I agree with you fully BD and my answer was really to Gribz in saying he can think of 1 Celtic player. I think most of their EC team could have walked into most teams. If I have to name one that would be my first choice it would be Jimmy Johnstone. I even have to admit he is in my memory nearly as much as Baxter, Colin Stein( my personal Heroes) and the other Rangers greats so I suppose my answer to the OP must be Jimmy Johnstone. I don't think it matters which country you go to the older people all remember the flea.

I agree and I would have taken Halliday off as he had very little influence on the game except a shot that hit the post.
-
I can think of a full team of Celtic players I would love to have seen at Ibrox but I go a little further back than you.

The cup always throws up games like that and always has done. Many games are won and lost in replays.

I think some people watch a different game from me. Zelalem was excellent in the first half and gave 2 really good defence splitting balls that Wallace and Miller(I think) failed to control the ball. He even got in a few good tackles. McKay man of the match was also a joke as he had one of his poorest games of the season. Zelalem was in the first half but overall I would say Kiernen was about our best player. Halliday and Ball in the team is not working imo as Halliday struggles to impress.

Sheils has done nothing since he came, and under 2 different managers. I don't know what you expect him to do in the last 3 months getting the odd half game. We now also have King and O'Halloran so we may not even see Sheils again.

And it will be called soccel.

I merged the 2 threads guys. Never realised the 2 were the same.

15 charges now reduced to 9 Prosecutors have dropped five charges against the former administrators of oldco Rangers in the multi-million-pound fraud case. David Whitehouse and Paul Clark are facing trial alongside former owner Craig Whyte, 44, ex-chief executive Charles Green, 62, and three other men over a number of charges relating to their dealings with the club. Whyte, Green and David Grier have also had allegations against them dropped. Charges seven, eight and nine, which alleged Whyte and Grier obtained thousands of pounds from Rangers by fraud were also deserted. Green has now also been deleted from charge 12. The indictment has now been reduced from 15 charges to nine. The Duff and Phelps employees had the charges against them deserted by the Crown during a preliminary hearing at court in Edinburgh on Friday. David Grier, Gary Withey, 51, and Imran Ahmad also face a number of charges relating to their dealings with the club. Clark and Whitehouse still face two charges but charges one, four, ten, 11 and 13 on the 28-page indictment have been deserted. The pair were accused in, charge one, of conspiring with Whyte and three other men to obtain by fraud a controlling stake in Rangers. Whitehouse and Clark were accused of involvment in serious organised crime in charge four and in charge ten were accused of making the administration of Rangers "inevitable" as well as failing to pay a £2.8m tax liability and receiving £6m from Ticketus LLP. They were also accused of attempting to pervert the course of justice in charges 11 and 13. The charges have now been dropped. Copied this from FF so I am not sure where it comes from. I think in most trials there are charges dropped. They charge them first and then see what they can get to stick. They have to charge them within a number of days so they go for the maximum to make sure the net is full.

I don't condone this but where is the border on what you can say. If I say Miller should be hung for missing that chance. I don't actually mean he should be hung. We really need to watch what we are wishing in these sort of incidents because the borderline is getting extremely near things we all just say as a joke. Could Freddie Mercury still sing "Mamma I've just killed a man"without getting huckled. -
watch the Karim Richards stamp here and note where the referee is. If he doesn't see that then he needs a visit to his sponsors. Also note where Richards is looking as he stamps there is no way is it accidental.

The timing was never known. We didn't have to pay them back now.

Who is the guy that always asks a funny question at the end?

There is no copy of the credit facility? What is that for claptrap.

While it is good news in one way I feel a bit sorry we could not have got Ashely in the witness box. I think that is probably the biggest reason they are dropping it.

Aberdeen should have had a penalty and a player sent off when the two Celtic central defenders took shots each of trying to stop Rooney running through on goal. Boyata was all over him and Sviatchenko came in to pull him down about 10 yards out. It should have been a penalty and red card. Kazim-Richards the fantastic striker who I believe has scored only 50 goals in 350 games should also have been sent off for deliberate stamping. He stepped over the Aberdeen player deliberately standing on his calf muscle on the way past. The compliance officer should be looking at this tomorrow.

Zelalem is good with tackles as well. He just avoids them.

Transfer Deadline Day: Michael O'Halloran signs until 2020

Did Graham Souness not say he wanted to build a squad for the SPL and a squad for Europe? -
While sad, death is the only certainty we all have. At 91 he had a really good innings. That won't make it any easier for the family though. Wishing them all the strength they need. RIP!

I don't have any adverts anymore. I now use DuckDuckgo as search engine and only go through google via a search on DuckDuckgo. i will agree it is not as good as google as search engine but you don't get all the Google shite. As Bearman said Ad-block plus is also excellent.

Based on the managers opinion and the one game I saw last season against Celtic. We defended poor against Celtic in 2 games at the end of last season and now again. I think that is a fair assumption over our 3 last games against Celtic.
-
Seems we have not got any better than the end of season games against Celtic last season. Most disappointing. http://rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/durrant-fumes-defending/

Since living in Holland I always get mixed up when people say hernia as in Holland it is a trapped nerve in your spine and is a very difficult\dangerous operation. I take it this is in his groin area and quite a simple operation.
