They came when duty called!

Bluenoses are born not manufactured We do not choose, we are chosen Those that don't understand don't matter Those who understand need no explanation

With the dodgy decisions they have benefited from in recent weeks, added to the momentum gained from winning the two OF's, means I think Celtic will now win their remaining three fixtures. They will have plenty of rest between games and only have one target to aim for. Fortunately we can afford to slip up in one of ours and still bring the league title home.

Sorry poorly written, Fergie''s name was mentioned more in respect of the quality he brings to the side.

Celtic star Aiden McGeady caught up in street clash

Can't disagree with that. -
You know it makes sense Pete Calscot, you're right re: Barca, but there's no guarantees Barca will finish in the top two, Man U and Chelsea will. If Liverpool win it finishing fourth we would have to qualify, same if Barca win it but don't finish second. That's because from their league placing they would only qualify for the final qualifying round, so winning it would promote them into the group stages proper and see the SPL winners needing to negotiate the final qualifying round.

C'mon Man U and Chelsea. Normally wouldn't really care, but that final guarantees the SPL winners a spot in the groups!

Celtic star Aiden McGeady caught up in street clash
Super_Ally replied to pete's topic in Rangers Chat
Where was that reported? I like the way we've all just assumed McGeady is the innocent party. In another paper I read a report which attempted to give both sides of the story. In that report McGeady's pal defended him. Another party suggested McGeady was the perpetrator rather than the victim. Now the report was inconclusive and you'd need to await the outcome of any investigation, but it did not reflect well on McGeady. He sounds as if he wrongly attacked a guy who was in a group that were giving the players "banter". Now the verbal abuse may have gone beyond banter, but it is suggested that the "victim" was telling his mates to tone it down when McGeady head butted him and punched him a few times. As with the piece quoted earleir by a Mr O'Hare it may not be the whole truth, so lets not jump the gun. McGeady has a reputation for cowardly assaults on the field (he injured Burke last year with one such example), at least he does for me, so it would be in keeping with his character. -
McCulloch, Adam and Burke all back so soon. They may not have the quality or consistency of a Cuellar or a Fergie, but I was expecting those three, particularly the first two not to play again this season. When you look at the teams that started the games against Fiorentina and Celtic, and that which ended the game versus Celtic, the return of 3 midifelders to bolster the squad should be warmly welcomed. Expecially when you consider we had not a single recognised left midfielder available to take the field in the last two games. Such a scenario seems impossible for a squad that has four left sided midfield players, at least, to choose from. Increases competition for places and brings quality, trickery, strength and aerial power and the occasional piece of sublime football to win any game back to the squad. Certainly I will be much happier going into the midweek tie with Motherwell with our list of casualties reduced.

I agree with your first line. Which is why I wonder one team with whom he had very little ties was allowed to postpone a game, whilst the opposition who had to watch him die on the field were not allowed a postponement?
-
Good idea.
-
Uh huh. Couple of people have asked to see it who didn't see the game.
-
Am in that? Wont load past Vieri coming on.

:box: Lol, just thought the STV highlights might have been posted online.
-
By the way anyone seen a youtube link with my crazy self on it?
-
WHilst I too some extent understand the arguement about Novo being a good impact sub, I reckon with the squad missing so many players he has to start.
-
Got some amount of abuse today. Even my Gran's pal saw me! All autographs will be sent on receiving money through a paypal link. Lol at the suntan man. Mate of Andrew_2010's though so best not say too much.
-
Wouldn't go that far though.
-
I deserve the slagging, but I was cold and it was club colours! A hooped top needs doing though as you say.
-
In my defence Walter started the game with the team I predicted man for man, position for position. He ended it with 10 of the 11 players I said I would start with, with just Broadfoot remaining on instead of Novo. I think I called it pretty well.

Missed your reply and forgot Craig's too. We wore hoops before the clatty clan. Not that it's like them to steal anything though!
-
Thanks for the responses guys. Calscot, I was in my mates season ticket seat, so the guy wanting to murder me was probably a fan in the Copeland not used to having his peace and quiet disturbed. :fish: He's a friend of my pal, I dunno. They were well warned of my antics and weren't disappointed. Cheers Craig, no doubt I did. From the text's it defeinitely sounds like it. Lasly Bluedell, JonC provided the time, you now know who to avoid if you ever see me at a game. :rfc:

I was seen on tv by friends, family and the viewing public near full time. Our final corner and I was giving it the big C'mon Rangers. Got text at full time by at least a dozen people and was a bit embarrassed/curious by what they meant. Anyway, anyone got a link to videos of the game that include this? I was the nutcase wearing the blue and white striped hoody in the Copeland Front behind the goal. :o

Maybe, maybe not. David O'Leary, not highly rated, took over after they'd finished 16th and immediately took them to 6th, before subsequenly slipping up again. Should've been in Europe but for the ridiculous decision to have Millwall in as Cup runners up. All the extra money from Randy Lerner helsp too compared to the lack of funds releases by Deadly Doug.
