I disagree. We've signed a lot of young, generally inexpensive, players with high potential. He also oversaw the clear out of over 14 players this season alone. Players like Jefté, Igamane, Nsiala, Diomande, Barron and Cameron are the sort of high potential signings we should be making. I'm also a big fan of Kasanwijro, who unfortunately got injured on international duty with the Netherlands. There's no need to throw the baby out with the bathwater.

I think he's made a number of good signings, with the exact profile of player we need going forward. He's also been ruthless in offloading all the previous duds, reducing the squad and wage bill which was necessary. I've argued for a while that we now need to see the acquisition of quality first-team signings, which his clear out should now allow. Punting him would be short-sighted, IMO.

Nils Koppen should and will remain in place. He has been an excellent appointment, IMO.

I hope we'll have some news on a DoF first, before Russell Martin is announced... I'm also not expecting this 'war chest' everyone is looking for. The biggest benefit to the takeover, for me, is the leadership it brings, which will allow us to implement our plans without getting pulled this way and that by different board members.

You fully expect to come up against good sides at this stage of the competition, but that's no excuse for the ultra-defensive approach from Barry in all his European games. Just defending and hoping for a lucky break is no way to approach any game at this level - and it didn't even work, as we were battered from the first minute. GvB was poor overall, but we could play in Europe; Clement was poor, but we could play in Europe. This, to me, proves why Barry should be nowhere near the Rangers job.

They're converting their loans to shares so we don't need to pay them off.
