SPFL Season declaration challenged legally (ongoing discussion)
CammyF replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Get that dossier dusted down Anne ? -
Rangers are correct in making proposals. If SPFL are asking clubs to do their work for them, then our voice should be heard. Shouldn't impact on any future moves on correcting the governance of Scottish Football.
-
In more hope than expectation, Robertson mentioned the calling of the league and NOT the continued governing of the SPFL. As Craig says, maybe (hopefully) they are working away in the background and may be awaiting the outcome of the reconstruction bribes, sorry, discussions.

Yip, next she'll have a pop-up stall outside Hampden and be shouting "roll up, roll up, get you're (no strings attached) bribes here".... Maybe more effective of getting these loans / incentives (call them what you like) accepted if the cabal was to offer them? -

Doncaster now telling anyone who'll listen that reconstruction is only way to save Scottish Football. Rewind a few weeks and he was telling us handing the most tainted or all tainted titles to that mob was the only way to save Scottish Football. To think we have all 42 clubs a real opportunity to get rid of this bumbling idiot and the cabal but they decided to stick with the status quo - hell mend them. -

In the style of Question Of Sport, what happens next? Let me have a guess and see how close I get ; Hearts will submit their reconstruction request, which will include a 16 team top league (including Dundee), just like magic, the voting rules will change from 11-1 to say 8-4 something similar and hey pesto, everyone (except us) is happy. Wonder how close this scenario will be to what unfolds next week? -

Labour Peer (and Hearts Fan) George Foulkes has asked the UK Government to call on UEFA to investigate the SPFL decision to call the season. https://mobile.twitter.com/i/web/status/1262728390949421061 -
We consume their every thought, we live rent free in their heads. They think about us every minute of every day, we are the centre of their existence.

Celebrating a title handed to them in a boardroom during a global pandemic while people are dying worldwide is the most Celtic thing you could ever imagine. It screams Celtic Football Club.
-
But you can't award Champions without relegation so Peter will ensure Anne's resolution will go straight in the bin

There "ends" the most embarrassing episode in Scottish Football since 2012. Hopefully Hearts, Thistle and Kelty takes the corrupt cabal to court (as should we - The status quo can't continue). Enjoy your tainted of all tainted titles Liewall and your lackies yous deserve each other.

CammyF replied to blueflag's topic in Rangers Chat
Both parties making all the right noises and at last, looks like we may have a Commercial Department that will enhance our brand. Also great news that investment will be made available for redevelopment of the mega-store. Will be fantastic to have this back. -

If you take out the votes of the SPFL board members, that figure rises to over 41% dissension. -

The number of abstainees may be important. At 14 votes we have a third of clubs wanting an investigation, what percentage abstaining could be significant? Is 33% enough to call a vote of no confidence? Wonder how the man who said his job is to serve all 42 clubs equally will spin a third of these have no confidence in him? -

Whilst covering Rugby, English was an outstanding journalist. His books, especially; The Grudge: Two Nations, One Match, No Holds Barred, are great reading. -

I think, and I may be wrong, but serious journalists like Tom English can see that there is a massive story here (including a back story). For them to get access to all the information, they have had to keep clubs with the evidence onside. Nothing wrong with this, there is a story here and hopefully someone will make themselves famous by uncovering and reporting it. Other like Jackson are no more journalists than you or me, they write for gutter rags and cannot and should not be taken seriously. Hopefully they'll be exposed by ICT
