http://rangers.co.uk/news/rangers-tv/video-halliday-press-conference/ Got a little question with this. How many times can you say "at the end of the day"in one press conference.

I thoroughly found it a privilege to meet Ian although the orange overall and the knuckle dusters that he wore I found a little strange.

RST shop within the Ibrox Primary School open this Saturday
pete replied to pete's topic in Rangers Chat
Just ordered a red and black top online. I played in the same shirt in Holland for years(Rood-Zwart Delden http://www.roodzwart.nl/) so makes me feel young again and helps the RST get shares. ++ situation. -
Why has he got Queen of the South on his shirt?

The Rangers Supporters Trust (RST) is delighted to announce that we will have our shop within the Ibrox Primary School open this Saturday at the home match against Livingston. The shop will open at 12.15pm and an extended range of merchandise will be available. There was a fantastic reaction to the shop before Christmas with all profits being used to purchase shares in any upcoming share issue ensuring that the club gets a more favourable deal compared to the current merchandise deal with Sports Direct. On top of the various t-shirts and Armed Forces top that were on sale last time, we will have a selection of branded mugs, RST badges and in partnership with the Lionbrand, we will be selling their extensive range of strips. There will also be a range of children’s t-shirts available. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday. See more at: http://www.therst.co.uk/news/rst-sho....psKijMf2.dpuf

Transfer Deadline Day: Michael O'Halloran signs until 2020
pete replied to der Berliner's topic in Rangers Chat
To be honest i don't really get this defensive midfielder thing. We have not won the games we have lost or drawn because we cannot break down a packed defence and our centre backs have made mistakes on a 2 against 1 situation. Should we have a player on the field to babysit our erratic centre-backs. Halliday offers defensive cover and also sees the attacking plan. For next season we will need a defensive midfielder possibly but our problem this season is not a defensive midfielder it is a striker with a better average than 1 goal for 5\10 chances(Miller) and a defender that can command in a 1 on 1 situation. -

Then release them at the end of the month if nobody is willing to give anything. Every 100.000 helps. -

That would be crazy unless we already have cover for them. Secondly why would we be paying for players and giving ours away for free? -

Rip it out if people can't go 2 hours without internet where 90 minutes of that they should be watching the game then they want to see a addiction specialist. -
Rangers could face punishment over sectarian chanting

I suppose talking about alcohol is better than Rangers getting a punishment. I think the OP has been somewhat lost. -

Reading & Sheff Wed in for Waghorn Reading and Sheffield Wednesday are eyeing moves for in-form Rangers forward Martyn Waghorn, sources have told TEAMtalk.com. Waghorn became Britain’s leading goalscorer in all competitions last weekend with his hat-trick in the Scottish Cup win over Cowdenbeath taking him to 25 goals. The 25-year-old has been a revelation for Rangers since joining the club last summer from Wigan Athletic and the striker’s form is spearheading Rangers’ bid to win promotion back to the Scottish Premiership. Waghorn’s red-hot form in front of goal has not gone unnoticed south of the border with a number of Championship clubs keeping a watching brief on the former Sunderland and Leicester City man. Reading and Sheffield Wednesday are both in the market for striking reinforcements this January and Waghorn is thought to figure highly on their wanted lists. Reading need to find a replacement for Nick Blackman following his departure to Derby, while Sheffield Wednesday are also still in the hunt for a new forward after losing out to Derby for Blackman. It is unlikely that Rangers will consider selling Waghorn this month, but the club are bracing themselves for interest in the player in the wake of his goalscoring exploits. http://www.teamtalk.com/news/reading...itman-waghorn? -

I do as they are my nearest supermarkets. Here in Germany they are all over the place. Virtually like pubs in Glasgow.(Slight exaggeration,) -
This girl is getting called all names on another Rangers Forum. I feel that because of this story I have to tell of the experience I and my sister went through when we went to watch Rangers in a game which would have been in the early 70.s. My sister was 3 years older than me. We went to watch a Rangers game with a pretty large crowd. I have now forgotten who we were playing. I would think that my sister was about 16\17 and I was about 13. All of a sudden my sister started screaming and tried to pull me away through the crowd. She later told me that a number of people started putting their hands up her skirt and sexually assaulting her. My sister who was a mad Rangers supporter never ever returned to Ibrox and although loving football actually hated Rangers. I often tried to explain to her that the club had done her no wrong that it was a group of idiots but her memories of that incident kept her bitter to the end, She died on October 31st 2015 at the age of 61 hating the club the rest of our family all loved. That hurts me like hell.

We will never know, but I doubt that they would take a team where the nucleus should have won 2 world cups, apart.

Spurs youth v Chelsea on Sky 1 including Harry Winks. -
A bit unfair as that Ajax team had Johan Neeskins Arie Haan Gerrie Mühren with Johan Cruijff. Sjaak Swart and Piet Keizer in front of them. Not to forget Ruud Krol and Wim Suurbier as full backs That is a world team and not many teams could do what they did. I would love to have seen them against a modern day Barcelona.

Arnold Peralta's mum hits out at Honduran authorities Arnold Former Rangers star Arnold Peralta was shot dead Keith Campbell By DOUGLAS WALKER and ANTONIO CARLO published 12:30, 5 Jan 2016 You might also like THE widow of murdered ex-Rangers star Arnold Peralta is haunted by the sight of his bullet-riddled body, she revealed. Vanessa Oliva, 27, and their baby girl Camila were out shopping with Peralta, 26, when he was floored by 18 shots from a mystery hitman. She said: “The hardest thing I have faced is to see is body. “I cannot erase those images, what happened in those mo- ments — I will never forget. She went on: “Now I have to fight for my daughter and tell her she had an amazing father. Vanessa shared her grief before a match in Peralta’s honour at La Ceiba, Honduras, where he was gunned down in a mall car park in early December. She was at Monday’s game with his mother Celina Sosa, who revealed she has no desire to find out who killed him. Celina said: “I am so sad, I don’t care anymore. I am sure God will find justice.” But she added: “I demand the police investigate the killing — it is nearly a month and we are no further forward with information. It cannot go unpunished.” douglas.walker@the-sun.co.uk “About the investigations we don’t have anything concrete, and at this moment nobody is telling anything. We are asking the authorities to clarify his death because we don’t know what happened. “We are disappointed about the impunity in our country. This is happening to so many families and not only to Arnold. “We have to stop the violence. We need peace in Honduras. I am hoping that the authorities managed to catch the criminals who killed Arnold. “I am asking to our Prime Minister and the Police forces to do their job. Arnold had planes to return to Tegucigalpa to start the pre-season with his football team Olimpia and enjoy a trip to the States during the Christmas time. “The hardest thing that I have face in my life so far is to see the body of Arnold lying on the ground after been shot dead. I cannot erase those images inside my head and what happened in those moments. I will never forget this. It is something irremediable. “This Christmas period was unforgettable sad and empty without Arnold. We never expect this. We never expect a Christmas time without him”. Director of amateur Club Deportivo Murcia admitted that Arnold Peralta donated to the entire first team Rangers’ jerseys for the players. He said: “Arnold played for the first time football in our club as a little boy. He remembered his origins as a player. He donated Rangers jerseys to all the players. “We played with the Rangers jersey in all our league games”. http://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/scotsol/homepage/news/6840383/Arnold-Peraltas-mother-hits-out-at-Honduran-authorities.html
