  1. I don't disagree mate. The resignations don't surprise me all that much but in the ongoing context, there remain far too many questions about Whyte. As yet, he's failed to answer them.
  2. Not necessarily true. These guys were just two remaining embers from the last regime so it's not a surprise that they have not been involved with the day-to-day business as much as before. More so, when we had statements made before/during the takeover about the new owner. The biggest problem I have is that it is the ordinary supporter that is in the dark here. We literally have no idea of the direction of the club.
  3. Won't be the first or last time this happens unfortunately.
  4. Seems strange to have taken so long but only time will tell if there is more to this than meets the eye.
  5. "They from both being of the opinion that since the change of ownership they have been excluded from participating in corp gov at the club"

Elliot is a proven liar so I'm sure his influence have affected the organisation in the same way Power and his Celtic supporting wife have. As always, a farce!
  7. I'm astounded at the gall of Bain and McIntyre. I hope the club ensure both don't receive a penny.
  8. It''s a fair point actually. I disagree with the legislation and the need for it. However, it will arguably change the situation for the better in terms of decreeing what is and isn't acceptable. RFC and its fans won't lose out there. Others will. Problem is we're then just supporting something that has been poorly presented just to make hay with Celtic and their fans.
  9. A bit light on info. Perhaps one of our resident trust reps could tell us a bit more?
  10. I should add that you may have seen me question Humza on G4S before (via Twitter). He promised he'd look into it but has never replied. I believe the background and work of G4S would be very interesting should someone choose to investigate further.
  11. Great work Chris! 1. To what extent have G4S been involved in this debate - be it with the Joint Action Group or the Justice Committee? I can't see any submission from them on the issue or any explanation of how they intend to train their staff on dealing with the proposed Bill. That appears to be a bizarre oversight considering the scale of which they're involved with the game in our country. 2. It seems obvious that both Celtic FC and their support don't believe they have any problems whatsoever with regard to their supporters and 'offensive' behaviour. The club never comment on sectarian chants about huns or the IRA while their official fan groups gave evidence to you that they believe such terms/songs are acceptable. How do the Justice Committee and Lord Advocate intend dealing with such disingenuous behaviour? 3. One of my main worries about the new Bill is that lack of clarity. There is still no proscribed list of terms/chants/behaviour which is clearly defined as offensive so it appears that anything could be prosecuted in the future. How do the Committee and the Lord Advocate intend ensuring any new laws are applied consistently, fairly and neutrally given almost everyone involved in potential cases will have a background (religious, political or even just sporting) that may imply a lack of impartiality?
  12. Various sources (including the Evening Times) have reported that the larger Bill was being dealt with in Edinburgh - at least the First Tier Tribunal was held there. George House IIRC. Next stage of the process may be held elsewhere though - I've no idea!
  13. Plenty players who are in the huff show it easily enough - see Tevez, Kayal and more. I'd also agree that Bougherra didn't look as interested earlier this season and it showed in his attitude on the park. Jelavic (IMHO) is merely just not in as effective form as he was last season and I'd contend the reasons I listed are more likely than the lad being upset with being denied a move to Leicester City. I also think he is playing well enough and I'm excited that his alleged poor form is still bearing fruit for the team. I'd prefer he didn't talk of moving on but as long as he continues to play well for us in the mean-time (as Bougherra largely did) I'm comfortable enough with any player who wants to move to 'better' leagues.
  14. Absolutely but what what I'm saying is, his attitude and work-rate suggests he's not in the huff. If the player was unhappy then I think it would show up much more obviously.
  15. I think they've been playing a 4-3-3 lately with Jelavic one of the wider players.
  16. He has started the last two matches for them - not sure if other players are injured but with Klasnić not getting any younger, I think Jelavic will only improve in an international cap sense.
  17. The club may have already attempted to stop the programme but, FWIW, I think this will be shown.
  18. Jelavic doesn't play as if he's in the huff to me. Watched him closely in the last two games at Ibrox and his work-rate was superb as usual. Sure, his form hasn't perhaps been quite as exciting as it was last season but that could be attributed to a number of factors (ongoing knee problem, confidence, poor service etc) as opposed to him being unhappy.
  19. Don't think so. Edinburgh IIRC.
  20. The title of the programme does infer either a reputable source or himself going under-cover. Will be interesting to see how the club defends itself from any claims the programme makes. Will be essential viewing for all of us.
  21. Obviously Daly has previous for going under-cover with subject companies. Not sure if this has happened here or not but, like you say, this isn't going to be good news.
  22. Well, obviously various EPL teams and figures have been the subject of similar programmes over the years. Our current unique tax problems and Whyte's vague business background will make for interesting viewing. Givem James Cook's less then helpful editing of our manager a few weeks back, I'd fancy the club will be keen to ensure any claims made are factual.
  23. Rangers - The Inside Story BBC 1 Scotland October 20th, 7:00pm. Mark Daly reveals what lies in store for Craig Whyte, the new owner of Rangers FC - one of Scotland's oldest football clubs - which is currently being threatened with a potentially business-closing 50 million-pound tax bill.
  24. The working group continue to meet regularly. Unfortunately, VB have recently pulled out from this citing a lack of pro-active work from the group.
  25. Mark Daly (Panorama reporter) has confirmed to me that a BBC documentary about RFC/Craig Whyte is due to be screened next Thursday, 20th October. This should be fascinating - not sure if this will be Panaroma or simply a stand-alone investigative piece from this guy.
