  1. Yes we may only be getting snippets of info. However it is a fact that D&P said Whyte was irrelevant yet they have not delivered him. It is a fact that D&P took Ticketus to court yet the situation is still unclear there. Even this morning they now appear to be back-tracking on their statement from Friday - or at least changing it. I honestly don't know I'd they are at it or just incompetent. No matter the delays are extremely problematic.
  2. I'd fancy Monday will see a preferred bidder named. Not sure any bidder will be eager to pay the £500K exclusivity fee though given D&P's failure to deliver Whyte's holding and clarify Ticketus situation, not to mention HMRC uncertainty.
  3. I sympathise with FS's point of view. I too found the Ng being a fan comments rather fanciful & I think he'd have been better served not mentioning it - even if it is true. In saying that his team's scarves seem a bit of a coincidence. Generally though if that's all people can pull him up for, I'm quite happy. FWiW, I agree that the bid is still light in content but the lack of info on some aspects is understandable. I'm sure the gaps will be filled in in due course. I'd like to see the other bidders be as pro-active in seeking out debate. We'd be happy to host a similar session for either of them.
  4. Please folks - no arguing over stuff, that's counter-productive, We all want the best for the club and until we know more, folk are right to ask questions. The Asian-Pacific bid (told to emphasis that now) understands that and simply ask for time before revealing more in due course.
  5. Not sure if they'll do that but we'll soon find out.
  6. Ask stuff here as well and I'll try to include.
  7. This will go ahead at 3pm today
  8. Clearly some stuff won't be answered but I'd told them there's not much point in doing it if it's a whitewash... Hopefully it will be worthwhile and they'll concede some ground.
  9. I'm sure someone will do that as it happens...
  10. I'd rather not divulge that for the moment but feel free to ask them when the Q&A happens.
  11. Guys, Have managed to persuade my Sing bid contact to have a Q&A on Twitter. Date and time still to be confirmed but hopefully this will happen very soon.
  12. I'd hope what you say is correct.
  13. Bidders aren't convinced that would be the case but I'd hope there was some sort of contract involved to assure it.
  14. That's apparently not the case.
  15. Apologies for the confusion: The £500K is the 14 day exclusivity fee but those involved feel the fee is excessive, non-refundable, non-deductible and may not go into the creditor's pot either. It is by no means a certainty you'll be the winning bid in any case. It will be interesting to see if any bidder is willing to pay this. All a bit confusing and frustrating.
  16. All signals point to HMRC not opposing a CVA as long as Whyte is not involved.
  17. It's a well-informed piece. My information is that if you're prepared to pay £500K to D&P for exclusivity then you may have a better chance than a better bid. Once again D&P seem eager to put their own financial situation ahead of the betterment of Rangers Football Club. Unacceptable.
  18. I'll bid a hard punch in the pus and a 5 year stay at Her Majesty's pleasure.
  19. As always folks lets avoid getting personal.
  20. CB: I'd imagine he has other advisers who would have recommended the relevant people. I actually don't mind the KPMG contribution because it will also hopefully bring fiscal accountability into the mix.
  21. I'm sure their names will be released soon enough... Also, KPMG are only one advisor. Recommendations will also have come from more relevant people.
  22. To be fair KPMG are only one advisor but I agree with your general point. Hopefully once the names are released we'll feel a bit more comfortable.
  23. For clarity: Bill has never done business with SDM or any of the proposed Board. Of course you may ask why does he want to appoint them if he has never dealt with them? Answer is, Bill's advisers in UK (including KPMG) have recruited them as the ideal team to deliver the objectives.
  24. Does the stadium being listed as Freehold in the creditors report affect that? Again forgive my ignorance here...
  25. Welcome to the forum mate!
