  1. What is there to be positive about? As WGS has stated, I am positive when talking about subject matter meriting such an outlook.
  2. League 1 is a considerable step up from SFL 1 though. He's not a great player but I'd have him over Daly. He should have been the main striker for the last 2 years. His development has been hindered by his manager.
  3. The irony is that what you posted there is the very definition of what you are. Funny how you can read my posts when I'm on ignore.
  4. McKay didn't play last season, Hutton is 23, Crawford and Gallagher also hardly played last season. For the nth time, we regularly played 2 youngsters last season in the third tier of Scottish football. It is disgraceful for a club with no money that needs to rely on youth if it is to ever recover. I criticise our older, ineffective players like Daly and McCulloch. Kris Boyd though he would be a decent addition to the squad. At no point have I ever said we should be playing no older players, do keep up.
  5. Yes he scored for Mexico, which is making me think we might get a few mill for him. That must explain why he's not playing for Honduras anymore.
  6. That doesn't negate the point I made.
  7. It's always been evident that you have never ever had a clue what you're talking about but I'll break it down for you. When people advocate a youth strategy they are not looking for 11 young players, they are simply looking for some youth players. Older, experienced players will always be a part of this, as they have been in most examples of successful youth teams. I don't mean to be harsh here, but you are so regularly off point that I feel I shouldn't have to bother justifying myself to you.
  8. Can anyone advise who sanctioned the signing of a player who can't make the subs bench of the Honduras national side? 'The Famous Glasgow Rangers' Oh how they laugh
  9. There is more chance of DB talking sense than Nerlinger becoming our DOF. A big name random name propagated at season ticket renewal time is not a new concept.
  10. Brian Laudrup, how can a club that now idolises a useless hammer thrower like Lee McCulloch recently have enjoyed the salient ingenious intricacies of Brian Laudrup? He might have been a tad down from his brother, but I'd say both are two of the all time greats.
  11. Lets add this too for the celebration and Laudrup, my god, my idol.
  12. He was finished when he played for us, much like Jonas Thern, Thern was the real player of the two, Unfortunate we didn't get more from him. Can anyone find the Thern goal v Celtic! PS - If in once upon a time land Nerlinger does join us, perhaps we should get him in a trois player/manager/DOF role, for he would be a vast improvement on all fronts. PSS - found the goal Worth also adding and I essentially have a heart attack whenever we score v the ******** or in Europe. These are the moments I live for.
  13. Well c'est la vie. Tomorrow I would say is a nightmare to predict. Iran v Argentina - I would say is impossible to predict. The victor is obvious but difficult to say the score. Nigera v Bosnia is an interesting one. Nigeria are absolutely awful. Place your bets lads.
  14. The Premiership is lacking on all fronts. For a while the argument was they had the strongest top four, that was perhaps valid for a period but La Liga has proven vastly superior on that front now, plus I'd easily take Bayern and BVB over any team in England. Then you have the argument that the premiership has the best general standard. Well, wrong again, out with the top 5 or 6 the Premiership is atrocious to be honest. Teams like West Ham and Stoke are absolutely dire. Really tragically unwatchable and playing 19th century football. I think the fact that the Europa League gets dominated by La Liga sides speaks volumes.
  15. In fairness Italy haven't had a squad befitting of their ability for 8 years now but it didn't stop them getting to the final of the Euros. I wouldn't write them off but I'd rather see Uruguay go through because they play better football and Suarez is the best player in the world after Messi and Ronaldo (perhaps after Iniesta too)
  16. I was so close for going to 2-1 Ecuador, I will rage if this is the final score.
  17. Anyone watching this game? Should have maybe gone for more goals here.
  18. He is letting us down. He is our one hope, he is not one of us. Do you think if you or I had his collateral this would even be up for debate? I would lie over and die for Rangers
  19. King is completely irrelevant and best forgotten about. There's far more effort applied to arguments on here than there is such effort applied by him to buy into us.
  20. I've not done anything more about the top. I won't let it lie though, I will never give up a fight . Last week I ordered the new Chelsea top with Fabregas at the back, got an error saying it was declined. Ordered it again 5 mins later. Noticed on my phone an hour later both orders had gone through. Knowing that SD are incompetent idiots and that personalised tops get no refund, I promptly asked for a refund on one of the orders. I got a quick email back saying it was cancelled and I'd get a refund in 5 days. Of course being so ignorant as they are both tops arrived in the same parcel, of course with me being charged for both delivery on two separate orders for the same package. After about 5 emails to SD, and no refund after 5 days, the penny finally dropped and they were ever so kind as to offer me a refund if I sent the top back along with proof of postage. Despite the fact this was a cancelled order with a promised 5 day refund that had elapsed. The only reason I bother with SD is they seem to have a monopoly on football tops in the UK. In future I will avoid them wherever possible, incompetency doesn't even start to explain their inadequacy and it doesn't say much for Mike Ashley.
  21. France do look shit hot. I'm not enjoying this tournament but am enjoying their expansive play. They haven't had the greatest of tests so far, though if I recall correctly that's Switzerlands first competitive defeat in about 2 years. France have never been a favourite team of mine, Holland, Spain and Italy have always been the nations I've routed for (given that Scotland and Northern Ireland never amount to anything). But I'm all for teams that can play the way the game is intended. Zappa - does goal difference matter? IE if someone predicted 4-2 France would they be at an advantage to me predicting 2-1 France? PS - I think by the law of averages a real 4-3 nail biter type game will crop up. It helps if there's two half decent teams with a weak defence. EG I can randomly recall a quality 3-3 match with Yugoslavia and Slovenia that was an excellent match. There seems to be less of that now. Zlatko Zahovic . 35 goals for Slovenia from midfield!
