  1. It's just sad that we have got to the point that many people have spoken about before, Ally staying in the job long enough for fans to start forgetting about his status as a player and turn to resentment because of his time as manager. Sad but true.
  2. I have absolutely no idea, as much as I've thought about Ally leaving my thoughts have ended there. Can't imagine who would replace him, this is probably because I can't imagine who would have the final say on picking his replacement.
  3. Just watched a snippet of Ally's presser, no detail but said GW was positive the club would be in a position to move forward in the next 10 days-fortnight. Can't read too much into that but can only hope....again.

    Sdm

I apologise if this has already been covered. I didn't mind the jibes and slagging that we got at the time of admin because it was what it was and I would probably have stuck the knife in if our main rivals went through "a time of difficulty" to put it politely but as it went on and with no figurehead in the public eye to take the blame, we as fans were the aim for the blame. Pay your taxes, don't spend outwith your budget and so on.....we don't have control over that, we pay our money and assume the powers at be were there to look after our money. Does anyone have any hope that SDM will act upon Whytes latest court date? Is there any chance that a ruling will be made for shareholders to be compensated? (I realise Whyte can't pay). I dislike using the word victim but I would get some comfort if everybody outside of the Rangers family knew that that's what we were.

    Buy Rangers

I am going to add to this, 25% is the 3rd goal after 5 and 10. After that 25% is reached RF doesn't stop, we don't cancel our D/D, it is up to the members to decide where we go from there. Happy being listened to then we could vote for funding something for the club but there is nothing stopping the members deciding that they want to buy more and more shares. It doesn't stop at 25%.

    Buy Rangers

A figure head would be great and I am sure there will be a few to choose from but first we have to show people that we are serious, we have to attract a figure head. If someone believed in us so much as a support they would have come out already and lead the way, we have to do this as fans and when a prominent member of the rangers family decides to spearhead it and give us a boost, it will be because they want to, not because we asked them to. We have to realise that we cannot depend on others anymore. At the end of the day it is us fans that pay for the club, we follow in numbers, we remember the joys and we remember the defeats more than anyone else. It's time we realised that WE are our saviours, if anyone wants to jump on board it's a bonus.

    Buy Rangers

I signed up to Buy Rangers last night, so with BR and RF I now have a foot in both camps. Not only do I feel great that I'm helping both of these vehicles that aim to benefit our club, I can now say to friends, hand on heart, look at them both, if you can back them both great but at least back one. It's a team game on the park and God knows we need a team effort off it too. Tannochsidebear makes a great point, regardless of the subject involved, all of us have seen stuff go viral worldwide and attract money to a good cause. We can't do that within the Rangers Family? I think we can.
  8. I am a member of RF, it suits me. But I would be very happy to agree to any temporary union between the groups that would have us heard and be noticed. Whoever held the proxy, don't know how it works but I would be in favour. After that the groups go back to achieving their individual goals (which all benefit the club). At the very least I would hope the 3 groups could get together, find one thing they all agree on and start from there. After all, we want the same thing. I don't know what's gone on before or what tensions remain so I might be a naive dreamer.
  9. This isn't a fact but if you had your eyes closed you would think Alex Rae had a bit of Belgian heritage in him Apologies if it's been posted already. Didn't know which thread to put it in.

  11. My thoughts exactly!!!! Just joined today too and by the rate of the posts I think he or she is going to make a shift of it. I'll have to check back when I get finished and prepare myself for shock and awe
  12. There is a poster on the LSE forum this morning claiming to have inside knowledge. Unfortunately until someone proves beyond reasonable doubt that they are doing what is best for us and then comes out with their version of the truth, I'm inclined to take all info with a pinch of salt.
