I should have said I hope our players don't play like puddings and beating Hibs is not pie in the sky.

We have enough puddings on the park I would prefer something more hearty.

Merry Christmas everyone. I hope Santa fills your stockings.

Rangers coach Ian Durrant raves about Jamie Barjonas after Youth Cup performance
pete replied to pete's topic in Rangers Chat
Erasmus a student exchange are paying part and I would imagine the academy are paying the rest. As far as I know the academy's finances are separate to the clubsthus I don't think the club will be paying towards it. -
We do get a percentage back. I believe it is 26%. Of course 26% of nothing is nothing.
-
So you have someone to cosy up too. That's nice. Joking aside it was good of you to offer.

Why take 2 weeks to bring it out and then only in a Match programme. Has he got the Easdales PR man working for him?

Transfer Deadline Day: Michael O'Halloran signs until 2020

You go on to Kerrydale too much mate. The directors have already coughed up about 8 million between them up until now. They have promised more for players in January. I am not sure how much more you want. Or did you stupidly think he would just transfer 30 million into the bank. -
Ref got it wrong, now just get on with it.

Thanks for that elfideldo. You have just spoiled my tea-break. You can just see we have been a shambles from top to bottom. It does not mean that the St. Mirren players will end up better of course but if you look at what Halliday is doing then you do have to look at our judgement on youth players. -
For the 3 striker system to work, your wingers also have to be a goal threat. Unfortunately ours aren't. 2 goals for McKay(afaicr) and 1 for Oduwa is no where good enough after 17 games. You can say that our fullbacks have been scoring instead but that has come at a cost to our defending. In a 4-3-3 the wingers should also become full-backs if the full-backs are in an advanced position so it should not really happen that the CB's are so exposed.

A 16 year old getting that praise in an under 20 game is very promising. Vittesse Arhnem brought a 16 year old on last Saturday for the last 15 minutes so maybe we can give him a chance on the bench if he is that good. They were 5-1 in front I will add and it is a while since we have had that luxury. I doubt it will happen against Hibs. Although you never know who would have thought of 6-2 before we won at the beginning of the season.

Hammer, nail on the head. Regularly we are landed with 2 or 3 in the box against 7 or 8. With our defence leaking to the long ball I suppose the other players are weary of pushing too far up. Also other teams see we struggle at the back against 1 or 2 lone strikers and are happy to sit deep until their strikers can get on the end of a long ball. Kiernan is very weak on a 1 against 1 and tackles like a fairy to be honest. I think that is what Warburton meant when he said we need more physical players. I would think a more physical CB and a more physical striker will be on the menu. I think Waghorn is struggling by getting moved about. He should be in the centre with Miller coming from a wide left position. Miller as main striker is a waste of space.

None of the new boys in the team. Is there a reason for that?

I must admit my heart sunk when I saw Clark waiting to come on,on Saturday. -
He just had an operation to fix something that was troubling him did he not? Hopefully he returns to fitness now. I wouldn't even wish ill on any football player to be honest, no matter which team they play for.

By the way Rousseau thank you for the fantastic after match analysis. The fact that it brought so much discussion is a massive feather in your cap. -

Please excuse me if I am wrong. I have changed titles on numerous occasions for people but I believe you can do it yourself. If you go to edit post and then Go Advanced you can change the title yourself. I may be wrong so please give me feedback. I could change it but I prefer that people know they can do it themselves. -
Welcome aboard mate.

Frankie I will do the 2nd of January if you are 100% sure you don't want to do it yourself or anyone else wants it. Having one of our better writers doing a new year special would be another great option. -
That was my first thought as well. I don't know if I fancy getting amongst their supporters though. I think their derby is the most dangerous in the world.

They are really wee angels you know. Big bad people are just making up unfounded stories about them. Big cuddly mike will have a wee look under the covers and let his PR men tell everyone what a great boss he is. People just don't understand how good he is. He is the most misunderstood cuddly boss in the world. AAAAAA! All is lovey dovey at Sports Direct.
