Time to right a few wrongs - Rangers v Celtic
cooponthewing replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
It's amazing how we all see the game differently lol. One thing is for sure that we all agree on, McKay is rotten, has been all season and there is something that smells worse than a cheap hookers knickers about the MOH situation?? -

My rating for today then..Out of 10.. Gilks 8 Hodson 6 Keirnan 5 Hill 8 Wallace 6 Halliday 6 Holt 7 Tav 6 Windass 7 Miller 6 McKay 4 Subs..Waghorn 2 Garner 1 Dodoo 1. Subs were ineffective. I am in the Windass camp and he does a lot of work, as did Miller running off the ball, I felt Miller ran his socks off. -
I was there again with my sister today TB. It was her first old firm game and I said exactly that as we were walking out as she was saying how she enjoyed the atmosphere. Definitely the poorest atmosphere at an old firm cup game I have ever been too. Then again I wasn't expecting to win, possibly everyone else was the same?.

I just don't see it with Garner?? So we have Garner, Dodoo, MOH, Senderos, Crooks, Rossiter who were not in the starting side today. Gilks and Hodson who 9/10 wouldn't start and Kranjar who is badly injured. They were all MW signings and all with th exception of Kranjar would not start. We then have Barton, some say what happened isn't MW fault. Ok then, was he not aware of what baggage the player had or if his temperament?? Of course he was. So all of the summer signings with the exception of Windass or Kranjar are not improving our team. Who's fault is that? Who signed them? The questions that are at our managers door are mounting. Who is making these signings?? The worst two imho are Garner 1.8m and MOH 500,000k?? The former won't cut it at almost 2mband the latter MW didn't fancy?? Did he not watch him before signing?? Does he not do his homework?? His signings for the most part have been atrocious, we are using 90% last years team. I would not feel comfortable writing MW a cheque for more millions. Questions need answered. -
I didn't know some idiot had said that online NC. What a sad place we live in. Completely agree re the sinister element. That runs from the top in politics, through the police, into the media, spread to schools and trickles down into every section of Scottish society. We are a second class marginalised section of Scottish society now, and it will only get worse imo.

We are charging the same on Hogmanay to be fair. £50 is obscene though I agree. Although I and 7k others were happy to pay it. Clubs know they will get the money. -

I mostly agree Pete, I posted very similar to what you are saying. -

Haven't read the comments so don't know what's being said. Not long back sooooooooo... It was a long long 87mins before they scored. We were lucky to only lose 1-0, in truth it could have and probably should have been a lot more. I am hearing comments on the radio that we have closed the gap etc. Sorry, I don't see it. We were more compact today and defended for our lives. If some feel the gap had closed, fair enough but I don't. They had 24 shots on target we had 8, they had 58% possession we had 42%. MOH will never get a gam under MW, who knows why? He's the manager, and let's be honest McKay had been shite all season. Keirnan is a bomb scare but we know this. We had nobody else. I did however think that Tav and Hodson worked well and the midfield of Halliday/Holt and Windass looked a good unit. Again the truth is, we are sadly lacking in the final third. Imho Garner won't cut it and not sure about Dodoo?? I wasn't expecting much today, we are way behind them and MW is deluded to think the gap had closed?? Listening to his interview he sounds relatively content with a 1-0 defeat. I have a question though. Taking onboard his transfer dealings over the summer and the fact that I and many argue that they have been mostly poor to woeful, if there was money available could we honestly say that he could be trusted to use it wisely?? I have already passed my own judgement on it, and it's not favourable. Onwards to Wednesday! We have two must wins coming up v StJohnstone and Kellie. Our push for third place is paramount. -

It's here! Just over 3 hours to go. I'm stuck in the Karzy at the moment, went a bit overboard on the vegetables last night, going to weigh myself when I get off here ha ha!! Going to head to Hampden about noon. Let's get right in about them bears!. WATP! -
Rangers scout Frank McParland a golden nugget hunter?...

I agree JH. The summer signings have with the exception of Kranjar been at best largely ineffective and at worst a complete waste. MW has been given a free ride over his transfer signings when in truth, any other manager would be getting dogs abuse. We are largely playing the same side as last year, I'm sorry for most who are cheerleading MW, and I'm not slating him, I'm simply pointing out that if it was anyone else, people would be on the Valium!! It's bad management in that department. You can argue most of the blame is at Mcparlands door, however MW is paid to be the manager, the buck stops there. -
The argument against having everyone back is that we just give the ball straight back to them. We need to cover both posts though, but then again, basic defending on a consistent basis of dead balls would be a start.

Don't know if I would fancy that walk along Vicky road Boabie lol. Running the gauntlet more like!

How can the match commander who was in charge at the CF still be supervising this game?? I would presume someone further up the food chain has their hand up his arse and pulling his strings like a good little choirboy!! -
It's usually not a bad shout to just walk up to shawlands cross. Get a bus from there. It will be mobbed anyway you go TBH.

Celtic and Rangers could finally quit Scottish football...
cooponthewing replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
This will happen within 10 years. If not before. It will be a closed shop CL within 5. -
Both! Seriously though I would play Gilks, he deserves his chance and if he does well he should be given the gloves.

I booked this for my sister and her man for the last game at the scum hut. She said the atmosphere was good although she did say make sure you are early as seats are limited. Also the pie and pint thing is what it says, it is only a pint you can order, my sister didn't drink pints so her man ended up with two as they wouldn't do a glass of wine, she bought a drink. It goes without saying it's not the cheapest place that go, but if your looking for a place to go with bears and a good atmosphere it's as good as any. Oh, the pies are match day standard.......

Shades come in very handy around the pool, if you catch my drift!?Haha!
