Although I have not read it is the Taylor report not flawed? The issue at Hillsborough (that sparked the Taylor report) was not stadning but serious overcrowding due to the police not enforcing order properly and just throwing the gates open to everyone casuing the crush was it not?

Engelaar was very good last night, although entirely different player to Fergie imo Pete. Got a nosebleed when going forward. There was one passage of play second half where if it had been a player more comfortable on the ball Holland might have scored another counter attacking goal. Engelaar would maybe compliment Fergie playing a deeper role in the middle in a 4-4-2.

If they go ahead with this I will not be renewing my membership and will email them to explain why. Rangers and Scotland for me. Just cannot agree with this.

I'm the other way round. Yes he tried to ingratiate himself with the mhanks. but that is not my major concern. I am worried we are wasting important transfer funds on a striker who couldn't score in the proverbial barrel of fannies. He's like a jammie fan who;s conned his way into a team. Blood and guts, runs around like a "mad yin", has a bit of pace but is clueless and lacks actual footballing ability.

I a bit concerned too mate. The mystery around this is only going to heighten that. Understand your right to keep it private though and hope everything is ok, both personally and within the RST. Hopefully they will function just as well without yourself and the other members.

If he does turn up and by some minor miracle actually scores a goal I can just see myself celebrating like mad as I normally do when we score, only to get a sinking feeling when I realise who's got it. Hope I'm wrong and once he's here I can just get on with and support everyone on the field as its the best for the club. Shite shite footballer. Ah, a return to the lazy argument for those who just aren't willing to give him a chance. Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes truth. There have been some clear improvements in his game despite not getting a run in the side. His link up play for Beasley who proceeded to miss an absolute sitter on 20-25 mins was exceptional. Actually give him regular games and it will assist his improvement. I don't understand peopel who dismiss the most important aspect of teh game because he doesn't run around like Kenny Misser. Boyd does his work in the most important place. Goals win games. Some people need to get this idea into their heads. And what praise are you on about. A player with Boyd's ability should be getting more praise. Seriously undervalued. How many games does he get against the "bigger" teams. Against Dundee Utd in the CIS cup final he saved our skins twice before winning the penalty shoot out. I'd argue that's was in a big game against a big side. No free kicks or pens (in normal and added time). Those who want rid frankly do not understand the most basic concept of the game. Some fans stupidity is frankly frightening.

Well thank fuck for Kris Boyd. Without him we might not have won f.a this season. Single handedly won the CIS and not far different yesterday. First name on team sheet every week. Goals win games. Boyd wins games. Miller, Cousin, Sebo all gtf. I don't know if we could attract/afford a better goalscorer.

How he plays ahead of Boyd I'll never know. Only interested when he thinks a EPL manager is watching. Boyd had a very decent game against St Mirren and and it's a disgrace he was dropped for the waster Cousin.

Aye we're about 24th ranked team in Europe next season. Possibly a chance of 2nd pot in the CL proper if we make it. Can't be arsed to look up Bert Kassie's site atm but will take a look later on.

Publicly Walter will say we're ahead of schedule. Privately I wonder if he will see this as opportunity lost. And not just with hindsight of the way the season panned out. We've seen it a million times. One team supposedly dominating. Change of manager, instant league success for the previously struggling side.

I think Beasley's contribution is over-egged by some fans. Sure he scored a nice goal in Lyon and was defensively more sound than I expected. However he was unwilling to take a man on more often than not. Unforgivable when you are one of the few players on the field tasked with providing the creativity or space by beating a man. He looked ok at Ibrox and sometimes in Europe when he was given time and space on a large open field. Particularly away in the SPL he was a waste of a jersey. Hutton huge loss. McGregor would've been if it were not for the emergence of Alexander who is an exceptional back up. Beasley might have helped in Europe, but we made the final and I cannot see him being the difference against that Zenit side.

"Balls out the bath on this one". But A European Final and two cups (as bmck states elsewhere) just wont cut it, if the miracle of miracles doesn't happen again tonight. I get f ucked off with some of the fans on FF who are not realistic, but I realise I myself am just as bad. We should win the league every year imo. In fact John Greig said it best before Zenit; "First and foremost, i'm a Rangers man. And I beleive we should win every competition we enter every season". Don't get me wrong. I know what Walter has done is exceptional. From where we were, 20 points adrift and winning fuck all (if only PLG got a chance ) to Euro final, last day league shoot out and 1 possibly 2 cups. But I think Walter will agree with me. It's the nature of the beast. It is maybe why I don't mind "ugly" football when we're winning, because winning is everything. First is Champions, second is nowhere. I think this season shows that our squad was not that fair behind the ****'s one that walked it. A few key signings and we're neck and neck. In fact we would have won the league but for our own success in every competition this season. The tims are benefitting from our success particularly abroad. However, as I state, the point of this is that second just is not good enough. That does not mean that Walter should go, or he has one more season or x amount of games. It is merely the standard that everyone at Rangers; Chairman, manager, players, fans, tea lady aspires to every year. We're either Champions or we're nothing. And that is the motivation to use to ensure that more often that not that is exactly where we finish. I'm immensely proud of the boys this season. However next year I demand more. I want the title!

I notice a few posts with him getting people's backs up? I thought it was just English fans who hated him because "he got Rooney sent off" by quickly nipping off the field and getting some �£30 software to make it look like Rooney stamped on Carvalho's (I think) nuts. Awesome player. Got rid of any/most perceived naughtiness in his game (lets be honest who doesn't try to gain an unfair advantage anyway). Quite possibly the best player in the world atm. Missed the game cz of work. Got the big one off last week so didn't mind missing the diddy final. But was suprised he scored. Has failed to shine in some big games. Good luck to the lad though. He's a joy to watch.

Was linked with Chelsea or Arsenal, I forget which. As Hughes sound pound for pound, best stiker in the prem in terms of goal return. Hard to argue with that. Especially with the club he's done it at.
