  1. I predict a win every week but then again so do most others. And in that respect so do most of the professional pundits and the bookies too. As for the sheep very few if any of these professional pundits and bookies will be predicting anything other than a Rangers win on Sunday. So i'm actually just typical. Hell even one of their own players is saying this in the record today. He's saying that because he knows as well as I do that we're well capable of 'blowing them out of the water' on Sunday.
  2. I don't recall ever predicting blowing anyone out of the water in a game then losing. I don't recall predicting blowing anyone out of the water at all. I have predicted a better league position which didn't pan out but that's something else entirely. And I still say we're a far superior side to the sheep. In my view Spartak are a better side than anything else in the SPL including the lauded yahoos. In the end we didn't get the desired result but we did outplay them and on another night it could have been a comfortable win such as that against Rapid at Ibrox. After everything that has happened over the past few years I can understand the reluctance of those with a slightly superstitious bent to say we will beat anyone but I'm not superstitious, I'm simply looking at what I see in front of me. And what I see is a far better side than the sheep have. The realistic among the sheep who watched that last night were left terrified about what awaits them on Sunday and have been expressing fears of being 3 down by halftime. I simply feel exactly the same as they do from the evidence of my own eyes. They know we're a far better side than them and I know it too.
  3. I mentioned what you're saying. I only need eyes to see it for the proof that we're a class above the sheep in particular. As for hibs who also lost at Livi they have had an easier run than us. Let's see how they look after playing both sheep and Hearts away in the next few weeks. The Euro quality of play and consistency just has to come under this management team who have led us to a Scottish record unbeaten run in Europe. And that is something any fan of any team in the country would be boastful about. Do you really think sheep hearts and hubz could compile a Euro run like that? We're getting there quicker than I thought we would with such a squad overhaul and new management. Just under a quarter of the way through the season. I expect us to blow the sheep out of the water Sunday. But that will be nothing to be boastful about because we're a class above them. ?
  4. Yahoos aside to me it's a demonstration of how much better we are than the rest of the SPL and though we haven't yet fully demonstrated that in domestic competition it has to come. Gerrard was right, we're a class above the likes of the sheep etc. The evidence of that lies in an unbeaten 11 game Euro run which is apparently a Scottish record and the fact that we're in at all while sheep and hubz are not. Play like that from the outset on Sunday and the sheep will be sheared by halftime. McInnes knows this and I feel we're going to need a referee protecting us from frankly total brutality as they try everything in the grab and kick handbook to stop us employing our class. In a way i'm glad Morelos wont be playing because he would be the first target.
  5. Yes indeed, now the expectations are that we win home games against anybody and qualify from this group which is now a realistic expectation.
  6. There was some great play on show tonight especially from Kent. Spartak will be more than happy to have escaped with a point and make no mistake that's a quality side we just totally outplayed.
  7. Defending was their greatest talent and even then we could/should have scored. Have to be happy with how impressive we look at this level. Carry that into the SPL and we will be sweeping the dross aside with ease. I still think the best is yet to come as this side develops and gels further. And better than this will be magnificent.
  8. I thought the Morelos booking tonight was rather soft too. The defender was arms all over him as he waited for the ball to come in. He was pushing him off which the guy made a meal of and out came the card. But I was cringing when Morelos continued to mouth about it. The ref was behind him glaring at him as if he was just waiting for a chance to get out another card. He needs to shut his mouth after these incidents. It's dome and no amount of mouth will change it.
  9. In my view he certainly let them away with a lot while booking ours for relatively minor transgressions.
  10. We were dominant from start to finish, totally outplayed them. Still unbeaten after 11 Euro matches and still sitting in a qualification spot at the halfway stage. None of us realistically expected to be in these groups at all. Have to be content with anything we get from it including the £15 million or so.
  11. What a player Kent.
  12. This is agonising. So many chances and still not a goal. If we can win this I really feel we can qualify from this group as things stand after the Villarreal result.
  13. We're looking good but Spartak are shite. In the view of the sheep forum that is. Obviously a £95 million pound squad is nothing in comparison to their league 1 rejects and freebies. And, an example bleat. ?
  14. Might have to throw in Lafferty in the last 30 minutes or so if it stays like this. Question is who to pull. Morelos is battling away well but i'm now concerned about him being on a yellow. I even feared a red when the ref followed him for mouthing off at the end of the half.
  15. Kent has been our best player. Proving his quality at a higher level.
  16. Shut the *@%* up Morelos.
  17. We're playing good football. Play like this on Sunday and Gerrard will be proven emphatically correct in saying we're a class above the sheep.
  18. So far we're the most dangerous team by a long way. Spartak have presented little to no threat.
  19. So Uefa just released the money being paid to last seasons Euro participants. And that doesn't include gate money. On the down side as far as we're concerned. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/45977983
  20. This is undoubtedly a tough one, the Spartak squad are valued at £95 million on transfermart. Spartak Moscow I'm still confident we can pull it off and hope for Villarreal and Rapid to play out a draw leaving us clear at the top of the group.
  21. Liverpool 3-0 up and coasting. Salah scores to put them 2-0 up on the stroke of halftime then nets a 51st minute penalty for his 50th Liverpool goal in 65 games. Incredible ratio.
  22. And perhaps never anything but difficult home or away. Napoli currently 0-1 ahead away to PSG. Liverpool winning 1-0 in the groups other tie.
  23. I calculated that with the UEFA money from the qualifying rounds plus the base fee for the group stage and the earnings from points to this stage the club has earned £4.4 million so far and that's not including gate money. If you include say around £4 million from gate money so far it's a tidy sum that can help propel us far ahead of all but one of the league opposition. And at least two more home gates still to come and potentially more money for points. But at the end of the day it's the tens of millions for CL qualification we desperately need. And that's exactly why the Europa league money is a welcome bonus but winning the domestic league has to take priority over anything else.
  24. Perhaps so but we find ourselves in a situation where every point is precious thus forced to go with what appears to be the most effective option rather than possible potential. Hopefully Kent becomes ours too but currently that's debatable. Every good performance and quality goal such as the one he hit on Sunday could increase his value to the point he's beyond our range.
