Neither did I.

There is just a small chance that Craig Whyte did the very same. 18mill debt cleared with Lloyds and run up 15million debt leaving a profit of 3million and you can add a probable extra 75 million on to that. Then he sells his shares for the 1 pound he bought them for. I feel there is a puppet master pulling some strings to be honest. Or am I getting carried away with another conspiracy story? Just a thought.

I answered with this on another thread. This statement makes me very nervous: "we know we need hundreds of millions to be successful at this level." I have said often on here a conman will tell you exactly what you want to hear. That story has made me even less trusting as I was.

Craig I totally agree that Ally should be given another chance i am 100% behind that but I have to say that, the loss of the 15 points was because Ally seemed to crap himself when Naismith got injured and raced into defensive mode. I believe we had 7 central defenders playing in one game. Instead of challenging high up the pitch we were retreating to the 16mtr line. I do believe Ally lost us that lead but anyone who never makes a mistake can stand up and throw the first stone. It certainly won't be me.

If Rangers are going to be punished on this then there should be a totally independent inquiry into it. All involved including Whyte should be legally bound to appear. The SFA have been shown up to be totally incompetent in handling anything like an honest inquiry. The Inquiry should also look into the SFA's role in what took place as they had as much a responsibility to make sure any new owners are\were above board. If we deserve to be punished then fair enough but that should not be done by people who also played a role in what went on.

DUFF AND PHELPS AND GANGSTERS? - Leggo's latest conspiracy theory

Funny that was my very first thought as well. -
Yes I think a happy medium has to be found.
-
As said I couldn't care if he had hair lip as long as he runs Rangers properly.
-
No matter what the consequences are? I think it would be stupid to cut off our own noses.
-
Normally I would agree Ian but the SFA\SPL could penalise us for not paying the other clubs. Better not to give them more ammunition as they already have.

I only post when I'm pissed you wouldn't want to read the drivel I come away with when I'm sober.

I thought the verdict of the Tax case was in March, then April, now May, within 90 days. Or was 3090 days? Even my wife can make decisions quicker than the judges.

We do\must now live in hope. Green does talk the talk but they all do. Hopefully he can also walk the walk. As for his Sheffield time hopefully he will have learned from that as we all make mistakes. Even I failed in my first marrage but my second wife has been happily married for 24 years now. God things will be dead over the next few weeks as there will be little news during the cooling off period. No football! I guess we will have to punish ourselves by watching the EK.

More questions than answers....yet again

He will not confirm any other names until the CVA is cleared. He did hint that Shepherd was not true. -
From what I have been reading is that HMRC will not accept the CVA as long as we are going to pay the Football clubs the full amount owed. If that was the case then that may be the time to use the fighting funds account. Then it would be the fans paying the debt. I am sure the consortium could fill up the fighting funds for us to the correct amount. As we paid Dunfermline that way they could not say it was a trick thought of by CG. Just a thought.

Rumour - Straight £8.5m Sale of club No PB status
pete replied to Stefanovitch's topic in Rangers Chat
The London consortium sounds better. -
If Joe Lewis is involved then that would be something big. He did have connections with us before so not really impossible to be true.
-
Why can't this be done through the Fighting fund already in place? Shares could be worked out at a later date.

Paul Murray and Brian Kennedy business History??
pete replied to CumbernauldGers's topic in Rangers Chat
Personally I don't think we should be throwing shite at Kennedy as we may still need him at a later date. We have a chance of losing all bidders with fans acting like morons -
if there's a DEMO tomorrow at 1pm at Ibrox

74. That in the course of the latter part of August 2011 Mr Ken Olverman was contacted by two senior officials of the Customs and Excise (VAT)division of HMRC. Their enquiry was in relation to invoices which had been discovered in the business records of Ticketus which bore to have been raised by Rangers FC. The invoices related to sums of many millions of pounds and the VAT element in each of them had been the subject of offset by Ticketus in the submission of its VAT returns for the last period. Such was the size and impact of this offset of VAT which had been paid by Ticketus in respect of these invoices, that Ticketus had made a claim for payment of a substantial sum to it by HMRC by way of recovery of VAT paid. 75. That Mr Ken Olverman, the Financial Controller of Rangers FC had noknowledge of the existence of the invoices purportedly raised by Rangers FC. The raising of such invoices was a matter which fell squarely within his sphere of responsibility and it was inconceivable that such invoices for such large sums could be raised and issued from the finance office of Rangers FC without his knowledge. He had no knowledge of any agreement with Ticketus which might give rise to any invoice within the period concerned. He was unaware of any current transaction with Ticketus and knew that no sums of money had been received in recent times from Ticketus into any accounts of Rangers FC. 76. That in the course of September 2011 Mr Ken Olverman had sight of the said invoices. The nature and format of the invoices was entirely different to that of invoices raised within the finance office of Rangers FC. He was of the view that it appeared as though â??Clip Artâ? computer processes had been involved in their creation. They did not appear to him to resemble any invoices he had ever seen issued by Rangers FC. Having sight of the invoices confirmed his view even further that they had not been created within the finance office of Rangers FC.

I would think all has closed for the night although someone may be doing Due Diligence to the early hours. I doubt we will be hearing any statements tonight.
