I'm sure I read somewhere that Celtic paid the tax due on them a while back.

Nice to see you mate!

Welcome mate...

Unfortunately, as you know, the Clyde phone in is by Celtic fans, for Celtic fans so that doesn't fit with their outlook. All the more disappointing when our club deal with this mob.

Add in the supposed Daly/Panorama investigation, a few people won't be sleeping easy at the moment.

Lord Hodge forces MIH to release correspondence between them & Collyer Bristow regarding sale of Rangers

Good to see TBO add their weight to the protest...

They opposed the original order so they may want to reaffirm that.
-
Hmmm not sure. I think it's possibly just a procedural hearing to extend the current court order for D&P. HMRC may be opposing just like the last time.
-
Due to start at 10am apparently. A starred motion with regard to an administration order. Starred means it's opposed.
-
Rangers will certainly look into all possible resolutions of the situation. Talking up a move to Div3 is genuine I'm sure but also a method of pressurising the bodies to act more fairly.

Could be any time mate. I'm sure news will filter out when it's available.

On Monday the administrators gave the impression the bidders were wanting at least a few days to ruminate over a variety of issues - which will have included the SFA sanctions. With the SPL also expected to vote on their proposed new rules this coming Monday, I wouldn't expect any preferred bidder decision until then (though stranger things have happened). The fact is until Craig Whyte is paid to go away, no deal will be done in any case.

Don't think so.

I can understand the attraction at 'starting again' but I'd much prefer to stay in the SPL. For one thing I don't think the new sanctions will be voted through by the other clubs next week (too many could be facing the same scenario in the future) and I also think we'll win any appeal against the SFA embargo (partially at least). Starting afresh in Division 3 (if accepted) would be fascinating but I'm not convinced it's as attractive as it sounds. In fact it's very dangerous and I think it's extremely arrogant of us to suggest we'd be back in the SPL within 3 seasons. What if the SPL change their rules/size again in the interim? How soon would fans get fed up of this new adventure? Could we afford to retain and maintain Ibrox Stadium and Auchenhowie? Lots of questions and absolutely no guarantees.

Lafferty Suspended After Altercation With McCoist.

Some media reports from late last year have it as Gerry Carlile (@AgentGerry on Twitter)... You can guess who Gerry supports I'm sure. Not sure if he's changed agents since then. -

It's an interesting idea but I don't think Queens Park need to be drawn into this. They may not mind the extra publicity and revenue right enough... -

Feel free mate - any advice is always welcome. -

Like I say, I'm sure the guys will be planning ahead and will contact GCC and SP... If anything I'd fancy these organisations will be bending over backwards to accommodate the protest and avoid any negative publicity for themselves. Especially the former in an election year. -

The BBC protest finished with a short march to Ibrox Stadium last year and although permission wasn't requested by the organisers, the police ensured it was still permitted and peaceful. As long as people don't take to the public highway, they'll be absolutely fine. -

I'm sure Koeman/Empire and those helping him organise the protest will be well aware of the limitations placed upon them. -
John Bennett Withdraws from The Blue Knights Consortium
Frankie replied to BrahimHemdani's topic in Rangers Chat
You should know by now that this forum is a place for adults - a place where all issues and opinions can be discussed maturely. I'd suggest that BH has made a serious error of judgement in publicising his problem with Mr Bennett. Now, we could have deleted that error of judgement or we could discuss the point he was making in our usual sensible way. I'm not sure anyone would have gained from hiding the issue. If anyone has lost out from this farce, it's BH as his own reputation is taking a hiding right across the Rangers supporting community. Deservedly so in my view. As for those elsewhere taking a gratuitous and ill-informed pop at this forum (or indeed myself) because of this issue, well that's also rather disappointing. Neither this forum (or myself) profess to be perfect but we will never apologise for promoting open discussion and encouraging a wide range of topics and opinions. Not doing so would be the wrong thing to do as I've never seen a bear online incapable of defending their opinion or themselves where appropriate. -
A well constructed post with some great advice mate. I hope everyone has a read and takes the time to take some action.
