  1. Actually, his big offence was to hold us to ransom and talk like his decision to stay or go was the most important event in the club's history. He can fuck himself.
  2. I think 'respectfully disagree' is a wee bit too PC tbh.
  3. Haha, talk about politically correct
  4. Yes, and in his situation I'd have dived most likely. Just like he did. I'd be throwing custard pies at yours if I could.
  5. The contact was utterly minimal if indeed there was any. The ref got it completely wrong, and I'm disappointed some are defending Aluko. But like you say there has to be parity with similar incidents. Which there doesn't appear to be at present.
  6. You mean he dived. You're defending him because he plays for us. I simply couldn't believe the ref gave the pen, was sure Aluko was getting a yellow. If there was a dislike button, this post would have got it mister
  7. I meant Bendiksen alone gave the ball away a bit towards the end. The faded comment was the one I applied to the other 2 too.
  8. Still leaves me completely undecided about which one to press for Gav's post
  9. Like thanks (as it currently stands) is completely daft because if you liked/agreed/admired someone's post you do not know which one to press. I don't know how I feel about no negative buttons - it annoys me on Facebook that you can't dislike a post, I think being able to say 'dislike' (not that I use it a huge amount) is a symbolically strong way of expressing how you feel about a post. You yourself have used it on me a few times in a completely sensible manner and I didn't take offence - and vice versa - but I do agree that it can be sometimes irritating if someone presses it but doesn't explain why. Maybe it can be coded that if you press 'no thanks' or whatever the button is called you have to give a reason why?
  10. Ok, these new buttons are daft. I don't know whether to 'like' or 'thank' this post. What the hell is the difference?!
  11. We've seen him on the left wing. He was simply atrocious. He's not a winger. He's a left sided CM (a position we're really yet to see him in). I shudder to imagine how bad he'd be on the right wing.
  12. I like the feature, and without wanting to gang up on you I agree with the others that the format could use some improvement. If I'm being honest, I think we should just go back to the old style - the thanks/groans buttons were subtle, but the names of those thanking/groaning weren't. And that's probably the best way. If the wording of how to thank/agree/disagree is up for debate, you could always throw it open to the board to see how we want to word them?
  13. SFA bringing in new laws next season to outlaw terrorist chanting. It will be a fully fledged offence.
  14. Oh be quiet both of you. He's being made a scapegoat and the attention it's receiving is completely outrageous, unfair and close to a lynchmob. But it WAS A DIVE! Stop pretending it wasn't just because he's a Rangers player. I have no complaint if he gets punished for it, but my problem is others aren't being.
  15. Can I ask for the notifications regarding the agree/disagree function to be disabled? I don't really need to log on and be told that such and such has agreed/disagreed with my post.
  16. His best spell for us was as a striker during the Villarreal last 16 season. He became top scorer in the league supported by Tommy Buffel in the hole. That partnership was lethal for us. But Eck saw fit to then put him back on the left wing where he again became ineffective. The guy's a striker.
  17. He started really really well on Saturday but like all 3 of our bright attackers, (Aluko and Wylde) he faded and started to give the ball away, particularly when trying cute passes. But he tries that stuff and has more than an ounce of creativity about him. One point, he's not a kid, he's 22!
  18. Thanks to the likelihood of Aluko now being banned for 2 matches, my blog is pretty much moot. Expect us to struggle without him for those 2 games. Dutchy, I completely take your point - but when you lose your best player you have to compensate for it. We weren't a one man team any more than Barca (Messi) or Real (Ronaldo) are but take them out and you have to find the best system to compensate for losing a key player in a crucial position. I saw signs Ally had done that in the last 2 or so games, but now with a key component of that solution probably gone, we'll have issues again on the right of midfield. We literally don't have anyone other than Aluko and Naisy for that position. Ortiz hasn't done it, and neither has Bedoya.
  19. If you sign a player who's best in that role, then surely you are going to mould the team around said player? If not, why sign him? To play him out of position?
  20. He left because we didn't pay him enough.
  21. Ok, giving it a go on my mobile. I'll have to talk crap to fill up the text box. No change there then. Ok, running out of things to say. End of text box and alas it did not work That wink was supposed to be a sad face. Still goes out of the box and doesn't scroll down. Guess I'll just have to keep mobile posts short!
  22. The circled image isn't close to being conclusive. In fact you could make a strong case for it showing the foot made no contact with his at all - I don't see any part of the Dunfermline lad's foot actually being in front of Aluko's foot. It looks behind to me. At best it doesn't help. At worst it proves him guilty.
  23. http://ibroxnoise.blogspot.com/2011/12/fixing-formation-has-ally-answered.html New blog. Has Ally found the solution to our recent system woes?
  24. Zappa, there's no competition for Fleck's position because he's the only one of that type we have. And curiously enough our management do not like to play the system which utilises a player of that nature. Which may be why he's never broken through in the first team. Tommy Buffel found this out to his cost.
  25. While we're on this topic, where do 'bead rattler' 'tarrier' 'taig' etc rank in the rogue terms gallery?
