I think it's easy enough to say that with a smaller community but RM has significant costs so I don't blame them for looking to recoup a portion of that via those that are able to help. Usually they do this via competitions which is a reasonable way of raising cash but still giving something back if possible. No-one is ever forced to pay and no-one makes a profit. That's the important thing.

The software costs money which Craig generously donates. The hosting costs money which bmck generously donates. Domain names cost money which I donate. All admin/mods also put in their time and advice which is even more invaluable. The more visitors and site hits we have (which is always gradually increasing) the more the hosting may cost but, as it stands, we're comfortable enough because of helpful external factors. If people wanted to donate as well then of course that would be extremely helpful but we'd rather keep everything 'free' because we don't run this site for profit and if there is downtime that gives us an excuse...

Admin jointly absorb the costs mate. Because we don't have a huge amount of traffic (compared to say FF or RM) we don't want to annoy our users with adverts or pressure them for donations.

I think he's a reasonable midfield player who'll do us a turn in terms of working hard and maintaining positional discipline. However, we really need creative outlets and I don't think that's what he's about - although his chip into the box last night was excellent.

Yeah, I'd agree. Still far from brilliant and perhaps it was because others were so bad, he looked good.

I agree the issue of match sharpness is an important one. Unfortunately, what worried me last night was just how poor the attitude was from some. The work-rate just wasn't there.

I think it comes down to attitude sometimes as well as actual footballing quality. Last night there was no desire so we were second to every ball and lost every physical challenge we went into.

Goodness me that was poor. We had absolutely nothing to offer - particularly in midfield. Wallace, Jelavic & McGregor as good as it got. Can't see us turning this round as it stands.

Dreadful first half from Rangers. Opened up three times early on but warnings ignored. Poor attitude and work-rate throughout team. The lack of creativity and comfort on the ball is extremely worrying. Team will have to get act together soon.

Wouldn't imagine much more than 25-30,000 will be there but they'll provide a decent atmosphere I'm sure...
