  1. Reading between the lines in the sport shows it seems Tierney is preferred for the step up rather than Wallace.

  3. With all the talk of playing in Europe with a SC win, are we actually allowed to play in Europe due to the past financial situation. I thought there was something about having to have 3 positive and controlled financial audits before we are allowed back in.
  4. Were the 2 9 in a row's done in the old set-up? That is my guess. It is SPL.
  5. A police representative will dictate how many tickets Celtic get.
  6. I think Scott Brown may have run his race.

    The Gap

I will never be comfortable with anything less than Champions for Rangers. it will be breaking my heart to watch us below 1st place. We already have signed a striker and a CB don't forget so we can't expect much more on they fronts. I (+-) expect Ball to be with us next season as well. The rest depends on who leaves. If Law Shiels Clark leave then I would think we would need replacements. I think Forrester will probably be offered a contract. I can see the biggest upgrade being the mid-field and probably a striker apart from Windass if Clark leaves. (I suspect he will)
  8. I could complain but with me living in Germany and the BBC being so outdated they would probably reply if I could send them news of any Bombers in the sky.
  9. You are perfectly right with that statement but it hurts a f'n lot more when we lose.

Personally i think we are now starting to see the signs of Warburton's and Weir's coaching coming through. We now look defensively reasonably secure and pretty well balanced over the whole team. Dundee will be difficult because we are going to miss probably our 3 best players going forward. I can see. Where will we be in a year? I honestly believe we will be fighting Celtic for the title.
  11. Nice goal but what a room he was given. No wonder Hibs are struggling. The result makes the goal even better.
  12. Nothing new in shadow striker it is just somebody who plays around the main striker. A No.10 they used to say but these days it could be any number.
  13. Just as an addition I feel Taverniers defending qualities are also very much improving. He swept up behind the central defenders a few times last night. It has cost him his scoring potential but will put him in better stead for next season in the premiership.
  14. Yeh agree. I am getting visitors on Saturday from the other side of Holland so I will probably miss Saturdays game. The one week I would have loved a Sunday game.
  15. We can now afford to lose points in more than half our remaining games games
  16. He won't give up until it is mathematically impossible. He also said he doesn't have a losing monkey on his back. He is right it is in the mirror.
  17. Forrester motm so far. Holt is also having a good game. Another 2 or 3 goals will do fine.
  18. GZ is injured I forgot that when doing the preview. He was also injured on Saturday.
  19. Anchor we prefer not to have links on the site to that moron. If you just mention it anybody who is wanting to know what he is saying can look it up. I don't mean this snappily we just don't like giving him hits.
  20. If I or anyone else can help yo mate just give me a buzz as you now have a lot of work. I will gladly help with some of the catching up as I am sure others will. If it is possible.
  21. Tonight Rangers take to the hallowed Ibrox turf to take on Raith Rovers as the championship lines up for a full programme. Not Super Sunday this time but Tremendous Tuesday. With Hibs losing their 2nd game in a row at the weekend Rangers have now opened up a nice little 11 point cushion over second placed Hibs. With a vastly greater goal difference Rangers can now probably afford to lose 3 games and draw 1 over the last 10 games. Although the media are all but handing us the championship trophy many old adages spring to mind. Don’t count your chickens until they hatch, and, It is never over until the fat lady sings, spring to mind. The biggest danger of having such a cushion is of course is that complacency can set in and the set standards are unconsciously allowed to slip. As Hibs are witnessing at the moment once a downward curve has set in it is not easy to climb your way back out of it. Only a few months ago we were being labelled as being in a crisis after we drew a few games and then lost to Falkirk. Luckily we had a bumper win against our nearest rivals Hibs to boost our confidence and get the Warburton warship back up to cruise speed and back on the plotted course of winning the championship title. Raith Rovers are also on a winning run though and are in a vicious dog fight with Morton and Queen of the South for that prized 3rd playoff spot that offers a rope ladder to a place in the premier league next season. Raith consolidated that 3rd spot with a 3-2 victory over Morton at the weekend boosting their chances and also their confidence. They will be fighting from start to finish and taking at least a point against Rangers would be seen by them to be a massive point won rather than 2 points lost. . The tactics of our opponents will not be difficult to guess as it has become the tactic for virtually all teams playing against Rangers this season. That will be defending in numbers looking for a draw but hoping to pinch a goal and win on the counter attack. Set pieces are probably the biggest heart-stopping moment for Rangers fans and at times we have looked very disorganised leaving players with free headers. I suppose set pieces have become important for every team with all sorts of variants being thought up to get a shot at goal. Referee’s also play a part and the amount of holding, blocking and even wrestling that goes on unpunished makes you ask if referee’s actually still know the rules of the game. Rangers supporters have felt that that Rangers have not had a lot of ref’s decisions going for them lately but the fact is we should still have been winning games far more easily than we have been. It was not the referee that put the ball over the St Mirren bar from 2 yards. It is not the referee that makes players make wrong decisions when chances open up. We should not be depending on referee’s decisions to win us games. They will always go for or against you. Rangers have no further injuries apart from the long term Waghorn and Templeton but Warburton has stated he will use the squad and hinted he will rest some players and may even bring in some youth players. With O’Halleron and King cup-tied for Saturday they will be certain starters I would imagine. Mckay was taken off on Saturday and he could possibly be one of the players given a rest. I think the team will be: O'Halloran, King
  22. Is the league table anywhere to be seen?
  23. I can imagine this was done unintentionally but it is really quite a gaff.
  24. It was a horrendous miss but it did hit a hobble just before it reached him. You could see in the slow motion replay it did kick up a little off the turf. I must admit composure/concentration will play a role in his finishing as you can't be unlucky all the time.
