It's hardly "incredible".... Why complain? Because I believe the first interview with our new manager should be viewable by ALL Rangers fans. As I believed the stage-managed, car-crash interviews with our "Board" should have been free for all to see (which they eventually were after Rangers realised they made an arse of it).

Well I'm pleased for you.

I think people can feel underwhelmed before a manager has been in the job for a certain time. I'm sure if there were Internet forums when Walter Smith took over from Graeme Souness, many Ramgers fans would have been "underwhelmed" by Walter's appointment. After the razzmatazz of the Souness arrival, replacing him with Smith was "underwhelming" but as history shows, was the correct decision. People are free to feel underwhelmed, excited, non-plused, over-the-moon at Beales appointment - however their feelings will have no impact on how successful (or otherwsie) Beale may be.

Good for them - still far more Rangers fans without access to RTV than have access. Doesn't really bother me to be fare - stopped listening to stage-managed interviews.

Welcome back Michael Beale, go write yourself into the folklore of Rangers Football Club. Said previously I was never against his appointment and I think we all knew he'd be back at some point. However, the appointment stinks of the board giving the job to a "safe" option, exactly as they done with Gio. I'll give Beale and the team my support and I hope MB becomes a Rangers legend.

At a loose end yesterday I watched a compilation of our goals during 55 season. We scored a few goals from corners and free-kicks.

Maybe a shareholder could ask what Gio meant in that at the AGM...... and you wonder at the timing, are those challenges and circumstances going to be any different for Beale or who ever takes over?

Anyway as I said in another thread the EL run last season, winning Scottish Cup and qualifying for CL group stages were the highlights of hospital year in charge. I'll never forget that night at Ibrox v Leipzig. Gio as a player won a treble, scored against Celtic and scored in the Champions League. I wish him well in his next challenge and he'll always be welcome back at Ibrox as far as I'm concerned.

If "journalists" like Keown are saying Beale isn't the kind of man we need, I'm starting to think Beale just might be the kind of man we need.

Heart and Hand reporting compensation package agreed with QPR and discussions with Beale regarding budget, backroom staff etc are ongoing.

According to TalkSport QPR fully expext Beale to leave and take over at Rangers.

I think the fans deserve the "best in class' in the areas highlighted above. In fact we've been promised this by the current board. It's their mantra. I know we can't chase the board, but we can certainly make the accountable for the terrible service they continue to provide in many areas. Would you (I understand you don't like answering questions) grade the current board and "pillars" of the club as best in class (or getting there) in the areas above? We can either make them accountable by calling them out or we can pay up, shut up and accept a sub-standard service.
