  1. Before I start posting info, I'd also like to make it clear that this information isn't to detract from other bids or an attempt to discredit them. Again, I am completely neutral and only want our fans to have as much information as possible about what is happening.
  2. Haha - was excellent thanks mate. Still recovering though!
  3. Guys, Today I've had a long conversion with a direct associate of one of the bidders for the club. I'm busy just now but about 8pm I'll be posting as much of that info as I can. Suffice to say I'll be doing this from a position of complete neutrality and I do NOT favour this bid over any others. I have a variety of opinions on all bids and only the Club9 worries me because of links to Craig Whyte. See you at 8pm - I'll try and answer any questions then as well.
  4. Gentlemen - please refrain from the nonsense about other posters - be them admin or not. Everyone is entitled to disagree and, as always, this shoulld be done with respect for your fellow bear. If not, and if threads continue to be blighted by off-topic personal crap, then don't be surprised to see your post edited and your rights temporarily removed. I'm about to leave to go to Liverpool for the weekend. I expect less confrontation when I return.
  5. You mean your motor leaves East Lothian?? I thought it cut out at the Jet garage.
  6. Received - status changed. This could prove quite profitable. All proceeds to my pasties and petrol stocks*! * This means I can get to Ibrox with a full belly putting money into the club and not Azure.
  7. Remember there is expected to be big queues. Bob usually leaves early right enough!
  8. I think that includes the £3.6million. In essence the borrowings from Ticketus less the £18million paid to the bank...
  9. Hoping to have some info on the Singaporean bid before I leave for a messy stag weekend in Liverpool tomorrow...
  10. £20 by Paypal to become part of the clique. Have pm'ed you my address...
  11. Well obviously there are two sides to every story and without being there we don't know exactly what happened. However, walking out of a meeting is at best unprofessional and only lends weight to the argument Regan will not debate with other points of view. The continual cuts in the Alex Thomson interview infer the same almost happened there.
  12. Other journos reckon Kennedy will make another offer.
  13. Perhaps mate - hopefully the joke isn't on us!
  14. It is interesting how there appear to be peaks and troughs in the coverage of the overall story. With April approaching the FTT decision must surely be imminent. Moreover, with the administrators nearing making their own report, the jostling for position will become apparent.
  15. One suspects you know more than you're telling. Out with it...
  16. Hopefully that money is used to pay our SPL debts to remove the chance of further sanctions against the club.
  17. [More to follow] http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17550253
  18. IN some ways I wouldn't have minded. Despite the deplorable actions of Dundee Utd & Dunfermline previously, I'd rather our club paid its debts - especially if it affects our standing in terms of discipline with the SFA/SPL. As such, IMHO, it's not the end of the world if that money goes to the club who then pays our moral dues. However, I can see the point in that people were told the money was going to the club - not directly to creditors.
  19. That's true but the difference in publicity is interesting given the similarities in the way they were allegedly treated.
  20. I think all bidders will want that now. Hillier on Twitter (seems a fair, educated sort) suggests it will take several more weeks before they make decision on the latter.
  21. They have pledges of cash from a variety of people but haven't moved any further forward than that apparently.
  22. I don't think he's any more of a favourite than anyone else at the moment. Although I am hearing the Blue Knights bid is continuing to have planning issues.
  23. I do find it interesting that McIntyre was able to settle quietly while Bain wants to do so publicly.
  24. All fair questions. I myself decided not to put money into the fund until the administrators published their report. Whilst the work by the RFFF and associated projects is admirable, the information vacuum means I can't commit my own cash until I know exactly where it will go.
