McCoist won't allow anyone to get in the way of a Challenge Cup triumph.

This is where the arguments of those critical of the 'anti-board' groups fall down. It is the board/investors who are charged with bringing money into the club. The easiest way is by using a fanbase which has shown previously that it will dig deep. Managing to alienate them is some feat, and one which hasn't gone unnoticed by the city. They will be certainly be attempting to do something behind the scenes, but it will most likely be extremely unpopular. Jack will be busily lining up something to deflect the flak.

The more games that people miss, the less inclined they will be to return. Throw in a televised match, and the lure of Ibrox will have even less of a pull.

Keith Jackson: Taking a risk is part of life in football...

Even if there has been a renegotiation of the terms, there will never be a good time for them to repay those sums. It's like a householder using one credit card to pay off another - all it is doing is digging a deeper hole. -
The moneymen didn't envisage this when they put their plans together. They will be praying for home ties in the cups to bring in extra revenue before the end of the year, because other than possibly Hibs, the league fixtures won't generate any excitement.

He can kid himself on all he likes, but there are others who are preferred in his position simply because they are better than him. One could perhaps see his point if he/the club had been turning down multiple bids from the English Premier, but that hasn't happened.

Racing Genk have tonight confirmed him as their new manager.

There are hundreds of clubs involved in their competitions, and each one of them employs a match secretary to ensure that all regulations are adhered to. Aside from you being pissed off that Celtic were reinstated, why should UEFA be expected to wipe the arse of professional outfits?

That was me being polite. -
Like every other club which has benefitted from one of these administration errors, the club would have thanked it's lucky stars with not so much as a backward glance.

That wasn't what he was expecting! Well done, FS.

If they report that there is no case to answer, that will be levelled at them anyway.

Yes, the EC are obliged to investigate, regardless of where the complaint comes from.

It was the MND angle I was referring to. As you say, if it's raising awareness then it is having the desired effect. -

Whatever it was, he will have an arrangement in place to get it all back, and then some! -

I would be surprised if many people in the UK even know what ALS stands for. -
What's new? Isn't this all from the beginning of the year?

Indeed! I distinctly remember Dublin Tom being lauded from surprising quarters for doing his big interview with Craig Whyte. It's a funny old game.
