Rangers manager Ally McCoist and chief executive Graham Wallace Wallace (right) set out plans for a share issue in April As part of his 120-day review published in April, chief executive Graham Wallace said he would look at a new rights issue later in the year "when the climate will be better for us". The club's finances have been under the spotlight for some time and earlier this year the club secured short-term loans totalling £1.5m from shareholders Sandy Easdale and George Letham. Those loans must be paid back by the end of August but questions are now being asked about the club's ability to meet that deadline. The situation is reaching a critical stage as fans continue to vote with their feet and their wallets. Supporters remain split over their backing of the board and it is understood less than 20,000 season tickets have been sold, compared to the 38,000 sold last year - figures that are adding further strain on finances.

Agreed yet i am interested to know what these new costs are and whether they are justifiable, necessary or whatever.
-
I think it does. It may have been money that needed spent to keep the club open for business or it may have went down a black hole.
-
We will see in these accounts what they done with that i hope.

We are not even losing half of that, no way mate. With turnover averaged at £19m for the last 2 seasons and expenditure at around £24m. It works out around £400k a month loss.
-
I couldn't agree more mate!
-
Oh i can work that out alright mate, we will see right through it if they are dickying it up!
-
I am sure we worked it out a few months back, i don't believe it's anywhere near £1m any more mate. Maybe £500k at the most. Still preposterous.
-
That sounds about right. What a mess. I pray they are not hoping they can carry on like that and swan into the Champions League and all the riches that go with that! Lol. We have no chance. Indeed, they have no chance. I, myself will be like a dog with a bone if the next set of figures ain't to my fancy.

The board don't have a clue about the football side of things, not one single clue. They are like my 8 year old son, they see us winning and think everything is ok. -
Are we not running at a quarter of a million pounds loss every month. E5m may just get us over the line for this season and then the begging bowl will be out again in 10 months time. I do wonder at times just how hard it is to run our club properly. You could cut E5m off our staff/player wage bill and still have the 2nd highest wage bill in the country. Frighening.

I disagree mate with no hard feelings. He isn't doing enough for me. Bombing up and down the flank certainly isn't enough. More often than not he just gives up possession. -

Black is out of contract in the summer I believe, I don't think he has earned a new one. Sadly agree about Jig unfortunately. -

I agree with that but he's hasn't really kicked a ball since last Xmas, that's a worry. Smith for example was excellent when he came in for him and even contributed a few goals. His delivery is far better than Lees I think. -

Our goal was a cracker, good build up and excellent finish. Body's goal which was disallowed reminded me Of the old Boyd, it was a belter of a finish. Turning his man like he wasn't there and shooting before he even completed his turn. Take Black and Jig out of our team and the whole dynamics will change. -

Not really manager related but I am really worried about Lee Wallace, he is a shadow of the player he was when he signed. Something ain't right with him. He is fast becoming a headless chicken -
Aye but other teams dae it so it must be awe right. Seriously though, it's an horrendous tactic and I couldn't care if Barcelona or Munich do it, I don't like it and don't agree with it. It just invites pressure onto us and more opposition players attacking us much like playing 5 at the back. As for Bell, he is what he his, a bottom 6 goalie. One we chose to give £8k a week to. I don't think the players back thing is about conceding goals as much as it's about seizing that chance to counter when the other team think they are the ones attacking. That is our chance to hit them on the break and catch them unaware.
