Rab doesn't seem to get that. I think he was expecting 30million being made over to a bank-account. -

I thought that as well and have actually heard people sing "Hello Hello we are King Billy's boys" but they were obviously as wrong as we were or they didn't want to be associated with Fullerton. -

The old covered terrace was also called the Derry. That is where I thought it originally came from until I heard the fullerton story. -

In reply to your post, I think you are right that he is taking his experience from his former occupation and buying in players that have potential but have had a low yield and try to grow them into profit making entities. I am not so sure size or weight makes a difference on heavy fields but the type of player will certainly have an effect, You possibly have to have less technical players with more stamina. Are short snappy players better than big cart-horse types of players? I would imagine that is how you want to play. If it is a long ball system up to a striker then I would say you would need a larger more muscular striker with probably a couple of fast zippy players feeding off him. I don't think Zelalem started to play bad with heavy pitches I just think he slows the game down too much by trying to make too many simple passes. I think he will end up an excellent player but not in the cut and thrust Scottish game. -

I am not sure the keeper is from a low level Lech Poznan are not a bad level and Polish keepers have been quite reasonable in the past. These players also only got a 6 month contract so they are obviously being looked at to see what level they are. Warburton obviously knows Forrester and he was a former England youth internationalist so I think Warburton is possibly thinking he has more to offer than he has shown. Some players fall away from the level they should reach for different reasons so I guess Warburton has seen something in him as a youth player that he thinks he can possibly bring it out of him. Look at Barrie McKay. If Warburton had not seen something in him then he could have withered away in the lower leagues. Now we are talking about him as a future Scotland player. Many young players fall away because of their attitude and if you can turn that round as they get older then you may have a gem on your hands. Again Barrie McKay is a good example. -

There is so much we don't know. Were the Police called immediately where they could question people on the bus? Was there anyone else on the bus. The driver would have been a witness and possibly others on the bus but if someone just all of a sudden throws a bottle then you only have a split second to see it and most would probably be strangers to the area and not much help anyway. -

Well the police report said they didn't. How do you know they did? -
Okay guys I don't mind this thread going on as a Rangers theme but when we start discussing Nazism and Trotsky then we are way off line. keep it Rangers coloured either that or start a post in the Bluenose lounge. I personally would have voted Yes(If I had a vote) as I moved from Labour to SNP before I left Britain in 1980. I have totally no inclination to vote tory just because I am a Rangers supporter. I only voted SNP because I wanted a free Scotland. I would have moved back to Labour when we had gained that. for me it is all irrelevant now as I don't have a vote.

Personally I think that is a crap statement. In this case his team\religion would make no difference. If the Police could arrest someone they would. It may also be a plea for someone to come forward. -
God Bless them.

Report: Rangers targeting Tom Bradshaw for Ibrox move, Sheffield Wednesday interested Rangers are reportedly vying with Birmingham City, Brentford, Cardiff City, Preston North End and Sheffield Wednesday for Tom Bradshaw. According to the Daily Mail, Rangers are looking to sign Walsall goal machine Tom Bradshaw - but face competition from five Championship clubs. The Gers have been sensational so far this season with 12 wins from 13 games, and much of that has been down to the exceptional goalscoring exploits of Martyn Waghorn in attack. Yet, with promotion the aim for Rangers this season, manager Mark Warburton is seemingly looking for more attacking options, especially with Kenny Miller advancing in age and question marks over Nicky Clark's role at Ibrox. Advertising Policy The Daily Mail are today reporting that Rangers have lined up Walsall sensation Tom Bradshaw for a move to Ibrox, but may have to wait until next summer given the fee Walsall are likely to command for Bradshaw's signature. The 23-year-old hitman, formerly of Shrewsbury Town, hit 20 goals for the Saddlers last season, and has also bagged nine goals in 20 games this term too as he establishes himself as one of the top strikers in the Football League. Bradshaw, a former Wales Under-21 international, loves to play on the shoulder of the last defender, and has enough pace to get through on goal, as he has shown in League One on many occasions - and these attributes would no doubt be a great weapon for Warburton and Rangers. However, it's also stated that five Championship clubs - Birmingham City, Brentford, Cardiff City, Preston North End and Sheffield Wednesday are also interested in signing Bradshaw, and those five clubs may be better positioned to make January bids for the striker than Rangers currently are. Wednesday may be appealing to Bradshaw considering how the club are developing under Carlos Carvalhal, but with the likes of Lucas Joao, Gary Hooper, Fernando Forestieri, Atdhe Nuhiu and Sergio Bus all vying for roles up front, Bradshaw may prefer a move to a club where he can be guaranteed first-team football, which should give Rangers hope of a deal. http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2015/11/16/report-rangers-target-tom-bradshaw-for-ambitious-ibrox-move-shef/ -
Friday, 01 January 2016, 14:00 by Rangers Football Club Rangers International Football Club PLC (RIFC) is pleased to announce new loan facilities totalling £6.5m have been made available to the company over the past month. The facilities have been provided by existing lenders New Oasis Asset Limited (Dave King), Douglas Park, George Letham and George Taylor and by three new lenders, RIFC Director John Bennett and two additional Hong Kong based supporters, Barry Scott and Andy Ross. RIFC’s board is delighted to welcome the new lenders who, as long-standing supporters of the Club, fit exactly into the profile of investors that RIFC has encouraged during this ongoing rebuilding phase. The new funding has all been provided on the same basis as other recent loans to RIFC. The loans to RIFC were primarily utilised to fund repayment of the Sports Direct facility with the balance going towards the Group’s working capital requirements. http://rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/rangers-international-football-club-plc-statement-2/

Rangers looking to add quality, says Frank McParland By Allan Valente Last Updated: 01/01/16 4:00pm Head of recruitment Frank McParland explains Rangers' transfer policy and says they plan to be busy in the January transfer window Rangers' head of recruitment Frank McParland says the club expect to do more business when the January transfer window re-opens. The Scottish Championship leaders secured the signing of Doncaster winger Harry Forrester on Thursday for an undisclosed fee. McParland said the club do not need to bring in too many new faces, but revealed that manager Mark Warburton is aiming to strengthen his squad if the right quality is available. "Hopefully we'll be very busy, whether it is signing players or just doing our job day-to-day, we need to look and need to improve," McParland told Sky Sports News HQ. "We don't need to do loads because we have got some really good players here so if we can add a little bit I'm sure we will. "If I like a player, and I know what players the manager and David [Weir, assistant] want as we've worked together very closely, the three of us sit down and we'll look at three or four players, categorise them, put them in order and then that's when we start our work. "But the three of us normally have to be happy with the players. If one of us isn't happy we normally move on." http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11788/10116312/rangers-looking-to-add-quality-says-frank-mcparland -
Rangers bring in £6.5million in loan funds as they attempt to pay off Mike Ashley RANGERS have accepted another £6.5million in loan funds as the board try to pay off Mike Ashley and keep the club afloat. By Iain Macfarlane PUBLISHED: 20:34, Fri, Jan 1, 2016 | UPDATED: 20:48, Fri, Jan 1, 2016 Chairman Dave King as well as the ‘Three Bears’ – Douglas Park, George Letham, and George Taylor – stumped up the bulk of the cash. Three new benefactors have come forward – director John Bennett and Hong Kong-based fans Barry Scott and Andy Ross. A sum of £5m is required to clear Rangers’ debt to Ashley and Sports Direct. The rest of the money will go into the coffers for day-to-day running costs. Despite results on the park going well, Rangers supporters have grown uneasy about the use of loans from directors even if they are on terms favourable to the club. When King took control of the club in March he spoke of pumping in £20m of his own fortune. But so far the money has mainly been in the form of loans. King is adamant this is the best way forward, with Gers trying to build up trust in the wider financial community after years of mismanagement. The South Africa-based Scot argued at the AGM in November that once the £5m Ashley loan was paid, the club would owe money to no one outside the boardroom, thus making them one of the strongest clubs financially in world football. I don't believe Kiernen is anywhere near being a premiership player. The strikers there will rip him apart. Look at all our goals against this season and I think Kiernan will have a hand in many of them. -
In reading the report it states the sending off was incorrect and fooled the referee into making the wrong decision and there was no violent contact. Now I can only make from that, that no kick has been mentioned in the referee's report. Whether the compliance officer looks at the kick would have to be his decision then and not judging on the ref's report. Judging on the wording Halliday showed no violent conduct I really can't see how he can then say there was violent conduct. He should then have worded the letter to Fyvie completely different. Scottish football decisions can be pretty crazy though so I am probably wrong.
-
Unless I am reading this wrong then the compliance officer is already admitting that the sending off was incorrect as there was no violent conduct. If there is no violent conduct then he must clear Halliday of the red card.

My eyes started watering and my lips trembling watching that. Where did Penny Arcade come from? I mean in a Rangers sense, I know it is Roy Orbison. Who decided it would be good as a club song? -
I will be shocked if he isn't. If he isn't then Rangers must ask for clarification why Lafferty was called up but Fyvie not. I think it been given too much publicity for them to ignore it.
