Four Dunfermline fans arrested over racist chants
Danny replied to ian1964's topic in General Football Chat
What worries me more is that this is a pretty high profile arrest which seems to merit no comment around here. Is that because it's only Rangers fans who are allowed to be paranoid about being targeted? -
Not bowled over nor gutted by this. It strikes me as Rickie Foster on the wings - and he wasn't a bad signing. I'm not expecting much though, I have to say.

Wasn't it Marseille in the summer. Or was that Auxerre...

Difference is Bougherra showed every intent of leaving, while AM showed every intent of staying. Plenty of quotes of Bougherra wanting out, while nothing of that nature could be attributed to AM. This is a concrete quote from Davis showing interest in leaving, something I don't recall from him last January. I think if a good offer came in, he'd want to go and we couldn't stop him.

Anyone got anything on this?

Leggat - chance for celtic to prove they are proud scottish club
Danny replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
He could actually write about Rangers for once. He's as obsessed with Celtic as he is with Spiers. -
That throws up 2 scenarios: 1: We've been watching this guy for a while and know about him. 2: If he's new on the radar, how do we know exactly what his strengths are? And how do we know his team didn't utilitise him correctly? Could he not just have played shit?
-
I'm not entire sure why but I got the Star today, and they run this story. Murray's quote is a bit odd.
-
tbh I would have no issue with him leaving for Leicester - it's a better league and like you say they'll probably offer him a shitload. I'd just be surprised if he does given his ambition.
-
He's said he isn't interested in Leicester.
-
Straight red I think.

I'd say he took advantage of a leading elbow and exaggerated in order to get the guy sent off. The kid did lead with the elbow, and we have the benefit of multiple replays to show it was contentious, but the ref has a split second to decide - and when you see one player lead with an elbow into another's face, it's incriminating. Terry Butcher's rant about it was quite something.

http://ibroxnoise.blogspot.com/2011/11/struggling-for-cohesion.html No panic, yet, but after recent struggles, it's worth examining the state of the side at present.

Official team: McGregor; Whittaker, Goian, Bocanegra, Broadfoot; Bedoya, Edu, Davis, McKay; Jelavic, Lafferty Sounds like a 4-4-2 with Bedoya on the right and McKay on the left.

Tim and hun are not equivalent. Tim and bear are. Hun and fenian are equivalent.

Wee question: what influence does Leggo actually have?

All eyes on Ibrox as McCoist revels in domestic bliss . . .
Danny replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Domestically he's done much better than I expected. That we're yet to lose is incredible, and that we've conceded only...is it one goal away from home is a staggering stat. -

tbf it is. The SPL is a terrible terrible league, but that doesn't alter the fact our record is excellent in this season. -
Maybe as a full back, but we didn't really sign him as one. You do notice he is always on the bench, right? Clearly Ally doesn't rate him much either. Yes, that's why I said every manager makes errors! It's not rocket science. You'll have to quote what I said about Goian and Boca.

The BBC keep covering the IRA chanting thing. And Lennon etc pleading with the fans to quit.
-
I do believe that's why we signed Ortiz. Smashing signing that one turned out to be. All managers make errors in signing at times.

I'm not the only one underwhelmed: http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/983875/charlie-adam-vows-to-prove-himself-at-liverpool?cc=5739 I don't really care about stats when it comes to what I see on the pitch. Whenever I saw him, he looked the same as he did for us. Wow, you really are trying to whore this Aluko chap off! We cannot 'cover' Naismith. I've explained this already. We'd need many millions to sign a player as good as him. I mean, if you want a massively inferior player, sure, Aluko's fine. Potential wingers: Ortiz, Wylde, Bedoya, Fleck, McKay - we have enough players for chief's sake.

Apparently it's a hoax/untrue. The 'source' was supposedly incorrect or lying. If lying, said source should be hung from their testicles. Mistake is human.

I like Naisy a lot - good interview. Not often I praise the Sun for their journalism but it's a good article. Get well bloody soon Steven.

LEGGAT - DAILY RECORD COMPANY MAN BACKS CELTIC IRA SONGS-Exclusive
Danny replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
He is clearly capable of more intelligent writing. Yet chooses the tabloid path. No wonder he's not taken seriously.
