Spot on. As transport improves, the UK becomes a smaller place. The steady decline of Scottish football will gather pace over the next few years.

Out of interest, why was last night's tie not played on the scheduled date? -

I expect the team to help the SPFL out of this delicate situation. -
This is already happening. Anybody who has travelled on the trains at the weekend will have seen the hordes of fans from Scotland who travel down to watch English matches.

Anything to be read into the Easdales withdrawing from the bidding for Ferguson Shipbuilders in order to back Jim McColl? Is that why Jack was involved?

There certainly is a pattern. It involves me putting you straight time after time, followed by you indulging in innuendo without having the cojones to either come out and say what you really mean, or, like I have urged you to do on a few occasions now, report me to admin. -
Unless you have a cunning plan, there is only one part of that scenario which can be influenced by the Rangers support. There is far too much obsessing done over them and their actions.

Ok, apologies, and thanks for pointing that out. It should still have been arranged for December. -

Pity that he didn't care to enlighten everyone as to what he is referring to. Still, his pal will be grateful for the public support. -

Rule G7 states: There is no mention of precedent, so where does that spurious argument come from? -

I don't know what date you are referring to or whether a game was proposed for then. Do you have further info? In any case, I still don't see how that has any bearing on the current situation. Rangers agreed to postpone a match against St. Mirren in November 07 to accommodate a Scotland game and then never played in until January even when there was an earlier midweek free. This was followed by a request to put back a match against Gretna in order to rest up prior to playing Lyon, again this could have been arranged for ten days later, but wasn't. They also agreed to postpone the Ne'erday game against Celtic when there was absolutely no need to as that lot were at it with their Phil O'Donnell pish. To compound it all there was the SC game v East Stirling put off due the Ibrox pitch being waterlogged - unbelievable given the money that had been spent on it over the years and the impending backlog of games. Don't even get me started on Smith, his tactics and his team selections from then! -
The second link didn't work for me, and while there are issues surrounding public funding of such an event, attempting to link a republican shindig in Ardoyne to likely voting patterns in a Scottish Independence poll is a bit of a stretch.

Everyone who continues to fund those in charge. Although they have the right to do so, they must accept that their ongoing support provides the board/investors with a legitimacy to do as they see fit.
-
I tend to agree with you on this point. The days of the directors/club staff being in tune with the rank and file of the support are long gone. It may be a bit off-topic, but looking at your points above, where would you stand on the formation of an FC Rangers of Glasgow type set-up?

What happened in 2008 that is related to the postponement of a domestic match due to players being on international duty? -
Is that the German spelling?

It can't be quantified until they are all removed from their positions. Wallace's financial report wasn't vague by accident.

I see. Anything is possible at the moment.
