  1. Nigel de Jong released. Now there is a defensive midfielder Mr Warburton.
  2. Warburton just said in that interview we are in no more discussions in or out so that is 12.00 for us. Unless there really is a last minute surprise bid for one of our players.
  3. Apologies but I dimmed it down already. If I was not a moderator I would probably be banned with what I had in mind. I just can't get round these stupid statements that if somebody dares to disagree with the main line they are hand-wringers or knuckle-dragers or whatever. I guess these people think they are some sort of uber-supporter that can put other supporters in categories. Anyway going to fit some more tiles and calm down.
  4. Yeh I am a hand- wringer because I disagree with a statement. Why are you a hand- wringer then? Or are you just a bum chum that nods at everything.
  5. It certainly captures Rangers minded feelings that is for sure. It would be perfect for a Rangers Fanzine. Not a great statement for the open press though and our enemies are already all over it.
  6. Driven 1 automatic for a half hour in my life and hated it. Never again unless in an emergency. Anyway back to the subject.
  7. The gear stick in my car.
  8. I am leaving it at that guys I have said enough already.
  9. Zelalem hasn't scored an own goal yet.
  10. PLG sorry. Where is this evidence to put in front of neutral people. You have brought out a statement that will be put in the press and is nothing better than Spiers's claims over a Rangers director. This will be jumped upon and take all the attention away from Spiers. I hope I am wrong.
  11. Bearman you are right and I don't disagree with that. Funny enough it is the same as the Zelalem argument. There is a time for attacking forward but also a time for passing back and waiting until you can go for the jugular. Putting out unsubstantiated claims is like a punt up the field and hoping it falls kindly. It mostly doesn't and the ball gets returned just as quick and only creates danger for yourselves.
  12. Now you are fishing and I won't get entangled in your dislike of certain people.
  13. I totally agree on that. The statement should have been the first and last paragraph. Someone with a good statement who got carried away and ckufed it up.
  14. So why give them ammunition?
  15. Just to clear why I think what I said. Graham Spiers and Heggarty had lost their jobs. The Celtic minded were frothing at the mouth. Sometimes it is better to enjoy the moment in silence rather than to hand them ammunition to fight back with.
  16. Why should she. It just sounds like conspiracy crap. If we want to accuse Politicians then put facts on the table. then she will have to listen. No point in farting in the wind.
  17. No! If you write a statement like that it is not my job to dig for the facts. I personally agree and know the situation but they are making accusations against politicians. No proof! That is exactly what Spiers did. This is a stupid misjudged statement that just looks like people with a conspiracy complex.
  18. I disagree it is factual. I think only Rangers supporters will think that. Where are the facts in that for a neutral? Where is there any facts to prove it. There is none in this statement. This statement is only doing exactly what Spiers did in making unsubstantiated accusations. Personally I think this is a very poor statement and should have been left alone.
  19. Warburton said in his interview that when Tav got the ball for the goal he actually wondered why King was not on the RW to give Tav the wide option. That is the problem with such a strict 4-3-3 system that there are few bodies actually in the box. I think Warburton will be glad King broke the system now.
  20. I don't think so but I think Italy already use it.
  21. I think you will find in most if not all the instances above the game will have stopped anyway. I believe it will take about 30 seconds to look back. It will only be used on the important decisions above and not for every offside rule. I think it will also add a new dimension to watching the game as well. It will be great riling the other supporters if their goal is chopped off.
  22. Can I ask who Mo Ali is? Excuse the ignorance.
  23. He changed the game because we retained the ball more and easier. When you are counting all these passes do you take into consideration if there is a forward pass on. We are set up in a 4-3-3 so that means we only have 1 man centrally in the box normally covered by 2 defenders. If McKay has the ball out wide then Wallace bombs past him giving McKay a forward option. He does not do that as often if a central midfielder has the ball. Do you take into account that the backward pass can lead to an assist by a better positioned player. You can throw these statistics round but they mean nothing unless you look at the whole situation. If he had passed all the backward balls forward then you would be moaning he passed 12 forward and lost the ball on most of them. If you want to see only forward passes then go and watch a team as we had last season with big punts up the park. When watching Barcelona the next time, count how many backward passes there are. It is called retaining the ball. I am not saying he is brilliant but he is not near as bad as you make out which lyes more on your football insight rather than him playing that bad in my opinion.
  24. Maybe I look at games in a too positive light but I actually thought Forrester done quite a lot of good things yesterday. For me Law and Shiels and Miller were the biggest culprits for our poor performance and possibly the more defensive play of Ball. Maybe that wasn't a bad thing though as we walked into sucker punches in the last game.
