Daily Record sandwich board headline
pete replied to Max Rebo's Big Blue Nose's topic in Rangers Chat
No just in general -
was it not a brother at Lloyds?
-
Passing such info on to message boards was not much use, You could have handed it to the people who could change things. SFA,Police,RST, Rangers Assembly anyone who could do anything about it.

Celtic supporters are having a field day making up as much information they can. The day's when people said "i wish you all the best for the future" are long gone.

Daily Record sandwich board headline
pete replied to Max Rebo's Big Blue Nose's topic in Rangers Chat
You read a Sandwich board sensation headline and feel curios enough to buy the paper and then realise it was a non-story. Been that way for years. -
See if all you people in the Know had passed all this information we may not be in the situation we are now in. "I knew it"is almost always used after the deed has been done.

Is Scottish football being turned into a war zone. With almost every day players, directors, managers the SFA\SPL all shouting their mouth off in the papers wanting Rangers punished, relegated(or not), are they forgetting the fact that Rangers are accountable for a reasonable chunk of their yearly budget. Yesterday Jason Brown was shouting his mouth off in the media saying that Rangers should be relegated. If I was the Aberdeen director I would be furious that players of the club are making such statements to the press. Aberdeen are said to be financially walking a fine line. Could a boycott of Pittodrie just be the bullet to put them out of business? All of a sudden supporters are realising what a weapon they have in their hands. The fact that Dunfermline almost collapsed when Rangers withheld their money let supporters see how near to the precipice some clubs are running. Rangers and Celtic supporters could possibly bring clubs down at will. The money Sky pumps in may be a cushion for most clubs but if the war begins for real then the carnage created could see the demise of some of the weaker clubs and put Scottish professional football in serious danger. The football authorities should think of this, and instead of running about like headless chickens thinking up sanctions to punish Rangers with, they should get back down to the business of negotiating to get the clubs all running in the same direction. The people who created this disastrous situation, Murray and Whyte, have fled the roost and will never be running a football club again. It is time to make sure these thing can never happen again and not be brewing up a war zone

Chic Young, Bill Leckie, Jim Traynor, Derek Johnston, Andy Walker,Gerry McNee, Graham Spiers, John Hartson, Mark Hately. Among the best in the world. I will take that with a pinch of Salt.

And that would probably be more than we would earn in Europe.

Can we leave the clipboard as an asset of the oldco. Lol -
As the Newco will pay the football clubs they won't be creditors and thus not part of the CVA. Jus a thought.

Anyone wanting to run an EK poule can download an excel sheet here to do it. It is in Dutch so you will have to change the team names etc. http://members.upc.nl/w.greefkes/ek/ Just noticed there is an English version.(page)

Not get what? You keep making these statements that mean nothing. I only hope, firstly, that Bill Miller is is genuine. Secondly he employs people who are good at their Job and thirdly Rangers FC can get back to a financial healthy club. We had a full board of Rangers men who sat back and watched David Murray bring our club to it's Knees including the head Smurf (sorry Knight). Some did try and warn us about Whyte but it was all too little too late. No you go with your men in blue I will hope we get real professionals who do a good job no matter of their background. Is that Bill Miller? I will have to wait for the hindsight that seemed to make you an expert on Craig Whyte for that answer. -

Neil McCann a boyhood Celtic fan done okay for us as well. -
I agree maybe not morally or politically wise but i think he will be thinking: Not all Rangers will boycott the Dunfermline games as seen at Dundee UTD and having 1000 gers fans is better than 100 or 200 other team fans. Probably after the first boycott more Rangers fans will not boycott. Either that or he has a SPL place which is also financially better.

Craig Whyte was a Rangers man and look what that got us. Where are all the big Rangers supporting Millionaires hiding who could pull us out this shit. I just want professionals running our club whatever nationality, race or creed they are. -
Agree but if Rangers are relegated one division we will either be in the same league as Dunfermline giving them extra money or they will keep their SPL status. A win win situation for him. Not so daft is Mr Yorkston.

Good to see a bit of loyalty in a footballer for a change. Well done Ross!
