Alan Judge: I'd love to work with Warbs again... just not at Rangers
pete replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
He said in the original story Warburton had asked him but he would never play for Rangers. So you knock-back Rangers and Warburton as a joke to your mates. That smells for me. -
The drip effect.
-
That is exactly what I meant. What we need is a constant complaint and not everyone jumping in at once.
-
I personally would say not to go gung ho. Choose our moments and complain. If the BBC have no link to Rangers on Saturday then yes we have another right to complain. I would say a lengthy line of complaints is better than 100 people jumping on the old bandwagon.

Probably the greatest player ever to walk on the famous Ibrox turf. RIP -
hmmmm, I don't know. McKay also played a part in his situation I think.

The Sun desperate for a story in International weekend. Not wanting to sign for Rangers says more about his own bigotry than any Rangers Bigotry. We have now had teams containing as many Catholics as Protestants. The only chance of him getting killed for playing for Rangers woul be from his own friends. Warburton now knows what kind of person he is and I will be surprised if he ever wants to work with him again. -
RANGERS midfielder Jordan Thompson has extended his loan deal with Airdrieonians until the end of the campaign. The former Manchester United kid made two appearances for Mark Warburton’s side against Alloa and Dumbarton earlier this term but made a temporary switch in search of first team football. Thompson has made a positive impression since moving to Lanarkshire earlier this month and he will now look to help the Diamonds clinch promotion to the Championship this term. He scored in the 3-1 win over Cowdenbeath on his second appearance for the club and also has two assists to his name for the League One outfit. Thompson will miss the Monklands derby against Albion Rovers this weekend, however, as he joins up with the Northern Ireland Under-19s for their European Championship qualifiers for matches against Poland, Holland and Ukraine. The 19-year-old will re-join Danny Lennon’s squad next month for the clash with Stranraer and will look to shine for the Diamonds between now and the end of the campaign. http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/rangers/14373887.Rangers_midfielder_Jordan_Thompson_extends_Airdrieonians_loan_deal_until_the_end_of_the_season/

Sorry I didn't mean you personally although in retrospect it did look like that. I just meant in general. I am not trying to make anything up. I may have made a mistake but I thought Whittaker was a right back. Anyway it is not worth arguing about and we can enjoy a game at the weekend. I don't really watch Scotland these days so I don't really know who even plays for them. They can do away with International weekend for me and just make it a Wednesday night like it used to be,
-
Whittaker is a right back and Wallace a left back so Wallace is not a natural replacement. The full Scotland team have a friendly and the U21 team have a Qualifier so I as manager would also prefer McKay in that team. Lets not be like the tims and look for things we can be offended about. I am glad Wallace has not been called up as it means our game can go ahead at the weekend.

That is exactly my point. I have no problem with the Kazim reaction but referee's have to be consistent on these kind of things. You can't have players getting a yellow\red card for a celebration in the middle of the park and accept the Celtic celebration.
-
My last game before leaving for Holland was the Scottish cup final in 1980. People entering the field caused a riot. These celebrations could have caused a riot. How can you justify booking a player in the middle of the park pumping a fist to the celebration that took place at Kilmarnock.
-
I am not one to join the paranoid gang but look at the difference in these celebrations.http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/celtic-striker-colin-kazim-richards-7594743#Yxp3mGrTPORqpluf.97 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dlqx_ffESFk Karim Richards appears to be stopping a steward doing his duty.

That is some collection mate. I am afraid I can't help you as I am not a video collector.
-
He is. That doesn't mean he wasn't valuable to us. He made the faults when we beat them at xmas. It was of course not orchestrated the statement was tongue in cheek.
-
Newcastle equalised in the 83 minute.
-
He was more valuable to us at Hibs.

Derek Johnstone: Rangers fans want permanent arrivals...

Players going out on loan seems to be Warburton's system. Whether it develops players further is to be seen. It certainly worked with McKay. Maybe we may still have had players like Ross McCormack if the players then had went out on loan. -
In the system we play we don't need a poacher striker we need one who can pass and move and hold the ball up. Dare I say a young Kenny Miller with a better first touch and better chance = goal ratio.
-
That can happen. I think he is still an excellent talent. I am just not sure he is the striker we need.
