To be fair, he was unplayable for large portions of 55 season and on our run to EL Final. Not bad for a player of Blackpool or Wigans level.

Same could be said for Davie Cooper in early to mid 80s. Can't remember anyone saying he was a bad player.

I wouldn't know. Just saying that we are still incurring costs associated with NEH. I believe the external jumbo screen is being installed, don't know if those costs were already in the £12M already spent on the project. For the record, I'm OK with NEH but feel it cost more than it should have and I criminally underutilised. Hopefully we can begin to attract more band / artists to the venue

It is an asset on the balance sheet (at £12.2M IIRC) but with the NEH not completed, costs are still being added.

The issue is, goalkeeper apart, most areas are coming to the top of our to do list ; Left back Centre Back Midfielder who can dictate a game Wide right player Wide Left player (if we don't sign sima) Centre forward or two I'd say replacing Tav is bottom of that list

In my younger days, if Rangers weren't playing, I'd go along and watch Bo'ness United or go to local games usually East Stirlinghire, Dunfermline, Hearts and on the odd occasion Hibs. This would be with my Rangers supporting mates, or with Hibs / Hearts, with my Hibs/Hearts supporting mates. Now, I'll still wonder down to see Bo'ness on occasion and liked taking the boys to Rangers B games when they were in the Lowland League. Wouldn't think about going to any other teams games now to be honest.

Weren't we aiming for £1M per year profit? Nice to see it making money, but heard the costs are still increasing (over £12M) and that the guy running NEH has left?

It's hardly the odd cross, his assists and scoring stats are unreal for a right back. All for a couple of hundred grand IIRC.
