  1. It's not mate, it's a training complex for our first team which has an area in it for the youth department to work out of. It is not a youth academy at all.
  2. Of course it does, fans have been banging on about change for years but this board have shown no desire to do it. I don't think they know what to do and i am being deadly serious. Chuckles told us the board were clueless in terms of football and knew nothing about the game. That much is now obvious.
  3. Under no circumstance should our club ever ever think about selling or leasing back or whatever our training ground. Every big club needs one, and we are no different. It's ours and ours only. The day we start contemplating selling off our training ground is the day we should close our doors for good. When that day comes we will no longer be the football club we should be. The rest is pointless.
  4. I disagree, strongly in fact. The players were and are there but we have neither the brains nor ability to sell them on properly or to develop them further into first team regulars bar the very odd exception. McCormack, Adam and Hutton, 3 players who came through Auchenhowie with career transfer fees totalling around £40m. The sad bit is our club have only received less than a quarter of that. Other clubs are benefitting rather than us. Our club need to do more to utilise the talent that comes through, through sales and development. I think we all know that isn't going to happen though.
  5. Can't help but feel he has damaged our reputation somewhat in both countries. Australia especially.
  6. No player worth their salt who cares about their career would come near us whilst he is manager.
  7. 21000 non renewals didn't make them act. I am not sure what else the rebels can do mate. I just don't see this board bowing to anything the SoS or the UoF do. There were rumours last week of King having private talks with the main shareholders but that seems to have all gone quiet since.
  8. No worries Craig.
  9. Right, so they are still going to give the club and board their money anyway. Seems rather pointless to me tbh. Starve the board of a few quid for a few months, i am sure they can wait. In the meantime the club suffers and becomes a public embarrassment with all this infighting. It won't be a case of winning the fight, it will be a case of this board having done enough, job done and they move, when they are ready. It won't be a victory for the rebels, far from it. They can easily be moved on now though by buying them out but there doesn't seem to be an appetite to get that job done for some reason. Maybe the rebels should just admit they can't afford to buy the club but will persevere with a mudslinging boycott of the club and to hell with the club they profess to love and team they claim to support in the meantime. As i said before, make them an offer they cannot refuse or just get back to supporting the club. Aim your guns at our real enemies.
  10. I must be losing track of all these fans groups, are they not boycotting the club as part of the Union of Fans?
  11. Big Smillies truck. Lol. Nacho and Bomber there, Chugg and Craigy boy obviously as well. Was that Dingwall under the brolly next to Bomber walking up the road? Looked a decent turnout but it won't make a blind bit of difference. I bet most of those folk will be at Ibrox for the first game if the season.
  12. Why do the Rangers family have a horrible habit of complicating an easy sport? Club and fans alike. Why does everything have to be over thought? Keep it basic, keep it simple, keep it easy.
  13. Was it not yourself who posted the Amazing Legacy thread? I bet there is not one dig or negative post in that entire thread over the coming days and weeks.
  14. But then what if he is offered this bonus every year? Are we forever going to be in debt to him having to pay him for 2 or 3 years even after he has left? I am not a fan of any kind of deferrals at all.
  15. Him bleating about spending more money to compete with inferior opposition or Rangers qualifying for Europe?
  16. If i was CEO i would do everything in my power to change or cancel any onerous contracts, if i was unable i would make the fans aware of this. i wouldn't allow myself to be a scapegoat for others failings but i would make sure fans knew legally i done everything in my power to change things. Communication is key, fans must know we are trying. For me the most ridiculous costs were on the playing side, i want to see a big change in that. Allys budget should have been cut by some margin. We will see if that has happened. We know his salary cut has for the meantime saved us a fortune, has his coaches who offer nothing also cut their wages in line with our current financial situation? We should know. I believe we should still see some difference in the accounts mate, surely they are trying, we can't continue to live outwith our means. It's just impossible.
  17. I wouldn't count on Ally being able to qualify. In fact i would put my money on him getting the begging bowl out next summer, through his mouth, begging for tens of millions in order to compete with the Motherwells, Aberdeens and again Hearts who are spending next to nothing in comparison to ourselves.
  18. Thank you, i thought that was obvious to be honest.
  19. Lol. What on earth are you talking about? I don't want to see bits of paper with stats, figures, analysis on it! I want to see it on the pitch, in our play Craig! To be fair to myself fans have been listening to our players, coaches and managers talking talking and more talking for years and rarely does what they say ever happen or ring true. We're doing this, we're doing that, we're going to do this, do that. It get's boring after a while, fans switch off and don't want to hear it.
  20. Outstanding work.
