  1. I don't know, this is what we've been hearing. How do we know he isn't going to clear the debt though?.
  2. Craig, how do you know that he won't?. What part have AJ and the board played in their scrutniy of his take over?.
  3. There is a lot we don't know about CW,but that doesn't mean it's bad.Rangers FC need a new owner and we are getting one who is going to clear the debt,if we have no debt then we will grow stronger, and he's a bear.
  4. You forgot to add this:fish: to your post:boogie:
  5. But we can be in fear of anyone who is going to take over the club, unless we know all about them.Your concerns may well happen, obviously we all hope not,but at the end of the day there isn't exactly a line up of candidates waiting to buy the club and we need someone to come in and buy us or we will continue to die.
  6. Why??????,what do you know about him that none of us know?.
  7. That may scupper his £50m move to Manure/Barca:whistle:

On a positive note I reckon der hun have the harder run in and if justice is done they can't win the league, we are the better side. We've carved one half of their name into the trophy with that performance and result. After a week of Jelavic, Naismith and Davis all telling the press we would bottle it we went ahead and did exactly that. Top of the league for pretty much all of 2011, seven points taken off Rangers and here we are hoping for a miracle. Just baws.

The defence was a shambles the midfield overrun and the forwards ineffectual - Training game mentality from start to near finish and its supposed to be a Championship run-in. A team of journeymen overran them and why not any urgency throughout the team ? Title on a plate for Huns now who will convert a huge amount of goals in the run-in after the boost that gave them. Lenny you needed to kick their arse at halftime - looks like you did'nt. The substitutions were less than inspiring - why Murphy why not a more mobile option in Sammy ? I cannot believe how naive Lennon was with his team selection, and how utterly devoid of ideas and passion he was throughout the game. The entire side was too lightweight, we took this game too lightly and now the huns will win the league. We've dropped so many clangers over the years but this is the worst, another chance to bury them wasted because of ICT? Not good enough, if Lennon fails to win the cup he should go.

  17. STEVE Davis last night revealed he wants to extend his stay at Rangers. The Northern Ireland international is out of contract at the end of next season but is keen to get tied up on a new long-term deal. Davis knows a contract extension could depend on Craig Whyte's proposed takeover being completed and insists that is more important than his contract talks. The 26-year-old midfielder is one of Rangers most prized assets, along with goalkeeper Allan McGregor and Madjid Bougherra, and would attract interest from the Premier League if the Ibrox outfit were forced to cash in during the summer. Davis has been a key member of Walter Smith's second stint at Rangers, having been signed initially on loan from Fulham in January 2008 before joining in a £3 million move at the end of that campaign. Davis admits he is happy at Rangers and not interested in moving on as he wants to stay at the club. Hopefully after that, the boys who are coming towards the end of their deals can look at sorting something out Davis said: "It's just a matter of seeing what happens with the takeover first and everyone is concentrating on that just now. "Hopefully after that, the boys who are coming towards the end of their deals can look at sorting something out. "There are a couple of us in the same situation and I would like to stay on because there is no better club to be playing at in the world from my point of view. "If you ask any of the boys, they will tell you this is a great place to come in and work at every day. "Even with the tough times we've had, we're settled as a group and a lot of that can be put down to the manager and his backroom staff. "They have kept us away from a lot of the stuff behind the scenes and made sure this is an enjoyable place for us to be at. "We've had a good amount of success over the last couple of seasons. I'm happy here and hopefully I can extend my stay." Read more: http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/244827Steve-Davis-tells-Rangers-he-wants-to-stay-longer#ixzz1LTDY8il1

  22. May 5 2011 James Traynor CRAIG WHYTE will today jet in to finally seal his £25million Rangers takeover. The Motherwell-born businessman is hoping to end six months of long, drawn-out negotiations when he and his legal team complete the fine details. He will hold a meeting with current owner Sir David Murray in the capital and it's believed the deal will be sewn up by close of play on Friday at the latest. Whyte's fight to assume power has featured a barrage of bitter finger-pointing and counter accusations. He even had to contend with a late rival bid from Ibrox director Paul Murray. But finally Whyte is on the verge of victory after convincing main critic Alastair Johnston that he has the money to give Ally McCoist funds to strengthen his squad for next season. Although there are still two members of that independent Rangers board to ratify the bid it's believed Whyte has done enough to push through his deal and silence his detractors - especially chairman Johnston, who gave it his seal of approval before flying to China on business. Lloyds Banking Group had already accepted Whyte as the preferred option but there were still sticking points. Those have now all but been fixed. The news will be greeted with relief and delight by McCoist who hasn't been able to properly plan for his first season as boss, and the fans who at times feared for their club's short-term future. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/football/spl/2011/05/05/craig-whyte-jetting-in-to-seal-rangers-takeover-after-alastair-johnston-approves-move-86908-23108372/
  23. What was also obvious from the television coverage of the game, was the problem Celtic continue to have with their fans repertoire of terrorist supporting songs. No matter how hard ESPN tried to mute them, the Celtic flying column's bellowing of support for the IRA was once again clearly heard. I wonder of Matt DICKinson took a look at the match, and if he did, did he hear these songs? Will we be reading his take on the Celtic songbook in the Times of London? Does he think songs giving heroic status to IRA murderers and terrorists are more appropriate than the Union Flag? I am not going to be holding my breath. At 5 May 2011 00:29 , Anonymous Willhelm said... 5 mins - Oh aah up the Ra 11 mins - Krissy Commons, makes the huns look shite 15 mins - Join the IRA 18 mins - Roll of Honour 19 mins - BOTOB (ESPN Tried to mute this) 20 mins - St Patricks Fenian Band one 23 mins - Roll of Honour again 28 mins - Roll of Honour again 30 mins - Paddy McCourts fenian army And there was Liewell informing the world yesterday, it's a Rangers only problem. Here we have songs about serial killers and murderers, yet not one in the media or from mad Kearney. On a cheerier note - here's to 3 in a row. GIRFUY
