  1. How have I worked myself into a froth?? Where have I displayed petulance? Noticed you've conveniently not answered the questions I asked which is something of a speciality of yours. If your finding it boring, you can simply skip over my posts, or put me in your ignore list.
  2. Also worth noting at last years AGM Robertson stated fan engagement and customer service were the "top priority". A year on and nothings changed and could be argued its gotten worse.
  3. Articulate, strong, knowledgeable. Bennett has been, and continues to be a success in fund management (managing around £6 billion worth of assets). Are you aware of the work Weir is doing at Brighton? Worth a bit or research. I was unaware until someone on another forum mentioned him. Now humour me, why wouldn't they be?
  4. Latest blog by 4 Lads is well worth a read and have to say I agree 100% with the article. https://fourladshadadream.blog/2022/12/09/agm-revisited-rangers-board-avoid-being-held-to-account/
  5. Better get a left back in quickly, looks like Borna isn't coming back any time soon.
  6. Anybody going? Thought I had signed up for friendlies but no notification that my season ticket is activated.
  7. I actually think Bennett would be better in the role than Robertson. I thought his interview a few months back came over as condescending but at least he attempted to engage whilst Park and Robertson shied away. Said earlier, Davie Weir is building a great reputation for himself as Technical Director at Brighton. Probably out of our reach, but would be a good alternative to Park and / or Robertson. The board rightly get great credit (and I include King) for getting the club back, and for their continued investment. No denying that and I'm forever grateful for that. However, that should not deflect from their obvious shortcomings and that there are better options out there to run the operations for them.
  8. He is weak and with the return of Lawell he'll roll over and get his belly tickled.
  9. Maybe, but regime after regime treat us like sh1t. Its stump up and shut up - I hoped a board that had King, Park and Bennett (all Rangers men) would be different, but sadly they ain't.
  10. How am I looking ridiculous? What "bizarre" insults am I throwing around? Was Robertson a success at Motherwell? Does Park stike you as someone who is comfortable speaking in public? Didn't Bennett sound condescending in his interview? We're subsequent interviews get pulled due to the reaction of fans after 1st interview? Are the board "best in class" when it comes to operation issues at our club? If you are happy with the opperations of the club and board then fine, I'm happy for you but I'm not. If you don't like what I post, simply ignore it.
  11. It should come directly from the club, but it doesn't. That's the issue. The communication is abysmal a d that's down to the board. Robertson is no more than Motherwell standard, Park simply can't communicate and Bennett tried but came across as condescending. The was a reason the follow up interviews were pulled. If we can't get communication from the board, where and how do we get it? This ISNT about Club1872 v The Board, its about fans and shareholders (the life blood of the club) being communicated to in an open and honest manner buy the board. Best In Class? My hairy arse.
  12. The 3rd party NDA sounds like the club trying to enforce complete control over all "communication". That us unhealthy. Club1872 were never going to get Castore to give them the information they were after. If they did, it would have been Castore in the wrong. This isn't about Club1872 v The Board, it's about the complete lack of communication from the board and their lust to control all communication to fans. They are quite happy to throw "tit-bits" to the likes of FF when it suits them - they need to be more open, honest and transparent with ALL fans.
  13. According to La Gazzetta Express, we are interested in Slovakian midfielder Jan Gregus.
  14. Only if you get caught.
  15. And we've started to sign the best of youth players in Scotland. Recently signed Allan from Hibs and now looking at the kid from Hearts. I hope Lowy does make it. He certainly has the talent and ability, I hope he also has the desire and attitude required. He reminds of Ian Durrant and I'd he turns out half as good as Durrant we've won a watch. Ajax have been using this model for decades, we have (to our shame) just started it - it'll take time to develop.
  16. King and Lowry were / are the next two players who could be sold for decent fees. King had a few English teams sniffing around when he extended his contract. Given our injury crisis, he was thrown into the team and its fair to say he's struggled. King may recover from his shaky start, but if / when Davies and Goldson return, King will drop out. Lowry was about to break through but picked up a bad injury. If rumours are to be believed, he returned to the B Team with a "questionable" attitude and lasted only 45mins of the first couple of games he played. Looks like he has knuckled down and is back training with 1st team after a couple of good performances in Lowland League. McCann looks a prospect and featured under both SG and Gio. I like Mc ausland but don't know of he has what it takes. I hope he does because on his game, he looks an excellent football player. Lovelace could have something to offer and Ure can score goals at Lowland League level but that doesn't guarantee success at 1st team level (see Tony Weston as an example). Pinning hopes on youth carries as much risk as shoping in the bargain basement, getting one or both working well will be down to luck as much as having the right people in place (which can only help though).
  17. Well we managed to find the players mentioned above........
  18. How much did Tav, Alfie, Aribo, Kamara and Bassey cost us? Less than £2M combined? Good deals out there to be had. You just need to know where to look for them.
  19. Not 1st team related, but Jack Harkness has signed a contract extension and we are credited with an interest in a young Hearts player James Wilson.
  20. I hear Davie Weir is doing a great job at Brighton as Technical Director. Wonder if we could tempt him back as Wilson's or Robertsons placement? With you regarding Robertson who is nothing more than Motherwell standard. I'd add Park to the list as neither are "best in class".
  21. What? Aren't Club1872 (or anyone else for that matter) free to contact Castore (or any business) and ask a question? They won't get a response and would be silly to expect one but nothing stopping them asking. Maybe their contributors asked them to approach Castore? I don't know I'm not involved. For what it's worth, I spent (or wasted, depending on your viewpoint) a lot of time and energy sending Mr D Murray letters asking him various questions around Rangers knowing I couldn't/wouldn't answer them. Give him credit, those he could answer, he usually did.
  22. I don't know - I am not part of Club1872. However, I'm sure the Club1872 rep who asked the question(s) at the AGM mentioned that they would publish the emails / conversations they had with Rangers regarding the NDA.
  23. If the board are to be believed, its the manager and not Ross Wilson who has the final say on transfers.
  24. They are free to ask whoever whatever they want but knowing and understanding that they will not get any information. I could email Castore tomorrow and ask them anything I want. Nothing stopping me. If they could find the "reply" button (which they seem incapable of doing) they would no doubt (and rightly) tell me to bugger off.
  25. You have misunderstood what I said. I have no issues with the club insisting that Club1872 sign a NDA. What I have an issue with is part of that NDA stopping Club1872 (or however) informing their members/ contributors of any news / information they get from outwith Rangers FC without having it agreed by Rangers.
