  1. I'm assuming Bisgrove or his predecessor as this is a commercial / retail 'partnership'.
  2. In typical Rangers fashion, we are all quick to take one side and once we have chosen a side, the other side are automatically wrong. We have current board and fan media v King and Club1872 and fans are lining up behind either option and dismissing the other sides opinions. We are nothing if nothing if not predictable - the carcrash / soap-opra continues and, no signs of it stopping and it now looks like the fanbase is going to be even more fractured than before. The current board are horrific at simply things like communication, PR, fan engagement, ticketing, catering, disabled access, safe standing etc, and it doesn't take Dave King or Club1872 to highlight this, their deficiencies are staring us in the face on a day to day basis.
  3. I said earlier in the thread that whilst I am not against Beale being appointed, it just smacks of an unimaginative appointment but that just mirrors the current board to be honest. On the plus side, Beale gets us and bought into the Rangers ethos, knows the club, knows the majority of the squad and knows the league. Under SG we certainly knew how to beat Celtic and never really got turned over. However, it will be interesting to hear what's changed in 12 months given the sudden departure of SG and his team and the "nobody knows what happened" comments. As fans we have no other option other than to get behind Beale (and I'm sure we will). We need to see improvement and stability and hopefully Beale (or whomever) can deliver. As others have said, no matter who we appoint (given the market we are shopping in) there will always be a risk attached to any appointment.
  4. Wrong thread
  5. Just when you thought the banter years were over, along comes the next episode in the continuing soap-opra that is Rangers Football Club.
  6. Our club is a shambles - add this to the news that Hummel are suing is to the tune of £9M....
  7. Heart & Hand reporting Beale to be boards preferred option and should be announced soon.
  8. Ronaldo released by Man U whilst we're looking for a new manager. Coincidence? 🤷‍♂️😁
  9. Neil Lennon as Shane McGowan?
  10. I like Beale, he seemed to get us when he was here, he is believed to be the brains behind "Team Gerrard" and is well respected in the game (and thought of as a top coach). However, whilst I wouldnt be against him being appointed it would be a very lazy and uninspired choice (so given the boards mantra, it will probably happen).
  11. As an aside, I would like to wish Gio all the best in the future and wish him good luck in his next role. In his year in charge he guided us to Europa League Final, won the Scottish Cup and qualified for the Champions League. The run to Europa League Final had some brilliant highs (although it ended on a low), with this being the pinnacle - that night will live in our memories for ever.
  12. First and foremost we require a manager who will offer improvement and stability. We can't be sacking managers on a yearly basis.
  13. Gordon Petric? Gérard Seaone?
  14. Given the time that has elapsed since our last game, you have to assume Wilson & the board have spent that time sounding out candidates to replace Gio? If they have, a replacement will be in this week (like after Gerrard left), if not expect an interim manager to be announced. I'm hoping for scenario 1, but expecting scenario 2 😀
  15. And Walter Smith
  16. @craig what's the lowdown on KT 😉

  18. That's my worry.....
  19. No, I'm asking you what you think and I think you knew that.
  20. Like what? Why not share your thoughts rather than disparaging comments about those who have replied in good faith.
