With Warburton and Mutry you could see an improvement in the team almost directly and could see how they wanted the team to play. With PC it is obvious even the players have no idea how they have to play. Can you explain his philosophy because it is certainly not evident at this time. Bates did Okay but he does look stiff and ungainly as Craig said, I hate to think what a Scott McDonald or Lee Griffiths type striker will do to him. type. Sammon rolled Beerman a few times but other than that he played okay. He was better in the first half when he was going forward a lot. This is absolutely shocking if true and why would Beerman say it if it is not true. The lad should have been the first to know from the managers mouth.

What worries me is that McKay said he had no idea what the tactics were in the Motherwell game and yesterday PC said I don't think the players are understanding my tactics. What worries me most is that PC has a 3 year contract.

PC needs to qualify for Europe with the players he has. Nothing more nothing less. It is okay summarising what players you have in house but if we do not qualify for Europe he will be able to bring in a few out of contract players and nothing else.

While Bates did well I thought he was very stiff and a quicker more flexible\supple CF than Boyd would leave him trailing in their wake. Beerman is a prospect but I fear too small to make a good defender. If Sammon had got a few good crosses to the back post we would have been in shit street. If he and Bates are playing against Aberdeen I cringe at what Rooney will do.

Andy Halliday is so disappointing. I really thought he was excellent up to this season but he is just a shadow of what he was last season. That is including the game against Celtic and Hibs last season where Halliday played well.

Ajax have been signing last year youths for years and claiming them as academy players and everybody seems to think they have the best academy in the world.
