  1. I think the board will be looking for and picking a manager with the same outlook as Warburton if he leaves. I think he would jump at the top clubs as would most people but i do not see him leaving for a Swansea or Fulham type club. He could be guaranteed European football every year with us which he will not be given at a smaller club. I think if England or Spurs call he will be away without thinking about it. I believe when he does leave though it will be on good terms and that he can hold his head high.
  2. I disagree with that. I think if we could win the cup and get into Europe it would make a huge difference to the money we spend. It could propel us at least 1 year forward if not more because Celtic would have less time to react. I would expect massive protests though not to give us that Euro place and for it to be upheld.
  3. My last game before immigrating to Holland was the 1980 cup final. While I am now totally proud of our support there was a large number that day that I have no respect for. That was the bottle throwers. The chance that they would hit a Celtic hooligan( Not that that would have justified it) on the field was zero so what they were doing was bombarding their own support with bottles. I was lucky as I could get behind a stanchion but many bears were taken away with head wounds. One of the worst experiences I have had at a football match.
  4. I am surprised King and O'Halloran are not in the team as they can't play next week. As you say it definitely looks like a trial run for next week. Only problem is Delia will probably be watching.
  5. Does that make him a bad manager or a bad person?
  6. Well done mate that is your beer money paid for today. Enjoy!
  7. Kilmarnock 3 St Johnstone 0 Dundee Utd 0 Inverness 2 I hope somebody took us up on this.
  8. All BBC and ITV channels are free to Air on the satellite. Any country within the footprint of Astra 28.2 can get all the BBC,ITV channels.
  9. Will they be changing names from Glasgow Celtic to Panama Celtic. We can help them.
  10. I can't argue with him although Cammy Bell and David Templeton are dubious.
  11. Shit I missed the naked waitresses. We went to a Rugby club that was supposed to have topless waitresses but they were all wearing bikini's. Most disappointing.
  12. All the bookies in Holland have disappeared as there was little interest. There are Casino's. After working in the ROF in Bishopton and seeing guy's getting there wages( In the old brown packets) and losing the lot at cards and also having a friend who was a gamblingholic I am totally against gambling. No booky will ever get a penny of my money. I was in Aussie land last year and every pub I was in had a bookmakers part. there is a wall of TV's showing all the sports events and you go to the bar to put on a bet. Just a bit of useless information.
  13. How is it Craig they are offering all the live games for 5 pound a month. If my arithmetic is good that is only 60 pound. Or is it 200 for the total RTV package.
  14. I think Killie will win tomorrow v St Jnstn and DU will lose to Calley putting them back in serious trouble.
  15. Billionaire Celtic supremo Dermot Desmond is latest high-profile figure to be 'named' in Panama Papers 13:18, 8 Apr 2016 Updated 15:48, 8 Apr 2016 By Sally Hind THE 11.5 million files leaked from Panama law firm Mossack Fonseca show how the rich and powerful use tax havens around the world to hide their wealth. CELTIC’S major shareholder Dermot Desmond is reported to be one of the names to appear in the Panama Papers. The Irish billionaire is the latest high-profile figure to be identified among the 11.5 million files leaked from Panama law firm Mossack Fonseca which show how the rich and powerful have used tax havens around the world to hide their wealth. The 65-year-old, who is majority shareholder of Celtic and worth an estimated £1.38billion, is named in 2005 paperwork from HSBC Private Bank in Switzerland to Mossack Fonseca . The correspondence is in relation to a firm called Ard International Inc, whose directors grant a power of attorney over the company to Desmond. A later note from the Caribbean-based tycoon reportedly asks that Ard’s directors instead grant power of attorney to two Swiss lawyers. The files also show a link with Irish businessman and racehorse owner JP McManus, naming him as a client of the firm. There is no suggestion those named in the papers have broken the law. Both men are yet to comment on their links to the law company. The Irish times reported: “The two wealthy Irish business figures, Dermot Desmond and JP McManus, also appear in the files. “Both are active in international investments and are not tax resident in this jurisdiction, and it is not surprising that they might show up in the files of a major law firm that provides global services.” X Factor judge Simon Cowell, Margaret Thatcher’s son Sir Mark and golfer Sir Nick Faldo are among scores of high profile names which have been dragged into the Panama Papers row . 16. He wasn't sitting in the house, he was in the garden.
  17. In other words "I doubt he gives a Ckuf" It is all the small companies around him we should feel sorry for.
  18. Great post mate and welcome.
  19. Excellent! Someone should let them know our original name was The Rangers
  20. I get your drift but I think it is important we discuss these things. I personally had never heard of Phil Gordon before this and if I had not seen his drivel then I would"not have known of him. What would happen if Warburton said to the players,"If the opposition have the ball we all close our eyes.
  21. I hate to say this but I think we need a goalkeeper. I hope I am proved wrong.
  22. Frigg'n Tsunami\earthquake there cost me my job.
  23. I loved big Amo he played with his heart on his shirt.
  24. http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/intligen/startseite/648801/artikel_die-rangers-sind-zurueck---nicht-jeder-freut-sich.html#omfbLikePost This is a google translation so the English is not great. Some may say it is better than my normal posts. Written by a guy called Phil Gordon who seemingly writes for Kicker. Seemingly he has an anti-Rangers past. No doubt 26th will be able to tell us more.
  25. Ah! Yes, of course. I forgot about that.
