  1. I'm not the one asking fans to choose sides. I'm just asking for our fans to be treated with respect and with transparency.
  2. You're probably right mate. I hope not but I think you are. Again, a dream team of high net worth bears backed by knowledgable fans should be all our favourites. Forget Miller, forget Ng and forget some clumsy Hibee. They should be unable to compete. There should be no doubt. But there is and it should be simple enough to dispel it. I, for one, sincerely hope they can.
  3. Lad has done very well lately. Has definitely taken his opportunity and deserves our backing.
  4. No-one is denying that mate. However that shouldn't mean valid questions are ignored now. Read what I say. Of course TBK are the only non-liquidation choice left - the realistic option for the majority of bears. But there remains a lot of work to be done and we know next to nothing about them or their plans. The fan groups think they are capable. I'm delighted by that. But show us why they're credible. Do that and they'll romp to victory. Do not and doubts will remain. Simples.
  5. As I said this morning on Twitter, I doubt many bears would choose the Miller bid over the TBK one. I certainly don't. However I'm inclined to share BD's earlier views. How on earth can anyone be expected to 'choose sides' in the current information vacuum? How about an analysis of the TBK bid? Where does Whyte fit in? What is PM offering him? What does CW want? How do Ticketus feature? Will the fans accept CW as part of the club going forward? Are the other bidders really out of the picture? Clearly there are lots of questions and, yes, it's perhaps unfair to demand TBK answer such questions when any one of the other three bidders could make a similar comeback from stepping back. Nevertheless I'm still amazed our fan groups seem so keen to pretend there remain a number of concerns apparently unworthy of their attention.
  6. Welcome mate!
  7. I doubt those chancers really know to be honest.
  8. FWIW I don't doubt there will be renewed bid(s) next week but I do doubt their notion Whyte isn't an impediment.
  9. I don't trust a word D&P say.
  10. I'd fancy it's the conditions RE: Craig Whyte that are causing the problem.
  11. Seems like pre-pack/hybrid liquidation. I won't pretend to know if that could work but I'm certainly very wary of it. Problem is, so far TBK and the A-P guys have failed to do a deal with Ticketus and/or Whyte so we may have no other option.
  12. Bill Miller: "Challenging others to come forward" "Has played no part in speaking to Whyte/Ticketus, believes they endanger Rangers" "No plans to liquidate Rangers" "Will put forward 11.2m" "Will put club into an incubator company, which preserves club and records whilst CVA is sorted" "Two companies then merged once CVA is completed" "Negotiations with SPL to ensure no deductions for next season, offer is contingent on no sanctions from them and therefore time is of the essence" From SSN
  13. Situation RE: Ng bid is as letter to Singaporean media. He has 'withdrawn' but may step back if situation RE: Whyte shares changes With only one bidder left in the process, Rangers are nearing liquidation more by the day. Shame on D&P, Ticketus & Craig Whyte.
  14. Still not got confirmation but it does appear the letter is genuine - having been sent to Sing media. Looking to get more info but, as it stands, it now seems TBK and Ng have both 'stepped aside'. You can all make your own minds up as to what that actually means.
  15. That seems to be the case. Await more info. Obviously there is an overlap between what I'm getting and others. Confusion reigns!
  16. I believe the BBC journo deleted the letter image from his Twitter account. However, FWIW, I think some of the sentiments in it are correct although, as far as I'm aware, their bid still stands.
  17. I'm attempting to verify that letter.
  18. A-P bid remains on the table of D&P. Waiting on D&P to make their move now.
  19. There's no doubt Slater has some good info from time to time. Whether he's correct here, I can't say but he's certainly going against the grain.
  20. I've replied to him a few times mate. Our fan groups, D&P, Alistair Johnston, KPMG, Asian media and reputable RFC fans say otherwise. In saying that, obviously all information should be welcomed to ensure any bid is reputable.
  21. Obviously what people say in public is different from what they do in private. That goes for all bidders.
  22. To be clear, I'd agree the threat of liquidation has never been higher. Let's hope all parties understand the frustration of the fans in that respect.
  23. The fee gets you a period of exclusivity for 14 days where you get access to certain data and people you haven't had already. It doesn't guarantee you'll be the probable buyer (who knows what else is hiding below the surface?) and it doesn't stop others making renewed bids after the fact. No-one is sure what happens to the fee which is why they're wanting conditions placed upon it. Those conditions haven't been met which is why we have the current impasse.
  24. Mate, I could go on about the chances of liquidation being as high as they've ever been but I'd rather be positive and explain the situation clearly for those who are struggling (including myself to be honest)...
  25. Let's have a sober look at the current situation facing us: 1. No bidder has walked away. One or two may use this as a deliberate strategy to try and force the hand of another party but all bidders remain interested and active. All will be aiming their genuine 'final' bids for day +15 after the PB is named. 2. Exclusivity fee. All bidders can afford to pay this. They've, so far, deliberately refused not to because the fee is excessive, non-refundable and apparently non-deductible. Paying £500K offers next to no advantage when D&P have shown they will consider late (written) bids. 3. Funding. All bidders have money but only one is funding their bid via a secured loan from Ticketus (TBK). Of the others, one appears to be self-funded (A-P), one may be based on selling assets (Miller) and the other we don't know anything about (Kennedy). 4. Delays. It's is laughable to accuse any one party of dithering. All parties have contributed to the unacceptable situation we're in. From contradictory admin statements, to bidders playing poker, to Ticketus playing the field; all are delaying out of self-interest. 5. Conclusion. The situation is relatively simple. No buyer wants to pay the exclusivity fee because this does not guarantee enough of an advantage to make a sale competition probable. Add in the fact Craig Whyte's shareholding has not been delivered and Ticketus change their mind on a daily basis then it's no wonder all bidders are frustrated. However, time is now their enemy and they (and we) must consider accepting a few negatives for the greater good. It's all to play for and anything can and will happen.
