I really couldn't give a fuck whether I win a football debate or not, so you can claim yourself a wee victory, you sad little man. -

Money doesn't come into it. It's a matter of attitude. Setting up a team to play possession football, keeping the ball on the deck, encouraging attacking play etc, costs the same amount as setting up a team to play kick and rush football, reverting to defensively-minded tactics when pressurised etc. -

Edinburgh Hibernian plc owned pubs and restaurants as well as the football club. That was what I meant by the 'football part'. I'm no expert in the legal terminology of it all, so will leave that to someone who does. There are sufficient posters keen to demonstrate that old adage of a little knowledge being a dangerous thing.

DJ: Rangers investment can't come at price of historic Ibrox identity
Rangersitis replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
It shouldn't be changed, even if it was for £40m. -
Not quite. Edinburgh Hibernian plc went into receivership(administration) and Farmer bought the football club part of the company, what became Hibernian Football Club Limited, from the receiver of Edinburgh Hibernian plc.

If training at Murray Park makes that much of a difference to Lee Robertson's game, why are the Rangers players not getting the same benefit?

He couldn't build a team worth watching when up against semi-professional teams. There is little to suggest that this will all change as the opposition gets better. -

Yet they didn't in the previous one.

To make them look foolish? The last installment had Scottish Cups getting removed for years where there was no Rangers win, yet it wasn't picked up. As was pointed out by another poster, leaving Glasgow at 5pm to attend a dinner date in Yorkshire just doesn't ring true.

Point me to a post of mine where I said he is the worst manager. Just one will do. Once you have failed to do that, address the point I made without that rambling nonsense.

Allowing himself to be bribed by Green with one million shares at a penny a pop, together with the clumsy attempts to hide his lucrative salary makes it difficult to get behind this 'one of us' talk. He has been useful to the board/investors, but it's now a case of them being unable to sack him even if they wanted to. They simply can't afford to pay him off. -
Aye, because they all work under equal conditions and budgets.

Malky Mackay and Iain Moody investigated by FA...........
Rangersitis replied to ian1964's topic in General Football Chat
They are unlikely to receive any FA charges as they steer clear of private correspondence. -
