  1. Man Utd were quite good last night.
  2. When do Wolves play Villa? Beale to get SG the sack? Will he make it that far?
  3. You implied that it was solely down to money. But if you now think it's money and a good coach, then fair enough. I don't think throwing loads of cash at every new manager is sustainable, though. I'm much more content with a DoF model. If they keep spending £20m a year then a trip to the third division is in store - if we had fair governance.
  4. Fair enough. It didn't look like there was anything second half!
  5. "DJRFCWINDASS"? A real legend. @DJRFCGVB
  6. I didn't see the game, but going by the highlights, Wright looked our most threatening player.
  7. They spent £15m, £20m and £14m prior to Ange's £18m over the last two seasons. If you think it's solely down to money, that Lennon could play the same way with Ange's players, then I can't help you. (I actually don't have a problem with them spending £20m a year. Let them get on with it. It'll come back to haunt them.) There is a real fitness/injury issue at the moment - outwith having 3/4 perma-crocked players. Our fitness was supreme under SG and Milsom, with the same players. We should see about replacing our fitness/conditioning coach - it's not as if the football is intense! We don't even need a managerial "Jesus". A good coach is enough; just someone that can implement a style. I don't think that's outwith the realms of possibility.
  8. Yes, injuries will continue. There will always be injuries. I don't believe the players "don't want to be here", I just think they're badly out of form. A fresh managerial approach will rejuvenate them. (Although, saying that, I do want to see the back of Kent, so I'd let him go...) I don't think a new manager needs "backed". That's the benefit of having a DoF. We can continue to assemble the team regardless of manager. Managerial appointments should be the remit of the DoF. Was Gerrard Wilson's first appointment? It wasn't Pedro was it... !? "Top drawer" managers are few and far between, but solid coaches that can implement a style are not some mythical creatures. What about the nobody they appointed? He didn't even have the right coaching badges!
  9. A new head coach will do. The rest is fine.
  10. We need a new fitness coach. And a set-piece coach. And a new coach.
  11. When you've been depressed at the performances for months, but then people start to come around:
  12. I think you're projecting. Change the manager to bring about a fresh approach from the team and things look better.
  13. Yes, there were a few calling for that at the time. Were you one of them? The trouble was he had no managerial experience. He's still only had 3 months.
  14. Rangers 1 - 0 Livingston FGS Colak
  15. Ugh - dull game, dull write-up. Correct Result (1 pt): Everyone who entered. Correct Number of Rangers Goals (1pt): - FGS (2 pts): - Correct Score (3 pts): - Latest Standings:
  16. I thought I had a 1-0 before I changed it! This makes it more bearable.
  17. Rangers 3 - 0 Dundee FGS Morelos
  18. That's convenient. You can now keep showing your ignorance on the matter.
  19. Wolves are expected to ask QPR permission to speak to Michael Beale!
  20. Ooft!
  21. And he'll have basically another pre-season in which to implement his style. Perfect. Has O'Halloran got a club... ?
  22. That's irrelevant. It's a perfect opportunity regardless of what move you make, because you've got another pre-season, out of nowhere.
