Is/Was Adam actually a Rangers fan? I'm sure I read somewhere he wasn't? Also, at what point does MIH say enough and litigate if the accusations are so untrue?

That's an agreeable viewpoint but whose to say a Rangers man (or men) couldn't improve the business because of their emotional tie to the club? At the end of the day, the best business opportunity should be the one we back but I'd like to see our fan groups be more vocal in terms of improving our say at the same time.

I moved your thread as it was easily contained within the existing topic. I respectfully suggest you calm down and don't treat people's valid and constructive criticism of the Blue Knights as some sort of personal slur on yourself.

I'm concerned by all the bids for varying reasons. Unfortunately, we simply don't have the information at hand to judge them effectively. Obviously I'd prefer an owner that is of a Rangers persuasion but neither should we preclude any bid just because they may not be of domestic stock.

I got the impression Randall was mixing up the EBT case with the more recent refusal of the club to pay its PAYE/NI bills. I agree with you that the HMRC reaction to this issue is worrying but they were always going to be robust in the way they attempt to recover what they feel are unpaid taxes. However, as you mention, even if we're found to have being doing these erroneously, the club can offer mitigation on time-scales. Again, this all points towards some sort of affordable settlement.

Not sure what the club would have to gain from withholding the information. Obviously it would cause irreparable damage between the two clubs but our relationship must be rock bottom as it is. That's fair enough but one can argue they'll also benefit from the extra media exposure. As it stands we don't know enough about any of the bids so until we do it would be foolhardy to back any of them per se.

A reasonably interesting 10mins actually. OK, the more difficult questions weren't asked but we did get assurances the dual contract allegation is nonsense (if you believe SDM that is). As for the EBT stuff, I don't think much light was shed there. However, with each passing day I'm more inclined to think HMRC will settle rather than pursue us through higher courts. We can only but wait and see.

Our hosts had a server attack problem yesterday evening unfortunately which meant they had to reset the servers. Sometimes this takes no more than 10mins but unfortunately it can take a couple of hours. When this happens, you'll experience intermittent availability and slow access speeds.
