I was going to change my GPL prediction, adding a goal or two to my original 1-0 score. I think I'll leave it... (I changed the FGS.)

I'm delighted to see King and McCann get well-deserved starts, but the rest of that line-up, middle to front, is so uninspiring.

I disagree. Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Leeds, Southampton, Tottenham, Brighton, Arsenal, Brentford, Crystal Palace etc., all play better football than anyone in Scotland.

I think he was playing in a double pivot in that game, with Davis. You'd expect one of them to move further forward in that situation.

I think it's a waste to play Lundstram back there - not that he doesn't do a good job when required. I like a back-three, but I'd prefer we played King, Goldson and Sands - or Davies, if fit.

Any word on Lowry?

Isn't McCann a #6? If so, he'll be replacing Lundstram. Unless we're going with a double pivot, which everyone thinks is unnecessary in these games.

This squad should be winning the league - or at least pushing them. With this manager, nothing.

All true, but it doesn't refute my stance.

The squad certainly has issues, but I maintain that it is 'fine'. A better - not even better, just different, in terms of tactical approach - gets more out of this squad.
