I'm not sure how you can equate what some call "an embarrassing episode" with JB to McCoist lining his pockets to the tune of millions while declaring his undying love for fans and club or what he is still doing, while telling all how hard done by he feels? I know some still hold him in legendary status, fair enough I understand that. Imo he worked that status and the situation at the club and milked it for every penny. That's not the behaviour of a legend.

Ally hasn't done badly out of any of this, which is fine, I have no problem with that, needs to earn a living etc. As I have said before my problem was and is with his "I did it all for the benefit of Rangers and the fans" protestations! After the "unconfirmed" reports of what happened re Ally at the AGM, we should all be done with him.
-
Lol..it's genuinely taken me all this time to figure out why you are "the gunslinger" GS. "Quick on the draw"!! Ha ha. Some of your your one liners and put downs are just like "The Waco Kid".(for all you Blazing Saddles fans)

It would bother me for n the slightest BH if Ibrox became Red Bull Ibrox Arena for example. As long as we keep the Ibrox in there I'm happy. Completely agree we should at least be sounding them out, if we haven't already.

McColloch and Gudi were all over a bear when he mentioned this on snyde! "No chance" they said "don't pay attention" they said? There was genuine fear in their voices!

TB is off on the lash, I'm off to the fu****g dentist.....lol. I too, will be subdued tomorrow, for entirely different reasons though! Nice peice of writing re Fidel and Ali. Imo Cuba is a beautiful island with a huge heart and soul, and whatever some may think of Castro, possibly not without merit, he leaves a huge legacy, one that will never be forgotten and will be documented for the rest of human history. On the subject of the other "reds" lets get in about them. I can accept getting beat, fair enough, what I won't accept is a gutless and spineless performance. Let's leave these sheep pimping brothel hustlers with stud marks they won't forget!.

I still suspect a lot of the players are pig sick of the shit here. Again going back to the SC final, I will ask anyone on here, if people had barged into your work, assaulted you, or had left you feeling threatened. If your managers or police if they were involved, subsequently covered it up and diverted blame from those involved. If nothing had changed after it and no extra security was put in place. Would you ever feel the same again(I wouldn't have went back and would have sued, I digress) seriously though, you would not be able to concentrate, your nerves would be shot, chances are you would be on the sick. You sure as heck wouldn't go back for more. So back to the question. I will say it again, it is the players fault to a degree, however none of them have looked the same since the events that unfolded and the political and footballing cover up that followed. The same could also be said of MW.

Yes NC some of them have been breathtakingly appalling however we are so bad it highlights those decisions. I agree with everyone that many of them have chucked it for one reason or another, so not attempting to defend them.

Even finishing 4th will be good enough this season.

Struggling why anyone is happy to settle for 3/4th when DK has said he expects 2nd? Make no mistake when a chairman indicated his expectations for all to see at an AGM, that with this budget and players he expects second, if they are not realised or look like the they will be, MW, imo, will go. It seemed to me DK was impressing upon us all the financial obsticals that we would face should we not qualify. Second place is what he expects and third may not save MW job although it would qualify us for Europe. -

I didn't see the match GS so am going on reports. As you have all said it was abysmal, I believe it was abysmal. We have been abysmal for weeks. If we are honest, it looks like many of them chucked it weeks ago. I still think a lot are either carrying scars mentally or have taken a look at what's bubbling sinisterly under the surface up here after SC and decided "f**k this". -

Our chairman as good as stated he expects second with our players and budget. -
BH "favours" was not ment in the literal sense, that's why I followed it with "or a level playing field" so please take a breath?. I agree with everyone that we are rotten. I also posted re other possible mitigating factors why we are so poor. Anyway, it seems I have been misunderstood, I agree we are rotten and don't expect favours. I should have highlighted that in general, not last night, we receive some questionable calls. That however has nothing to do with how rank we are.
-
I agree Pete, I'm not suggesting otherwise. My point is simply don't be expecting favours or imo even a level playing field from officials or anyone connected with the establishment. It won't happen.

I have actually read a lot of your posts calscot, particularly in this subject re McCoist. I have to say I agree with you and others on the McCoist issue. As I have already mentioned in other posts I suspect should results not be satisfactory throughout December MW may well be on his way too. Fourth is unacceptable as DK confirmed at the AGM. We can all argue as much as we like, the chairman has stated he expects second with the players and budget at MW disposal. He will need to do something if results are not forthcoming in December. I should also point out that had I thought the players were giving 100% for MW my opinion would be different. It's clear they are not. -
I'm not going the full paranoid just at the minute re officials however I do feel there is a lot of sniggering and back slapping at our expense. I would suspect, just like the voting public, that the majority of referees vote SNP. Don't expect any favours from them. Inherently anti unionist and British, therefore dislike anything and anyone connected to our club.

I don't want anyone to trivialise what I'm going to say here as it's important point that had slipped my mind, until SteveC brought it up. Think about the two games when we have been at our worst. Piggery and Tynecastle when hatred and fans are on top of them. After the SC and what happened they would have been affected, no argument, some more than others but they would have been, no matter how much they or anyone else protests otherwise. It could very well be argued they "freeze" which is a symptom of PTSD. Now before anyone starts being hysterical and making ludicrous comparisons, PTSD comes in many different shapes and sizes. Everyone is different. However, remember what happened that day, if it had just been the lose of the late goal in a cup final, that would have affected many. It wasn't, thousands invaded the pitch. Players were attacked and management staff. In those few minutes players will have feared for themselves as they were approached by thousands, some literally foaming at the mouth. There has been a subsequent cover up from those in political and footballing power. Rangers and their fans are demonised and effigies are hung, depicting executions of orangemen. Players have been subject to abuse and attacks of themselves and family. All this has gone on in the space of only 6 months. Yes, only 6 months. The cover, denials and demonisation goes in. Am I excusing the fact they were shite, no. Am I pointing to factors outwith that are affecting them, mentally, yes.

I suspect many of the players there know they don't have what it takes to cut it at Rangers now we are back and the pressure is on. They know most will be on their way sooner or later and they will never be at a club as big as ours again. As has been said, many have chucked it and are happy collecting the pay check.

I dragged myself out my scratcher at 06.30 and was enjoying the relative calm of a peaceful morning before I read the OP! Fourth?? Aye that's right? I sincerely hope that's a wind up and we don't have a generation of bears who think just above mid table is acceptable, with our budget and fan base, under any circumstances. On a positive note, I do think it's a agent from the farmyard clearly forgetting his medication, hopefully his sister will tuck him up in bed!!(that can be read one of two ways lol you choose) -
That's only two days away!! Good grief, on that note, I'm off! Can't wait for Saturday...............

I will be surprised if MW turned this around? In fairness this could easily have been our third defeat on the trott tonight. It's genuinely difficult to pick a replacement? We have definitely gone backwards and worryingly I don't feel some in the team are giving 100% for MW. I don't see that changing. Makes you think some of them aren't buying it anymore either?. It pains me to say it but I agree that the end is in sight for the manager.
-
I concur!.

There is no reason our side should be intimidated by hearts or Aberdeen for that matter. I don't believe they are. There is something going on we can't see? Something isn't right? It seems we don't have the appetite, why? That's the question.
-
I'm not advocating having the manager sacked, yet, although if we lose the next 2 or 3 games who knows what will happen? Is anyone else beginning to wonder if some of the players aren't giving their all for the manager? I wonder what SDW is making if all this or if he agrees with the tactics? I dare say he would be interested in a managerial position.

Oh ffs!! I fear the worst??
